Chapter 186: Tian Dao: Watch closely—this is the true 'The Dreamer'
What is Coalescence?
For most Stellar Prodigies, this question remains a mystery. But Tian Dao already had the answer in his heart long before he ever obtained the Stellar Source.
After all, Coalescence, in simple terms, is the complete fusion and symbiosis between the Stellar Core and the Stellar Source—their strengths merging into one.
Take Liu Ma, for example, whose body splits into a bull above and a horse below—an elementary form of Coalescence.
Or Chen Xing, who transformed her Red Lotus Inferno into Xueyan, then reversed it, turning the blood back into energy to replenish her life force—using only Stellar Energy.
In theory, as long as her Stellar Energy remains, and her body isn’t struck at a vital point, regrowing severed limbs is nothing more than routine for her.
So then—what is Tian Dao’s Coalescence?
The answer is simple: Stellar Energy imbued with Vector Control.
Ever since acquiring Vector Control, Tian Dao fused that ability with the near-perfect Stellar Energy observation and Stellar Energy manipulation granted by the Star-Eclipse Eye. This fusion fundamentally transformed his Stellar Energy at its very core.
On the surface, his Coalescence merely enhanced his Stellar Energy flow speed and usage efficiency.
But when you layer that with Tian Dao’s six S+ attributes—his already absurdly overpowered stat panel—the result is nothing short of terrifying.
He doesn’t need complex techniques or flashy moves. Just raw, basic stat dominance is enough to crush opponents of equal or even higher rank.
And people like him? We call them number monsters.
---
“Let’s play a game,”
Tian Dao suddenly said, raising three fingers toward the distant Bai Kong, his eyes gleaming with quiet confidence in the gaze of the Dimensional Audience.
“Three strikes. If you can block all three of my attacks, I won’t force you to leave. In fact, I’ll help you take over Little Kong’s body—free you completely. How about that?”
…Huh?
Chen Kong was stunned. Wait—dude, you wanna play games, fine. But why does I end up paying the price if you lose?!
Tian Dao merely arched a brow at him, that smug, lazy smirk saying “Trust me, I’ve got this.”
No chance for Chen Kong to object.
Before he could even react, Bai Kong’s voice rang out from afar:
“Fine. Three strikes? I’ll laugh if it’s thirty. Or three hundred.”
“Perfect,” Tian Dao said, grinning.
The two sealed the deal—leaving Chen Kong utterly bewildered and completely out of the loop, the one who’d inevitably get hurt.
The Dimensional Audience watched, utterly exasperated.
“Lao Kong: This is a two-person match, yet I’m the only one getting wrecked?”
“Three again? I’m starting to think these Stellar Prodigies have a real obsession with the number three.”
“Damn it—Final Evaluation’s still chasing me.”
With the bet set, Tian Dao slipped his hands into his pockets and vanished.
One second, he was there.
The next, he stood above Bai Kong’s head.
“First strike.”
No flashy techniques. No buildup. Just a single, straight kick.
Yet that unassuming blow tore through the air with a crackling roar, a black flash erupting from impact.
Bai Kong instantly raised his Black Star, blocking head-on.
But in an instant, his expression twisted.
The blade—his Black Star—bent, visibly warping under the force.
Tian Dao’s kick wasn’t just powerful. It channeled raw Stellar Energy directly through the blade into Bai Kong’s body, sending him flying backward—his entire frame convulsing, blood surging in his veins.
No time to recover.
As Bai Kong was still mid-air, Tian Dao reappeared above him again, grinning.
“Second strike.”
A brutal leg axe descended.
With the black flash enhancing every inch of motion, the move looked deceptively simple—but it was devastating.
Bai Kong tried to block with Black Star, but the blade shattered mid-block, and the force split his body in half—like a bent shrimp.
Even the weapon cracked.
Boom!
Bai Kong crashed into the water, sending up a plume over ten meters high.
But then—after those two strikes—Tian Dao simply stopped.
He stood suspended in midair, arms crossed, eyes scanning the surface like he was waiting for something.
The Dimensional Audience soon understood.
As the water settled, a monstrous figure emerged.
Half of its body wrapped in bone, a cracked, skeletal horn jutting from its forehead—this was no longer the original Bai Kong.
This was the aftermath of a near-fatal blow.
Bai Kong looked up at Tian Dao, voice low and venomous:
“Tian Dao Siming… I’ll admit, you’re strong. But if I’m not mistaken, you’re just a ghost—running on Chen Kong’s Stellar Energy, aren’t you?”
“After all, the Stellar Source that sustains this projection… it’s his ‘The Dreamer’.”
“Don’t bother lying. I can feel it—he’s losing Stellar Energy fast. We both can.”
Tian Dao shrugged nonchalantly, unfazed.
“So what? It’s more than enough to deal with you.”
Bai Kong let out a harsh laugh.
After a moment, he lifted his gaze to the sky, eyes burning with defiance.
“Two strikes down. I don’t care how strong you are—I won’t fall to your final one!”
Tian Dao smiled.
And that smile—just one small twitch of the lips—sent a chill through Bai Kong’s bones.
Something was wrong.
He knew he was missing something.
His mind raced, searching for that one fatal detail he’d overlooked.
Then—his face froze.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
“You finally get it,” Tian Dao said, a faint smirk playing on his lips.
“Yes. I may look like a memory from six years ago—just a projection. But in truth… I now possess something I didn’t have back then.”
Bai Kong’s expression darkened.
He understood.
The root of the problem.
Tian Dao didn’t respond. He simply looked up at the star-strewn sky above.
“And that thing…”
He whispered, almost reverently,
“…is the special power known as The Dreamer.”
At his words, a colossal meteor—vast enough to blot out the stars—slowly tore through the heavens, descending toward the world below.
“Watch closely, Kong,” Tian Dao said, voice echoing across the void.
“This is what the true ‘The Dreamer’ looks like.”
“After all, the meaning of Kong… is infinite.”
Bai Kong, already pinned beneath the sheer pressure of the falling celestial body, struggled to move even a finger.
Tian Dao smiled down at him.
“Come on, Bai Kong. Show me what you’ve got… to stop my fantasy—unleashed from the sky.”
And with that, the meteor—like a god’s hammer—crashed down with the force of annihilation.
