Belle's Father, who had been locked in the carriage, finally reconciled with his daughter. He decided to use his inventor's skills to unlock the door and save her.
But just as he took the hairpin from his daughter, he heard a young girl's voice from outside: "Alohomora."
Following the sound of metal clashing, the door opened. He was surprised to see a girl standing there who looked almost identical to his daughter when she was young.
"Belle?" he asked in surprise.
"No, this is Hermione, Hermione Granger. She's the Witch who came with me to help. I was just wondering where she had gone", Belle said, walking forward in her yellow evening gown.
"Right, I think we should hurry to the castle to warn the Beast. Father, you—"
"Don't worry. I'll be safe here on my own. You don't need to worry about me; they need you more."
Soon, a white horse set off from the town, carrying two girls who looked like sisters.
"Hope nothing goes wrong at the castle." x2
— This is the castle's dividing line —
Watching Hermione and Belle ride away, Liam began preparing for battle inside the castle. The biggest difference this time was that the opponents weren't entirely at fault, so he couldn't use many of his usual combat techniques.
"Little Qing, get ready in the Great Hall. When anyone comes in, control them, but remember not to hurt them. If anyone falls, wrap them up and move them to the side so they don't get trampled."
Following Liam's orders, Little Qing emerged from his pocket and quickly spread across the floor of the Great Hall. Soon, the floor was covered with a thick layer of red carpet.
"This is really bad luck. The System is repositioning and can't open the door to the emporium." Liam checked the bottles and vials he had with him. "I don't have enough spell materials, so I'll have to save them for critical moments."
As he finished preparing in the Great Hall, many pieces of furniture rushed in.
"Young Wizard, I'm sorry to involve you in this battle. You can find a place to hide if you want", Candelabrum Butler said, bowing to Liam.
"Thank you for your hospitality this week. I'll help you. I just hope my companions and Belle are safe on their way."
At that moment, the door was hit with a violent impact. It seemed the townspeople had arrived. Even though Piano Man and a few pieces of furniture were blocking the door, it was still shaking ominously.
"Are you a Wizard? Can you use Magic to make the door stronger?" Mrs. Potts asked Liam anxiously. Liam looked out the window at the flickering flames and shrugged helplessly.
"Strengthening the door isn't a problem, but my magic power isn't enough to protect the entire castle. Look, they have torches. What if they can't get in and start setting the house on fire?"
"Young Wizard is right", Candelabrum Butler said. "Blocking the door won't work. I have a plan."
He told everyone to pretend to be ordinary furniture and stand still. He also had Liam hide on the second floor.
With a loud crash, the door burst open, and a group of townspeople tumbled inside. After a few seconds, Mrs. Potts shouted, and the battle began.
"Dust of Slumber." Liam threw a glass vial filled with psychedelic mushroom spores to the ground and then waved his wand, chanting in Old Norse.
A cloud of colorful dust rushed down from the second floor, and most of the townspeople who came into contact with it became drowsy. They were quickly knocked down by their furniture opponents and then tied up and moved to the side by Little Qing. Little Qing also tripped a few more who looked drowsy.
Unfortunately, due to concerns about potential side effects, Liam had dialed down the power of his Magic to the minimum. As a result, the young and strong townspeople who came this time were not significantly affected. Soon, many of them charged forward, with three men wielding swords heading straight for Clock Manager.
"Disarm." Liam grabbed the slow-moving Clock and cast the spell at the sword-wielding men.
The swords flew into the air and landed to one side. At this moment, Wardrobe Lady rushed out and, dressed in women's clothing, scared the three men away.
"Thank you so much", Clock said gratefully to them. Liam then hid upstairs, disarming the townspeople below while using Magic to save some furniture from the townspeople's axes and clubs.
After a while, Liam felt the time was right. He reluctantly pulled out a pearl necklace he had found in the Plants vs. Zombies World, made of pearls the size of soybeans. He then pointed his wand at the necklace and cast "Mental Shock." As the spell was cast, the pearls on the necklace rapidly faded and weathered.
The townspeople, already fatigued from the battle and spells, were in low spirits. At this moment, Candelabrum Butler ignited some gunpowder. Under Liam's Magic, the townspeople seemed to see demons engulfed in flames and dragons spewing fire, and they fled in terror.
"Yes, that's right, all of you, out, out." The furniture began to drive the townspeople away. Liam felt someone pass by him, but when he scanned the area, he saw no one.
"It seems the Witch has arrived, and the story is nearing its end", Liam thought, immediately understanding what was happening.
At that moment, the sound of hooves came from the entrance. Belle and Hermione had returned.
Belle rushed through the door and raced up the stairs. Hermione followed closely behind, asking, "What's the situation now?"
"I held off many of them, but it seems Gaston made it upstairs."
"What should we do now?" Hermione asked quickly.
"West Tower, we need to go to the West Tower. I think they will all return to this place no matter what." Liam finished speaking and ran upstairs with Hermione.
Perhaps because the Curse was about to activate, various parts of the castle began to collapse. In several places, the stairs were gone, and Liam had to carry Hermione and use a Grapple Hook to pull them both up.
Even so, while crossing one of the stairs, the Grapple Hook suddenly snapped from the column it was hooked on. Fortunately, they used a Slow Fall Spell, allowing Liam to throw the Grapple Hook again in time and avoid falling from a height of five stories. Even so, Liam's hands were cut by the jagged rocks as he grabbed them to stabilize himself.
When they reached the West Tower, they saw Beast hit by a bullet, with Belle struggling to support him and dodge. Behind them, on the bridge, Gaston raised his pistol again.
"Iron Armor." Two spells struck Beast simultaneously, protecting him from the final shot. Gaston fell as the stone bridge beneath him collapsed.
However, Beast was already gravely injured from the previous battle and the two bullet wounds. Meanwhile, Liam realized the most critical issue: the Curse had been activated.
