Chapter 2 : (Earthquack Point Zero and the beginning)
Crives, a Russian spy and was one of the deadliest assassins in the world. After completing a mission, he took a short break and traveled with his family to Gaborone, the capital of Botswana in Southern Africa. The country is located in the Kalahari Desert, surrounded by Namibia, Angola, Zambia, and South Africa.
Underneath Gaborone, Crives had a secret base—a small effort to keep his family safe. His wife, Lina, and their only son, Rio, were with him. It was Rio’s sixteenth birthday, and they were happily celebrating. But suddenly, something felt wrong.
Crives noticed the ground shaking. He checked the sensors. No time to waste! Right in front of him, a huge crack opened in the ground with a terrifying rumble. They rushed out. Outside, they rubbed their eyes in disbelief. All the tall buildings nearby had collapsed into dust. So much destruction in just a few moments.
That earthquake shook the entire world. The next day, Crives found out the quake had started in Antarctica. It caused deep trenches in the Indian Ocean. Some countries in Asia and Africa were badly damaged. Cracks appeared on Egypt’s pyramids, Machu Picchu in Peru was ruined, the Eiffel Tower was unstable, and a giant rift opened in Russia’s Andes mountains. Even Mount Everest saw the biggest snow avalanche in history. Volcano Kilimanjaro, which had been quiet for centuries, started to erupt. Millions died.
This earthquake was unlike anything the world had ever seen. It was later called “Earthquake Point Zero.”
Because he was close to the area, Crives was ordered to travel to Antarctica. His journey began from South Africa and was planned to take a month.
Yet the earthquake meant more than just a natural disaster. But some being called it “The Great Catastrophe” for a different reason. It destroyed 45% of Antarctica’s ice land. But deep inside, something else was hidden. Something no one understood yet.
The day after the earthquake, two secret meetings were held—one in Washington, D.C., and the other in Moscow. In Washington, the U.S. President Sam Riguard, the head of the military Muke, and some unknown faces were present. These were powerful people—so powerful that even the President hesitated to ask them questions.
In Moscow, a similar meeting took place. The Russian President Vlyus Jin attended, along with others who held more power than him. In both rooms, the mood was strange—almost happy. As if they had finally been freed from something. Now, the world was theirs to control.
In Washington’s meeting, a masked man with glowing red eyes spoke:
“From now on, we will rule the world. But we need to clear our path and destroy the man's legacy.”
President Sam nervously asked,
“Sir, don’t you think we should follow some kind of protocol? What if things suddenly go wrong again? And we also need to restore the world.”
The man on the throne-like chair leaned forward and said with a cold face :
“We are Entities. From now on we will make the rules. We won’t follow rules.”
After a year from "The Great Catastrophe",
But even after a year, Crives never came back. After 25 days at sea, all contact with him was lost. His wife Lina took Rio and moved to Tokyo, Japan. There, Rio grew up under the care of his mother, who was a school teacher. Though he missed his father, his mother’s love helped him heal and find peace.
From a very young age, Rio was far more intelligent than most.
He had a sharp mind and a natural ability to solve problems using logic and clever thinking. Because of this, he had earned many achievements throughout his life.
But now, something strange and unexplainable was approaching—a mystery with no clear solution.
That morning began like any other peaceful day.
Rio was spending some quiet, happy time with his mother, Lina. But that peace did not last long. A loud explosion shattered everything.
Their beautiful, tidy home was now reduced to ruins.
Wounded and in pain, Rio slowly opened his eyes, struggling to move.
In front of him stood some dark, masked figures.
And beside them… was the lifeless, bloodied body of his mother.
Rio tried to call out to her, but his voice was too weak.
One of the masked figures raised a blade—and right before Rio’s eyes, they split his mother’s body in two. Another figure stepped forward and pushed their hand deep into her broken body. A horrible sound followed. Blood poured out.
From her torn stomach, the figure pulled out a glowing green stone. Rio’s half-dead body couldn't move, but two silent tears rolled down his cheeks. His eyelids slowly closed again, heavy with grief and pain.
