Chapter 209: Planning
Chapter 209: Planning
At the Walker Family Estate.
Nina carefully took the child from Gray's embrace, cradling the baby gently while a smile never left her face.
"Good!"
"This baby is so chubby and healthy-looking. You two should have more; don't worry about raising them."
After glancing at Harvey and Gray, she chuckled and said, "Go ahead and have more children. I'll arrange for people to help you raise them. The continuation of the family bloodline depends on you young folks."
The couple managed a stiff smile.
Although they understood Nina's expectations for the family's legacy and the prosperity of their bloodline, they didn't want to hand over their children to others to raise.
"Aunt..."
Just as Harvey was about to speak, his expression suddenly changed.
"Stop!"
Nina's hands glowed with spiritual light as she gently caressed the baby's head, her face turning solemn.
Divination Spell!
This spell can check if someone has wizardry talent, but it might harm the recipient, especially a newborn baby who is more delicate.
Usually, wizard families would set up a magic array to check for wizardry talent when the baby turns one month old, to avoid causing harm.
This is also the reason for the full moon feast.
But obviously, Nina couldn't wait.
"No!"
Compared to her husband's anxious expression, Gray, who had just become a mother and was still physically weak, erupted in furious anger. She propped herself up and lunged at Nina:
"Don't hurt my child!"
"Stop!" Harvey's expression changed, and he hurriedly blocked his wife, "Don't be reckless. Interrupting the spell will have more severe consequences."
Gray's body went stiff.
"Don't worry." Nina glanced at the couple, her face turning cold.
"The divination spell I'm using is an improved version and won't harm the baby."
"Unfortunately..."
She sighed, "There's no wizardry talent."
Ignoring Gray's hopeful gaze, she expressionlessly handed the baby to the maid behind her.
"If not this time, then we'll have more." Nina took out several bottles of potion from her storage artifact and placed them on the table.
"..." Harvey's face went blank.
"Aunt, what do you mean by this?"
"It's your responsibility to continue the family bloodline." Nina's expression was indifferent.
"Aside from Gray, I'll find you several age-appropriate women with wizardry talent. You should have more children with them."
"I don't oppose your marriage, but women with wizardry talent are more likely to give birth to children with the same talent."
"Aunt..." Harvey's body trembled.
"You've gone mad!"
"Gray's body hasn't fully recovered yet, and we still need to raise a child. We don't plan to have more for now."
"As for finding other women..."
He couldn't help but say,
"That's impossible!"
"You don't need to raise the children yourself." Nina frowned.
"There are servants for that. Your most important task now is to continue the family bloodline."
"What are you doing?"
She raised an eyebrow and lifted her hand to stop Gray, who was charging towards her.
"Give me back my child!"
Gray, with disheveled hair, shouted,
"Give me back my child!"
"Boom!"
Nina's expression darkened, and an invisible force knocked the frenzied Gray to the ground.
"Harvey, watch your wife."
"Let's go!"
After scolding Harvey quietly, she turned and left with the baby in her arms.
"Aunt!"
Harvey wanted to follow, but he was stopped as well.
Although he was a legendary knight, his advancement was still recent, and the gap between him and a late first-ring wizard was too vast.
Facing Nina, he was powerless.
"Aunt!"
When Harvey struggled to get up and tried to rush towards the door, two figures blocked his way.
"Young Master Harvey, don't make things difficult."
Two senior wizard apprentices hired by the Walker Family, holding staffs, sealed the door tightly.
"Boom!"
Amidst the muffled sound, the heavy wooden door slowly closed.
Harvey clenched his teeth, staring at the wooden door in front of him, feeling a sense of powerlessness.
"Senior wizard apprentices..."
"I can't even handle senior wizard apprentices, let alone a legendary knight. What a joke."
His body went limp, and he collapsed to the ground, turning to look at his wife, Gray, who was kneeling on the bed with a blank stare and lifeless eyes.
Night.
