Chapter 220: Not Falling For That
Chapter 220: Not Falling For That
Wang Si reached out and fiddled with a necklace that had just been put on Yali's neck, letting out a soft laugh.
Saint Spirit Douluo Yali's chest heaved violently, her delicate body flushed like a ripe shrimp.
She had thought that her soul power would be able to suppress Wang Si's degenerate soul power, but she had miscalculated.
Wang Si's dragon-type soul power wasn't degenerate, and her purification abilities had no effect!
"You've really had it tough, holding up such a mess on your own. I wish I could do more to help ease your fatigue. If Dean Yali is done here, I should be leaving. After all, I'm quite busy."
Wang Si gave her breasts a final squeeze and a playful pat before preparing to depart.
Sensing his imminent departure, Yali grabbed his hand.
The Shrek Academy desperately needed a pillar of support, or at least a figure that would command the respect of others.
Yun Ming's sudden madness had not only caused immense damage to the academy and the surrounding Tang Sect, but the Spirit Transmission Tower headquarters had been completely destroyed by him.
With most of the high-ranking members of the Thousand Ancient Families dead, the Spirit Transmission Tower was now solely under Leng Yao Ju's control.
Being rivals in love, Yali knew that Leng Yao Ju would surely take this opportunity to kick them while they were down.
Even without her intervention, the losses incurred by the Spirit Transmission Tower would be difficult for Shrek Academy to compensate for, given their current lack of resources.
This was why she had sought out Wang Si despite being aware of his mischievous nature.
Divine artisans on the continent were walking gold mines, and it would be a waste not to utilize the one they had at their disposal.
"Yun Ming destroyed the Spirit Transmission Tower headquarters. I'm sure Leng Yao Ju will come to Shrek Academy for compensation once she has complete control. I hope you can forge a few sets of the Four-Word Battle Armor for the Spirit Transmission Tower. Shrek Academy is... broke."
Held by the wrist, Wang Si paused but did not stand up, quietly listening to Yali's request.
Having stated her request, Yali closed her eyes again.
"What if I refuse?" Wang Si teased. Yali turned her head away, refusing to take the bait.
Finding her reaction dull, Wang Si wanted to leave, but Yali's hand remained firmly clasped around his wrist.
"Is it so hard to admit defeat?" Wang Si turned and caressed her flushed cheeks, a playful glint in his eyes.
"I don't want to play," Yali muttered, stubbornly averting her gaze.
"Hmm?" Wang Si feigned surprise, leaning over to inspect her face. Sensing that he might have misunderstood, Yali quickly added, "I won't fall for your tricks."
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You're playing with words now. I wouldn't dare let you play with that either. With those sharp little teeth of yours, I'm afraid you'd bite it off."
Intrigued, Wang Si picked Yali up and settled her on his lap. Once she was comfortable, he lay back on the bed and gave her a meaningful look.
"I'll give you one chance. Don't disappoint me."
Yali's temples were beaded with sweat, and her body swayed slightly.
"I have no strength left. I can't even get up," she whispered.
"Don't worry," Wang Si reassured her. "Just a symbolic twist will do, and we can make up for it next time. Of course, you can use this excuse again then. As long as your heart is in it, I'm very forgiving to my women."
Setting Yali down, Wang Si once again entertained her with his skills, but this time, Yali reached her climax even faster than he did.
Yali's face, already flushed with embarrassment, turned an even deeper shade of red. Just then, she felt a chill against her skin.
Yali paused, sensing the sudden coldness, and looked down to see the Spear of Heaven in her hand!
In an instant, she snapped back to reality and quickly pushed Wang Si away, grabbing the spear. But upon realizing her current state, she immediately threw it aside.
Fumbling with her clothes, Yali hastily put on a set and prepared to flee.
"How about one more chance? Catch the Spear of Heaven, and it's yours again.
Rest assured, I know you're shy, so I've already extracted part of Yun Ming's soul from it."
Yali, wearing only a pair of pants, turned her head at his words and glared at Wang Si. But as she looked at the spear on the ground, her expression wavered.
Finally, with heavy steps, she approached the spear and tremblingly picked it up.
As expected, the soul essence of Yun Ming that had been within it was gone.
This fact brought Yali both relief and renewed tension, as she knew that Wang Si extracting that soul essence could not bode well.
Yali sheathed the spear and slowly walked towards Wang Si. Seeing this, Wang Si egged her on from the sidelines.
"Why don't you try stabbing me with it? Who knows, you might just kill me."
Yali clenched her fists, but she remained silent. Standing there, she simply stared at this mischievous man, took a deep breath, and...
Just as she was about to make a move, Wang Si's mischievous voice rang out again.
"I've poked you so many times, so it's only fair that you poke me back. But please, keep it above the waist."
Upon hearing this, Yali immediately summoned her Four-Word Battle Armor and grabbed the spear, stabbing downward with all her might.
She had wanted to do this for a long time!
A crisp 'ding' rang out as her spear was deflected, and Yali's expression darkened as she looked at the black-gold scales covering Wang Si's body and the seven soul rings beneath his feet.
Black, black, black, black, black, black, black.
Seven black soul rings, the last one glowing with a reddish hue.
This guy's seven soul rings were of this configuration, and he also had outrageous defense and strength.
Yali felt a sense of despair well up within her for no apparent reason.
Wang Si slowly got up and walked over to the discarded Spear of Heaven, picking it up.
"It seems you don't really want this spear. Since that's the case, I'll keep it."
Yali simply slumped to the ground, her eyes vacant. She didn't want the spear anymore.
Having it would only remind her of Yun Ming and her current predicament.
Wang Si sheathed the Spear of Heaven and slowly approached the dejected Yali, tilting her chin up to look at him.
"Do you want to die?"
Hearing this, Yali only glanced at his oppressive eyes, her heart trembling with a mix of dread and anticipation—anticipation that this guy would just take the initiative to end her life.
"It seems you really do want to die. In that case, please close your eyes."
Wang Si's smile was mischievous, and though Yali's heart felt like a bundle of nerves, she closed her eyes.
