"Luffy!"
Though Klah's weapon had shattered, his limbs remained intact. As he watched Luffy charge forward, he met the attack head-on.
"Superspeed Shave!"
His speed surged, leaving afterimages as he dashed toward Luffy. Raising his finger, he unleashed a Fishman Karate strike.
Hiss!
A painful cry escaped Luffy as the finger pierced his shoulder, spraying blood.
"Tch! Dodged my heart strike, huh? That was my target", Klah muttered, retracting his finger before aiming another thrust at Luffy's chest.
"Ballet Boxing!"
A voice suddenly rang out. A blur materialized between them, and Klah's head snapped backward as if struck by an invisible force. Pain exploded in his chest as he flew backward dozens of meters.
Landing steadily, Klah rubbed his reddening jaw while glaring at the figure now shielding Luffy. "That one..."
The newcomer wore prison garb with green eye shadow, striking a defiant pose. "You won't lay hands on Luffy, ya know!"
"I remember you." Klah tilted his chin. "You're from Arabasta too? But how'd you get this speed?"
The answer stood before him - Crocodile's subordinate, Mr.2.
"Surprised by my swiftness?"
Von Clay spun like a swan, his rotation accelerating unnaturally fast. "Could it be... you're using Acceleration?"
Von Clay extended three fingers, winking mischievously. "Little Frank gave me triple speed! Isn't it blazing fast, ya know?"
"Frank?"
Klah blinked, startled. He'd heard that name before. "The 98-million-Belly pirate, 'Lightning-Quick Frank'?"
"Who says '98 million'?"
Bang!
Gunfire slammed into Klah's chest as he shouted "Iron Body!" and braced himself. The lead bullet ricocheted, scattering sparks.
From ahead, pirates emerged, their leader holding a smoking pistol. "I'm 'Crazy Frank' now! A paltry bounty can't define my threat to the Navy! The Marine Headquarters should reassess my danger!"
"Right! Frank Officer ambushed warships guarded by Admirals and Garp himself! Who could rival that power?"
"Crazy talk! Frank's just a nobody compared to real elites like Buggy!"
"Frank became infamous for challenging Navy forces! He's Kaido-tier! Only Three Admirals and Garp/Sengoku could match him!"
Kas froze mid-battle, then roared, "Don't forget our idol - Kuro Mr.! Even Whitebeard feared him before you lot arrived! Though he's just a commander now, he'll become an Admiral someday! Compared to you, even Whitebeard and Kaido are inferior to our Kuro Mr.!"
"Pirate heroes!"
"Legends!"
"Kuro Mr. is your true nemesis!"
Pirates clashed with pirates while Navy held their ground. Three factions formed a triangular stalemate, each side boasting their chosen hero.
Klah smirked silently, slipping away to pursue Luffy. Staying longer meant getting either killed or deafened by the endless shouting.