Four constructed puppets, each holding a lantern, surrounded Nina, walking towards the pitch-black forest ahead.
"Ruffle..."
The leaves rustled.
Nina paused, and the puppets floated around her.
"Come out!"
Nina turned her head:
"Louis, you're still the clan leader. There's no need to be so secretive, is there?"
"Heh..." A figure emerged from the swaying grass nearby, blending with the surroundings, and smiled faintly:
"After all, this isn't the Dream Marketplace. For me, the sense of security is always... a bit lacking."

"Hmph!" Nina scoffed:
"Cormac?"
"I'm here." A deep male voice came from above, followed by two figures landing:
"You two are early!"
Nina, Louis, and Cormac, the remaining leaders of the three major families from the Dream Marketplace, and the only three Late First-Ring Wizards, had all gathered here.
The three families were not on good terms, and could even be considered hostile to each other, their relationship already strained.
Now,
They were all together.
"I just arrived too."
Nina looked at the black-robed man beside Cormac and spoke cautiously:
"Who is this?"
"Let me introduce you." Cormac smiled and gestured to the man beside him:
"Galor!"
"Nightmare Galor!"
The man lifted the hood covering his head, revealing an ordinary face, and nodded to the two of them.
"Greetings."
"It's him!"
"The legendary Nightmare?"
Louis and Nina exchanged glances, both seeing the seriousness in each other's eyes, and subconsciously took a step back.
Nightmare!
The top-notch powerhouse among the Late First-Ring Wizards.
A well-known solitary wizard in the area, known for his mysterious, bizarre, and cruel nature, especially skilled in crafting dreams and invading others' inner seas of consciousness. It was rumored that he had silently killed a Second-Ring Wizard.
"You two don't need to be nervous. This time, I was invited by a friend from the Sixth Circle Tower to deal with Cannon."
Galor smiled:
"I need your assistance."
"Cannon?" Nina's beautiful eyes flashed:
"The Sixth Circle Tower isn't going to let him off the hook?"
Among those present, only she knew that the so-called 'Cannon' was actually Karl, a disciple of the Green Family of the Sixth Circle Tower.
However, whether it was 'Cannon' or 'Karl', they had offended the Green Family of the Sixth Circle Tower.
She decided to keep this secret for now.
"Of course!"
Cormac nodded:
"No one has ever gotten away with offending the Sixth Circle Tower. Cannon is no exception."
"But you're also aware that the commotion a few days ago was caused by a Second-Ring Wizard attempting to kill Cannon. However, due to the rules of the Dream Marketplace and the support of the Wizard Tower, they had to retreat."
The two nodded.
As bystanders, they were well aware of the terror of that commotion and were surprised that Karl had managed to hold his ground.
"The Dream Marketplace has a Third Circle domain force, which is indeed troublesome without the intervention of a Third Circle Wizard."
Nightmare Galor interjected:
"The Sixth Circle Tower has the power to forcefully raze the Dream Marketplace, but there's no need for that, so they asked me to handle it."
"I need to make contact with Cannon."
As long as he made contact with the person, or their target's clothing, hair, or blood, he could enter their dreams and kill them without a trace.
"Why should I help you?"
Nina spoke up first:
"This is a personal grudge between the Sixth Circle Tower and Cannon, which has nothing to do with us. Why invite trouble? If the operation fails, we'll face Cannon's retaliation."
"He's a Second Rank Holy Knight. How long has it been since a Holy Knight was born in the Magic Forest?"
Louis nodded lightly.
"Heh..." Cormac chuckled:
"I know you and Cannon are close, but you should think this through. Are you really going to go against the Sixth Circle Tower for him?"
"And..."
"We all know Cannon's strength. If we let him grow unchecked in the Marketplace, there might not be a place for our three families to survive."
"Exactly!" Louis stroked his chin:
"No one wants to give up the dream fragments, which directly point to the Third Circle... Cannon is no exception. He might have come to the Dream Marketplace for the dream fragments of our three families."
Nina's expression darkened.
