*Transfiguration — The Little Stories You Don't Know!*
Seeing the title of the book and the paragraphs about Animagus, Ivan glanced at Luna nervously, wondering if she had guessed something.
Otherwise, why would she be reading such a book?
Luna's silver-gray eyes continued to fixate on Ivan. Just as Ivan was at a loss, the little witch suddenly frowned and muttered with a hint of disappointment.
"You haven't delivered my letter yet."
"I'm not a real Owl, so I don't have a mail delivery service", Ivan said with a touch of helplessness, effectively admitting his identity.
There was no point in denying it; Luna had clearly recognized him.
And it seemed she hadn't told Professor Flitwick or Professor Mcgonagall, but had instead kept it a secret. Otherwise, Professor Mcgonagall would have stormed over to confront him by now.
"So, that Owl is your Animagus, right?" Luna asked, gesturing with her hand and looking at Ivan with a probing gaze.
"Right", Ivan nodded, understanding what she was gesturing. It was the outline of an Owl.
Then, Ivan asked curiously, "How did you figure it out? My transformed Owl shouldn't have any obvious flaws."
Animagus is a highly advanced form of Transfiguration. Once the transformation is complete, even a wizard skilled in the same Transfiguration would find it hard to detect any discrepancies.
"Because a real Owl wouldn't snatch someone else's letter or read newspapers, right?" Luna tilted her head, her tone light.
Ivan was momentarily speechless. It seemed he had overstepped the bounds a bit.
Especially since his transformed Owl had shown a keen interest in the front-page news of The Quibbler. No wonder Luna could easily guess his identity.
Ivan quickly recalled the various slip-ups he had made during his transformation.
At the time, Ivan had thought that Luna, with her lack of common sense and fascination for strange things, might accept a somewhat peculiar Owl.
But it turned out she was much smarter than he had imagined.
Ivan shook his head and handed the book to her. As Luna took it, her gaze lingered on the paper in Ivan's hand.
"Did you write this? A passage?" Luna asked suddenly.
Ivan paused, looking at Luna in surprise, and grabbed her wrist to ask, "I found this elsewhere. These characters hide some secrets. Can you understand them?"
"No, I can't, but I think it might be a passage, perhaps praising someone", Luna's voice was somewhat uncertain.
Intuition, Ivan's flicker of hope cooled considerably.
The system's hint was a key, possibly to unlock something important, which didn't align with what Luna had just said.
After taking back her book, Luna didn't chat with Ivan any further. She walked into the library, muttering to herself, "That passage can't be from Rowena Ravenclaw. She wasn't that narcissistic."
Ivan faintly heard Luna's murmur but couldn't quite grasp what she meant.
However, Luna's behavior was always peculiar, and Ivan couldn't fathom her thoughts. It suddenly occurred to him that he hadn't asked her how she could understand Owl language.
Ivan thought for a moment and ultimately decided to give up on the idea of asking the girl again. He walked over to Hermione, who was sitting on a resting chair, flipping through a book.
"Hermione, have you found any clues about the characters?" Ivan asked.
"No, I checked *Ancient Egyptian Magical Scripts* and *Magical Runes*, but found nothing relevant", Hermione said, closing the book in her hands with a disappointed look.
After a brief pause, Hermione, pretending not to care, asked, "Who was that girl just now? Is she a first-year student?"
"Her name is Luna. She’s from Ravenclaw House. I happened to meet her, so I asked if she could understand these characters", Ivan explained casually.
"And?" Hermione seemed a bit nervous for some reason.
"Luna said it might be a praise for someone", Ivan said.
"She can understand them?" Hermione was quite surprised and then felt a bit down. She had read so many books, yet she knew less than a first-year Ravenclaw girl.
"Luna was probably just guessing based on her intuition", Ivan said uncertainly.
He remembered that in the original timeline, Luna’s intuition seemed quite accurate, but he was unsure why she would make such an unreliable guess this time.
Intuition? Really? Hermione was speechless for a while. She didn’t believe in intuition; to her, it was no different from random guessing.
Ivan and Hermione spent the entire afternoon in the library’s lounge. As it neared dinnertime, they walked together towards the Great Hall.
At the entrance, Ivan saw a new parchment posted on the bulletin board. A small group of people was gathered there, reading the text on the parchment. Ron and Harry were also among the crowd.
"Wow, Ivan, come and take a look. The school is hosting a Duelling Club tonight at eight o’clock!" Ron turned around, spotted Ivan, and excitedly waved them over, his voice filled with enthusiasm.
"What’s a Duelling Club? What’s it for?" Hermione, curious, leaned in to take a closer look.
"It’s probably a course to teach us how to duel. After all, this knowledge might come in handy someday", Ron said, imagining himself one day being like the protagonist in a biography, battling a powerful enemy for three hundred rounds.
Ivan had already known about this, so he wasn’t surprised at all.
He even admired Lockhart’s resilience. Despite being heavily criticized by him yesterday, Lockhart was back on his feet today.
Impressive!
As Ivan was thinking, the excited Harry and Ron turned to him and said, "Ivan, are you coming tonight?"
"Of course, I’m quite curious about this Duelling Club", Ivan nodded, already eager to see Lockhart’s performance.
At eight o’clock that evening, the four of them arrived at the Great Hall. They found that the place had undergone significant changes. The four House tables were gone, replaced by a gilded stage. Hundreds of floating candles illuminated the area brightly.
Almost all the Hogwarts students who had received the news were there, gathered on both sides of the gilded stage, discussing this unusually special new course.
