Chapter 195: I Can Spirit-Smith
Chapter 195: I Can Spirit-Smith
With the class monitor and assistant class monitor decided, the class held another election for the remaining 'committee' positions.
The roles of the blacksmith and designer had already been secured by Wang Si and Na'er, leaving only two positions up for competition.
Na Li and Wuisuo, the girl with the self-fusion martial soul technique, were chosen!
Out of the seven class officers, only four were selected, and it must be said that the others were truly lacking in comparison.
Since these four were the class officers, the teacher arranged their seats from left to right: Na'er, Wang Si, Na Li, and Wuisuo.
To give the student committee members a chance to showcase their abilities, the teacher simply explained some of the rules and regulations of Shrek Academy before leaving.
They wouldn't reappear until noon when school ended.
Leaving the students to their own devices made things much simpler.
"Come on, come on, if anyone feels that my previous victory was unfair, feel free to challenge me offline. I won't hold back, and you'll bear the consequences," Wang Si said, turning around and sitting on the desk, facing the other students.
The students of Class One looked at each other, unsure what to make of their class monitor wanting to fight with another student on the first day.
Seeing no response, Wang Si nodded silently.
"Not a single brave soul? No one wants to gather a group of fifteen or twenty classmates to ambush me after school and teach me a lesson?" he prodded.
Some students exchanged glances at his words, unsure how to react.
"Listen up, this is Shrek Academy, a sacred place in the eyes of all Soul Masters. This isn't a gang or some underworld organization, so don't try to manage your fellow students with those kinds of tactics," Wuisuo said, addressing the class monitor directly.
A quarrel between the vice class monitor and the class monitor? Bring on the drama!
The students straightened up in their seats, eager to witness the unfolding scene.
Hearing Wuisuo's words, Wang Si glanced at Na Li, who immediately understood and quietly took Wang Si's original seat.
Wang Si then moved to sit next to Wuisuo.
Wuisuo glared at Wang Si, wondering what he was up to.
Wang Si simply placed his hand on Wuisuo's neck, causing her to furrow her brows in confusion.
She didn't understand what this guy in front of her was trying to do.
A crisp crack sounded from her neck, and Wuisuo's body trembled involuntarily as she reached for her neck.
She couldn't forget the feeling of her head falling towards the ground, nor the sickening crack that had echoed from her neck.
As Wuisuo trembled, Wang Si took the opportunity to pull her into his embrace. He then turned to face the class.
The students were thrilled by the drama of seeing their class monitor pull Wuisuo into his lap, but as soon as Wang Si turned around, the atmosphere changed.
Their class monitor was now speaking to them while casually choking Wuisuo with one hand and supporting himself on the desk with the other.
Wuisuo's face had turned purple from the lack of air.
"You said this isn't the underworld, right? Well, here at Shrek Academy, strength is what matters. Tell me, how did you get into this academy? How did you secure your position in this class? It's because you defeated one opponent after another, isn't that right?
The only difference is that you did it in a special space where death isn't permanent, so you think this isn't like a gang or the underworld?" Wang Si said, his playful gaze sweeping over the students.
Wuisuo's face was flushed red, and she wanted to speak, but Wang Si's grip on her neck prevented her from doing so.
"Class monitor, you should probably let go now. The vice class monitor is turning purple," Na Li said.
"Brave of you. As a reward, come and give her CPR, or mouth-to-mouth resuscitation if you prefer."
The student who had spoken turned bright red.
"Come on, she's turning purple. Your vice class monitor is dying here," Wang Si teased. But the student remained seated, not moving an inch.
Wang Si looked around at the others. "Anyone? Not a single brave soul to save your vice class monitor? Looks like I'll have to take matters into my own hands."
With that, Wang Si released Wuisuo's neck and proceeded to demonstrate his version of "mouth-to-mouth resuscitation" and "CPR" on her.
"That's enough! This is an academy, not a place for you to harass others!" A student who had been watching in disbelief could no longer contain himself and stood up, slamming his hand on the desk.
Unfazed, Wang Si continued his "life-saving" efforts, even though Wuisuo was clearly conscious and not in need of resuscitation.
"This is outrageous! My father's third uncle's son-in-law is in the Angel Legion. If you continue to act so arrogantly in Shrek, you won't make it out of these school gates alive!" the student threatened.
Hearing this, Wang Si burst out laughing. "Come now, who else got in through connections? Let's see them. It'll be an eye-opener for the rest of the class."
The classroom fell silent for a moment before several students stood up.
Wang Si nodded slightly, then turned to Wuisuo, who had remained silent, and gave her a light pat.
"Your turn. While you're at it, you can tell them about my background."
Wuisuo reluctantly spoke up, but instead of introducing herself, she revealed Wang Si's identity.
Upon hearing Wang Si's identity, the class fell into stunned silence.
Wang Si surveyed the class with a playful look in his eyes, well aware that some of them were not surprised by his identity.
Clearly, there were still some truly wealthy students who had chosen to remain silent.
"Out of over a hundred students, quite a few of you got in through connections. I wonder if some of you are disappointed that your vision of this sacred place has been shattered?" Wang Si commented, his eyes scanning the room.
Some students remained silent, while others eagerly inspected their classmates, curious to see who among them had relied on connections.
"Well, now you know my background and my strength. I think you all know what to do next, no need for me to spell it out," Wang Si said, sounding bored as he played with the Level 4 Forging Master badge.
"This badge is fake," he declared, causing some students to look shocked while others wore expressions that seemed to say, "As expected."
Wang Si casually tossed Wuisuo back into her seat and a pair of golden wings unfurled from his back.
The other students were confused by this display, but one student's shocked expression made it clear that they understood the significance of what they were seeing.
"These wings are part of my battle armor. As you can see, they are not part of my martial soul; they are separate from it. And these are Word Soul Armor wings, forged from Spirit Forging Metal," Wang Si explained, extending his thumb to point at himself.
"For this metal to be so compatible with me, can you guess who the forger might be? It takes real skill, and you don't really think Shrek would let me get away with such nonsense, do you?"
