Chapter 22

Vivian was inside her room.

 

Her hair was tied up into a knot and her upper body was completely naked. She was sitting at one corner of the room and dipping one end of the damp cloth into the bucket of hot water.

 

The sky was already dark so the room was dark, but not too dark, just dark enough that the human eyes could still see. Moreover, there were no lamps or light switches inside her room either. Her only source of light that she had came from the window.

 

But if she wanted more light, she could open the door because there were lamps in the hallway.

 

However, she wasn't interested in doing that.

 

Vivian stared at her walls, including the floor and ceiling.

 

I've already checked earlier and I didn't find any peeping holes…

 

But still…

 

Her eyes turned to slits and she tried her best to focus to feel if there was anyone nearby spying on her.

 

I guess it's safe…

 

She grabbed the bottle of soap, poured 2 drops on the part of the cloth that she dipped inside the bucket and then began wiping her left forearm.

 

Hmm…

 

It's not too soapy but it does remove the dirt…

 

She pressed her forearm near her nose.

 

Sniff.

 

Sniff.

 

Smells like roses…

 

She glanced at her top clothes on the side -- a leather armor, a white shirt and bandages.

 

I didn't expect that the original owner of this body didn't have a bra…

 

When she shed her top earlier, she saw the bandages wrapped around her chest. Initially, she thought there was a bra underneath, like maybe the owner did that for extra protection or something since she was an adventurer. However, upon unwrapping the bandages, she found out there was nothing else underneath, just her bare white flesh.

 

As for how she didn't realize it, as a man from her original world, Vivian has no idea what it feels like to wear a bra. She has never worn one and wasn't interested in wearing one either.

 

Do bras exist in this world…?

 

She tried to recall all of the women she encountered since coming to this world.

 

I don't know…

 

I don't remember seeing any nipples poking out…

 

When she was walking around, it never crossed her mind to look at the chest of the women if they were wearing bras or not.

 

She continued wiping herself until her eyes fell down at her bare white c-cup breasts.

 

I didn't expect to have pink nipples…

 

However…

 

She raised her arm and looked at her armpits.

 

There was purple hair and looked like it hadn't been shaved once or for a long time.

 

Maybe people don't shave their armpits in this world…?

 

I guess it's fine for men...

 

But for women…

 

Anyhow, I'm surprised that it's color purple…

 

She tried touching it.

 

Very weird…

 

Looks kinky to be quite honest…

 

I feel like a pervert for having colored hair armpits…

 

She recalled the people she encountered since coming to this world.

 

I saw black and white people and they have different hair colors…

 

I guess it's normal in this world…

 

After she was done lathering her top body, including her face, she dipped the other end of the damp cloth into the bucket and then began wiping away the soap.

 

Once she was done, she got up and then stared at the walls for a minute once again.

 

And just like a while ago, her eyes turned to slits and she tried her best to focus her senses in order to feel if there was anyone nearby spying on her.

 

Once she felt like it was safe, she began unbuttoning her pants.

 

She already removed her high-cut leather shoes and the bandages wrapped around her ankles that were supposed to be shoes before washing herself before washing herself, so she only had to take off her pants.

 

As she pulled it down, a white underwear was revealed -- or to be specific, it was supposedly white but had turned into dirty white after many uses.

 

Well, since I have underwear, then I guess there must be bras…

 

Or were bras something that was developed at a later date…?

 

She tried to recall the history of bras in her previous world.

 

"I honestly don't know…" she said and shook her head.

 

Unfortunately, she couldn't tell because she never had any interest in learning about such things.

 

She pulled down her underwear and a smile appeared on her face.

 

Back when I peed on the forest, I was too focused on other things that I didn't bother to check this…

 

It was a lie.

 

The truth was that she was more afraid after realizing it was flat and had to squat down to pee.

 

So it's also purple, huh...

 

She glanced at the underwear on her hand and there was a yellow stain in the middle.

 

A feeling of disgust welled up inside of her and she immediately put it away.

 

Although this was now her body, she only just got it today and it was a different gender. Because of that, she has yet to fully register in her mind that she was the owner of those stains. So seeing that yellow stain made her feel like she was touching someone else's dirty underwear.

 

Wait…!

 

Do periods here exist…?

 

Wait, no...

 

I mean, I'm a woman, so I guess I should have one…

 

But when is that…?

 

I heard that it's quite painful…

 

I think it's called dis--dys--diz--dysmor--dizorp--dismormpnia…?

 

I don't even know what it's exactly called…

 

Well, I did hear that once a woman's body fat % becomes super low, they won't have any periods…

 

She stared at her naked white-skinned slightly toned body.

 

But is it safe though…?

 

As an aspiring fitness influencer, she, of course, knew how to diet.

 

I mean, I'm an adventurer right now so I need the right amount of energy storage…

 

To maintain a low body fat percentage, I need to either be on a calorie deficit or always be physically active…

 

And as an adventurer, although I would be constantly physically active, the probability of me getting caught up in unexpected dangerous situations is quite high so I can't have a limited amount of energy... 

 

I must be healthy at all costs…

 

Tch!

 

She made a clicking sound with her tongue.

 

Whatever, I'll think about that later…

 

Well, at least I'm sexy…

 

She stared at her body once again for a moment and flexed her biceps and chest before touching her face, trying to feel if there were any scars or pimples.

 

I want to see my face, but I don't have any mirror…

 

She began wiping her lower body.

 

Once she was done, Vivian faced another problem.

 

She was naked and shivering while staring at her dirty clothes.

 

I should've eaten first before taking a bath…

 

It's not like I can wear my dirty clothes…

 

She scratched her head.

 

"Why in God's name didn't the owner of this body have any extra clothes?!"

 

"Even homeless people from my original world had extra clothes!"

 

She let out a deep sigh.

 

"I need to buy clothes tomorrow, even just one set for sleeping…"

 

"I also need a towel…"

 

With no other choice, she wore back her dirty clothes -- only the shirt and pants, though. The underwear and bandages, including her fingerless gloves, she plans to wash them.

Vivian was standing by the window and hanging her underwear, bandages and fingerless gloves.

 

Once she was done, she grabbed her shoes and wore them. She got up, grabbed her key and coin pouch, and then headed to the door.

 

And before opening the door, she took one last look at the clothes hanging on the window in case they would fall or be blown away by the wind. 

 

Looks safe I guess…

 

I just hope there are no perverts around to steal my underwear…

 

I need to buy hangers and clips…

 

I also need to buy a new dagger or any new weapon…

 

Also shampoo -- if there's one…

 

And oh, I also need lotion…

 

So many things to buy and yet so poor…

 

Her mind suddenly remembered something.

 

She raised her hands and looked at her fingers.

 

It was slightly long and some of them were crooked.

 

Since I didn't find any nail-cutter, I'm assuming the owner of this body just bit them off…

 

She didn't even bother to look at her toenails.

 

Really…

 

Absolutely really hopeless…

 

She smelled herself.

 

Sniff.

 

Sniff.

 

The combination of dried sweat from her shirt and the rosy scent from her skin permeated her nose.

 

"This is really embarrassing but I can't do anything about this…"

 

She looked at her breast and noticed that her nipples were poking against her shirt.

 

"This is too obvious."

 

She picked up her leather armor and wore it.

 

She opened the door, closed it behind her and then locked it with the key before climbing downstairs.
