Chapter 203: Transform into Dragon
Wagner’s eyes transformed into a black corridor lined with jagged teeth, his gaze like a bottomless abyss, drawing victims into infinite darkness.
Another Sixth Circle Spell—the same one that had instantly killed Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang.
【Soul-Stealing Gaze】
Stuffed Bun recognized the spell instantly, panic flaring in his chest. He shouted urgently:
“Get out of the way! Don’t look into his eyes!”
The three players acted with instinctive默契, scattering in different directions—dodging, breaking free, leaving Wagner no chance to unleash the spell.
“Oh? So you’ve met my Fragmented Soul before,” Wagner murmured, slightly surprised. Then, with casual indifference, he tapped the Dragon Cult insignia on his chest.
As his fingers struck the emblem, pulses of eerie light rippled outward like waves across the ground—inescapable, relentless. The glowing waves converged, etching a massive sigil onto the earth: a single, staring eye that swallowed everything within its reach.
【Mark of Fear】
This was another Sixth Circle Spell!
Trapped within the spell’s radius, the three players instantly fell into a state of paralyzing panic. They froze mid-flight, their bodies trembling uncontrollably, as if confronted by some unspeakable horror. Their minds had been seized by visions too terrible to bear.
“Come out, my loyal hounds. Bring me these intruders.”
“I can smell Dragon Blood.”
Wagner snapped his fingers.
At his command, several iron cages lining the darkness burst open. From the shadows came a cacophony—barking, snarling, yet laced with the thunderous power of a Dragon’s roar.
Five or six Dragonized Canine Demons emerged—each over five meters long. Drool hung from their jaws, tongues lolling, jagged teeth bared like knives. Their triangular eyes glowed with a cold, feral light, their gaze wild, uncontainable, radiating primal strength.
Their bodies were massive, built like living tanks—muscle piled upon muscle, forged from iron. Sparse scales covered their fur, caked in dried bloodstains, and their stench was enough to make one gag.
“My precious pets… haven’t had a meal in ages.”
“But first, I must study them. Then I’ll reward them with the leftovers—such a rare specimen, I can’t waste it.”
Wagner didn’t flinch at the sticky, viscous fluids dripping from their muzzles. Instead, he affectionately stroked the monstrous flank of one beast, whispering in fluent Dragon Tongue into its ear:
“Capture them alive.”
“Woo-oooh!”
The Demon howled in ecstasy.
On their master’s orders, they charged forward like rabid beasts—snarling, foaming, fur and scales bristling, eyes blood-red, teeth flashing. They pursued the three players who had barely escaped their initial panic.
Wagner added, voice dripping with false kindness:
“Make sure they’re alive—though losing an arm or a leg is perfectly acceptable.”
Hearing that, the creatures erupted into frenzied excitement, howling as they lunged forward—determined to tear everything apart.
Stuffed Bun fled with all his might—but two legs couldn’t outrun four. The canine demon leapt like a spring, clearing more than fifty meters in a single bound. Its massive claw slammed down, pinning Stuffed Bun to the ground. Hot, rancid breath and thick saliva sprayed across his face, making his skin crawl.
“Holy hell… what the fuck is that thing?!”
On the other side, Singo dodged and rolled, zigzagging through the battlefield—narrowly avoiding every lunge. But soon, two more demons cut him off from different angles. Trapped, he could only stand still, bracing himself, terrified of being torn apart limb by limb.
“Haaah!”
Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang roared, summoning a burst of strength that ripped one of the demon’s claws from his body.
But the beast merely snorted. Muscles bulged beneath its hide—its sheer mass, weighing tons, came crashing down. The force was overwhelming. The demon pinned Tian Sheng Zhan Kuang to the ground with a single press, leaving no room for resistance.
The Dragonized Canine Demons dragged their captives back to Wagner’s side, their snarls twisted into grins of eager submission.
Wagner studied his prey with a hungry gaze.
“Excellent… perfect.”
“The Fragmented Soul was right. This bloodline… it’s truly different. The blood of a Red Dragon.”
He leaned down, fixing Stuffed Bun with a stare.
“Tell me… what happened when I left my Fragmented Soul behind? What did he see… in his final moments?”
Stuffed Bun refused to meet his eyes. He shut them tight.
“Now!”
Singo’s voice rang out from afar.
With one hand, he yanked open a shock grenade he’d been preparing. A blinding flash erupted, accompanied by a deafening tremor—so intense it staggered even the demons.
Seizing the moment, Singo broke free from the beast’s grip. He hurled the syringe filled with Dragon Essence like a dart—straight at Stuffed Bun.
“Swoosh!”
The needle pierced skin, sank deep into flesh. The essence—infused with ancestral dragon strength—flooded into his veins, merging with his existing Red Dragon bloodline. The fusion triggered an explosive reaction.
“GROOOOAAARRRR!”
Stuffed Bun screamed, head thrown back in agony and ecstasy.
Whether due to the Player’s Dataization or the unique gift of Kai Xiusu’s Bloodline, the once-irreconcilable clash between Red and White Dragon bloodlines didn’t reject each other. Instead, they fused—their magical essence spiraling upward, transcending, evolving into something far greater.
A torrent of new information flooded Stuffed Bun’s Character Sheet:
[You have accepted the special item: Diluted Ancestral Dragon Essence]
[Your Dragon Bloodline has been enhanced]
[You have unlocked the Bloodline Ascension Effect]
[You have gained a unique ability: Transform into Dragon]
[You may, at the cost of your life, transform into Young Dragon Form—lasting three minutes]
[Note: Upon resurrection, you will return to your original form. To unlock this form again, you must spend life points anew.]
Stuffed Bun’s body writhed in transformation. The raw power of his Bloodline tore through him—his upright frame collapsing into a four-legged stance. His tail burst from his spine. Wing bones protruded from his back, tearing through his skin. New, bloody membranes unfurled—raw, pulsing, alive.
Now, burning through every last drop of his life force, having ascended beyond his mortal limits, he stood before them—a true young dragon.
The newly transformed Stuffed Bun let out a raw, instinctive roar. Inside, he thought:
“Holy shit… I’m invincible now!”
The young dragon twisted his body, muscles flexing with dragon-born power. He easily broke free from the stunned demons that had been holding him.
“Ruuuaaah!”
“I’m a dragon now!”
“Die, you old bastard who experiments on your own daughter!”
With clumsy, untrained movements, the dragon charged forward—wings flapping, claws slashing, jaws snapping—straight at Wagner, the Black Robe Mage.
Wagner barely moved. He simply looked up—his eyes wide, not with fear, but with awe. As if he’d just found a priceless artifact.
“Finally…”
“A masterpiece…”
“I… I must have it.”
He stared, transfixed, as the young dragon lunged toward him—his voice trembling with obsession, with madness. The intensity in his gaze chilled the air.
