"For the next few days, we won't be taking on any missions," Mu Yue announced to her disciples, including Tobirama and Kakashi. "Instead, we'll focus on cultivating and improving our strength."
With the decreasing rewards from D-rank missions and the recent acquisition of the powerful Armed Dominating Aura, Mu Yue decided it was time for her students to concentrate on their training.

"Is it the fire jutsu that you used before, Teacher Mu Yue?" Tobirama's interest was immediately piqued.

Tobirama's interest waned a little, but he was still excited. After all, Mu Yue said 'you,' so he assumed that he would be able to learn it too.
"A secret technique," Kakashi murmured, picking up on the key word in Mu Yue's statement.
A secret technique was a highly confidential jutsu, and those that were considered secret were usually quite extraordinary. After all, if it wasn't powerful, there would be no need for secrecy.

As the tree Yahiko had been punching fell to the ground with a loud crash, Kakashi's pupils contracted slightly.
"Is Yahiko's strength really that great?" Kakashi wondered, trying to recall any related memories from their time in the Academy but coming up empty.
Unlike the surprised Kakashi, Tobirama had become somewhat accustomed to such displays, and he now found them normal.
"Good morning, Yahiko," Tobirama greeted Yahiko with a goofy smile.
"That was pretty youthful!" Might Guy exclaimed, giving Yahiko a thumbs up.
"Your progress is good, but there are still many areas that can be improved," Mu Yue nodded and then proceeded to give Yahiko some pointers.
Yahiko listened intently, quickly forming mental images of what Mu Yue was explaining, and then visualizing herself performing the brute strength technique in her mind. Many of the points that had confused her before now made sense.
Kakashi, witnessing this exchange, wore a thoughtful expression.
From the beginning, he had found it odd that Itachi addressed Mu Yue as 'Teacher.' While it wasn't unusual for her to be called that since she was a teacher at the Ninja Academy, the presence of two of her shadow clones made the situation peculiar.
It didn't make sense to send two shadow clones ahead to scout for a training location within the village, as the training grounds were usually predetermined and not decided on a whim.
Seeing how adept Mu Yue was at instructing Yahara, coupled with Yahara's response, Kakashi's confusion dissipated.
Itachi and Yahara were likely Mu Yue's additional disciples, which explained why she had brought them along for their cultivation session.
Kakashi's curiosity led him to speculate further, wondering if Obito and Might Guy were also secret disciples of Mu Yue, explaining their rapid improvement.
After all, they were all students at the Ninja Academy, and perhaps Mu Yue had taken a liking to them and decided to teach them.
"Itachi, pause your training for now. I'm going to teach you a secret technique today," Mu Yue said, interrupting Itachi's cultivation.
Itachi, who had already activated his Sharingan, found his training in Yin Release augmented by the power of his dojutsu.
Itachi immediately halted his practice and made his way over to Mu Yue's main body.
As for Yahara, Mu Yue didn't plan on teaching her the Dominating Aura just yet. Once she had made sufficient progress in those areas, she would be ready to learn the Dominating Aura.

The other three disciples watched intently, their eyes fixed on the kunai and Mu Yue's arm.

"Use all your strength this time," Mu Yue instructed.
Itachi nodded and gripped the kunai with both hands, putting all his might behind the next strike. The previous attempt had shown him the prowess of Mu Yue's secret technique, and he was now eager to test its limits.

A metallic clang rang out, and the force of the impact caused Itachi's hands to tremble slightly. It was clear to everyone that Itachi had put considerable power into that strike.
As their gazes returned to Mu Yue's arm, they found it unchanged. The smooth, black surface even reflected the sunlight, unmarred by any sign of the recent attack.
"Now, infuse it with chakra and use the Full Concentration Breathing Technique as well.
With the boost from the breathing technique, Kakashi further enhanced his hand chakra and finally thrust his hand toward Mu Yue's arm with full force.

Before they could see if Mu Yue's arm was injured, the sharp end of Kakashi's kunai suddenly snapped and fell to the ground.
"That defensive power is too strong!" Obito exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief as he stared at Mu Yue's arm, which remained untouched.
He thought that if this technique could cover the entire body, it would be incredibly safe during battles, and one wouldn't have to worry about getting injured.
Might Guy understood why Mu Yue had said that he must learn this secret technique.
If he mastered it, he wouldn't need to learn how to use weapons; he could just fight with the Armed Dominating Aura and his bare hands.
Kakashi's eyes flickered, and he recalled Mu Yue's initial statement about simultaneously enhancing defense and offense. He was curious about the attack demonstration that was about to follow.

The first time he had seen Kakashi was when he was out walking with Obito and Rin. Obito had told him that Kakashi was a genius beyond himself.
Initially, Kakashi hadn't taken Obito's words to heart, after all, they had come from Obito.
But now, after witnessing Kakashi's fire technique, he couldn't deny that Kakashi was indeed an exceptional genius, and it was hard to say if he was more or less talented than himself.
As the fireballs hurtled toward him, Mu Yue immediately unleashed his chakra, causing the Armed Dominating Aura to envelop his entire body, turning it pitch-black.

However, Kakashi had expected to see some changes on Mu Yue's body, such as some marks left on the black substance.
But in reality, there were absolutely no changes to Mu Yue's body, and even his clothes remained undamaged when he dispelled the Armed Dominating Aura.
This was a fire technique that combined the sharpness of shuriken with the high temperatures of flames, and Kakashi thought that if it hit a normal person, it would probably blow them to pieces.
