In the classroom, a mix of chatter and arguments filled the air.
Just as Qiao Sang was about to call for Treasure Seeker, a clear voice rang out, "Qiao Sang, over here!"
She followed the sound and saw Jin Fanfei sitting in the corner of the classroom, which was the designated seat for the Slacker, waving at her excitedly.
Qiao Sang was taken aback for a moment, then she sat down in the empty seat next to the Slacker's spot and asked, "You were also assigned here?"
Students who made it into the Elite Beastmaster Class were typically outstanding in some specific area. It seemed that Jin Fanfei and Ballpuff's coordination skills were highly regarded by the school.
"Yeah", Jin Fanfei said sheepishly. "I scored 645 on the High School Entrance Exam."
Qiao Sang: "…!"

"I remember you being a Special Recruitment Student?" Qiao Sang asked after a long pause.

"Maybe it's because they've all found so many new friends", Jin Fanfei pointed to a direction by the window. "My Ballpuff usually stays by my side, but today it found a Vine Knot with the same attributes in the classroom and went to play with it."
Qiao Sang turned to look and indeed saw the usually shy Ballpuff, which usually hid behind Jin Fanfei, grinning and playing with a Vine Knot covered in green leaves, with only its white eyes visible.

A Puffbird had flown straight at his head and even bounced a couple of times.
Being able to teach the best class at the city's top high school, Li Yi was well-prepared for such minor incidents. He adjusted his glasses and calmly continued, "I know that you have all just become Beastmasters and want to spend time with your familiars, but I hope you can keep your familiars…"
"Sandfox! Don't go outside!" A student in the front row suddenly chased after a Sandfox that was heading out of the classroom.
Despite being interrupted, Li Yi remained unperturbed. "Let's not worry about that for now. The student will come back on their own. In such situations, I hope you can calmly summon your familiars back instead of chasing them around. Everyone understand?"

A boy wearing glasses, looking at his Puffbird, trembled in his seat.
Li Yi didn't seem angry, just gentle. "I hope in the future, you will keep your familiars in the Beastmaster Codex during class and not let them out casually. Everyone understand?"
"Yes!" The students answered in unison.
Li Yi nodded in satisfaction.
After smiling for 30 seconds, his smile froze. "Why haven't you put your familiars away yet?"
The students suddenly realized and quickly summoned their familiars back.
Just then, everyone noticed that the teacher's glasses had been mysteriously removed.
Li Yi narrowed his eyes and scanned the room, finally focusing on a Bubble Chime floating in front of him. "Whose Bubble Chime is this?"
Wang Jihang, sitting in the middle, stood up abruptly. "Teacher, it's mine."
Li Yi patiently instructed, "As a Beastmaster, you must control your familiar's behavior when you let it out. I, too, am a Beastmaster and am used to such occurrences, but what if these things happen to ordinary people?"
Wang Jihang blushed and quickly summoned his Bubble Chime back into the Beastmaster Codex.
The glasses, however, continued to float in the air, changing positions.
Li Yi was taken aback for a moment, then narrowed his eyes again, observing the surroundings.
All the familiars had been summoned back, with none left out.
Qiao Sang, sitting in the corner, glanced at the summoned Bubble Chime and then at the floating glasses, feeling a chill run down her spine.
She had almost forgotten about her Treasure Seeker…
Leaving a deep impression on the teacher on the first day of school was not a good thing.
Qiao Sang discreetly waved her hand under the table, and a white light appeared in the air.
"Clang!"
The glasses fell to the ground with a sound, the lens cracking.
