Chapter 2 Lorenzo {Awakening}

"Son wake up," a woman with golden brown hair said while she shook her son who was only six years old he rolled around his bed and waved his hand as if this doesn't matter to him.

"Five more minutes."

"No you said that twenty minutes go do you want to miss your awakening day?" The woman asked the small boy with fair white skin, black hair, deep grayish bluish eyes stared his mother before he yawned and shook his head gently.

"No ma, I want to sleep more," the boy said.

"Lorenzo Akash Beaufort if you don't get up now this mother of yours will beat you up endlessly," the woman said.

Lorenzo sat up so fast and jumped off his bed he rushed to the bathroom and he closed the bathroom door. He was only six years old and he had an older sister named Jose Beaufort, but since she didn't want to become the heir to the Beaufort Family it all came down to him. The Beaufort Family are most known in the Sky Ake City. They are four other great houses within this city but the Beaufort Family are known for three things making money, creating magic tools, and having powerful spirit warrior masters. His mother is a stay home mom who just wants to take care of her two kids and her husband is someone who puts his work into research but also fights demons when portal is open.

The woman Taylor grabbed her son hand as they walked out together both mother and son stared at each other and Taylor knelt down as she gently smiled and touched her chin and then kissed her son head.

"Today awakening will cantina two types of awakening first is your spirit powers which can be put into terms beast form which will be part of your body or a spirit tool which isn't part of your body. Let me explain how that works,Martial Souls, or Spirits, is a type of power possessed by humans. It is said that everyone has their own martial soul, among which a very small number of people's martial souls can be cultivated, forming a profession called soul master. The most expensive profession in the whole continent is the soul master. At the Martial Soul Awakening Ceremony at age 6, everyone received their martial souls and their soul power. Only people who have soul power can be cultivated to become soul masters. The soul power level determines the level at which the training will start and is ranked from 1 to 10. As long as a person has at least rank one soul power when their martial soul is awakened, they can train their martial soul. On some rare occasions, the essence has already reached the highest level when the martial soul first awakens," Taylor said and she sat inside the car and the driver nodded his head as the car started to fly.

"Beast-type Martial Soul, the power of the 'beast' within the Martial Soul is added to the user's own body, resulting in a fusion effect. After reaching level 30 in Martial Soul cultivation, the transformation of a Beast-type Soul Master's body during Martial Soul fusion becomes greater than before because Beast-type Soul Masters' bodies are generally extremely robust. "Ma, you said there are two types of awakening."

"Yes the next is martial lzike spirits, these can be anything from weapons, spirit, element, protector you never know but marital lzike spirits are awaken after you awaken your marital soul, martial lzike spirits appear behind the users or beside the user if they want. Marital lzike spirits are hard to upgrade but when they reach level they can have there own mind and also there owner fight in battles, you have seen your sister marital lzike is known as the Warrior Angel of War when she awaken it was already a level 8 making her a genius do you understand me?"

"Yes ma I understand! I got this ma, no matter what I want to protect the family as well."

Taylor smiled.

"My son is sweet it doesn't matter what you wish for mom will do everything in her power to protect you."

A beautiful girl who was about thirteen to twelve years old was swinging her sword straight forward her eyes were deep hazel while her hair flowed down into a ponytail she killed one of the illusion monster that she trains with every single day when she isn't in school.

"Jose, do you want to do a mission with us?" A group of people asked her and she stared at them indifferently and cold before she shook her head and smiled brightly.

"Today is a big day and I don't have the time to do that," Jose said she turn around and started to walk away one of her best friend Fiona rushed toward her.

"Who is so important to you that you will not agree to go to this kind of mission that is rare?"

"My baby brother is awakening today, of course as his older sister I must be there for him and I want to see who will dare make fun of my brother when I am around," Jose said her eyes glowed and she ran straight out with a huge smile. She loves her brother far to much she got inside the car and told them to go to Red Mountain Academy.

"Young Miss, you seem happy today."

"I am Uncle Joe my brother is awakening today it's a huge deal his the apple of our family anyone who wants to harm him, well it won't be a pretty sight to see," Jose said she got out of the car and she put on her hat as she walked forward she was famous in Sky Ake City while she sat down she looked around for her brother where is little bro where is he she frowned deeply someone taped her back and she grabbed the person.

"Touch me again I break you hand!" Jose snapped and pushed the guy away with force. Her eyes lit up when she saw her brother but she just sat there let's let him relax it's not good to be stressed out. She remembers her awakening day the best gift she has ever had was her baby brother. She didn't care she became the number one genius no because she had a baby brother and she was so happy.

Three hours later

"Number 1209, number 1209, number 1209 please to door number 18, please come to door number 18."

Lorenzo was laying his head on his mother lap finally his number was called up. Lorenzo hopped up he held his mother hand and both walked straight toward the door and a woman stepped out she held out her hand as she walked forward they walked inside room. Red Mountain Academy was known as a private school for school with spirit powers. They always did the test it's best if you apply for a day you want to do your awakening if Taylor didn't do that they would have had to wait much longer then three hours.

"Mrs. Beaufort please wait out here."

"Alright son be careful and be strong alright?"

"Ma, don't worry I am a big boy now."

"You got this son," Taylor said.

Footsteps were heard and Jose poked her head out.

"Ma!"

"Jose not training today."

"No and Ma, how will brother do?"

"I am not sure but he will be fine I believe in him."

Jose nodded her head and smiled brightly.
