"Marco, are you alright?!"
Other squad captains rushed over and helped Marco up.
"Haha..." Marco gasped heavily as he was supported upright. "I'm fine. Just be careful not to get touched by that woman. She's drained a lot of my energy."
He hadn't been seriously injured by the initial impact since he still had the Phoenix's traits, but when Lida touched him, that suction force made him revert to his original form. The final impact had left him with significant injuries.
"Take these."
Bravank pulled out several medicine pills from the torn pouch on his lower jaw and handed them to Marco, which finally steadied his breathing.
A few wisps of blue flame burst forth from his body, gradually repairing his injuries.
"Sorry, I need a breather. Dammit, I was too careless", Marco gritted his teeth.
"We've got this from here", Spade Gill said, eyeing Lida while tightening his grip on his shield and long spear. "Just don't let her touch us."
Several weapon-wielding captains closed in on Lida from all directions.
Lida took a deep breath and stretched her limbs, exhaling a wisp of aura like a sword from her nose, then started running.
Only a lunatic would fight these captains head-on - that wasn't her objective.

Suddenly, a shockwave rippled from above, shattering the surrounding air once more.
Kuro, who had been watching Whitebeard closely, leapt upward. His Autumn Water sword, coated with Haki, blocked Whitebeard's shockwave.
"Floating brat, you're quite the nuisance", Whitebeard growled, pressing against the Black Blade with a ferocious grin.
"I'd rather not fight you either. If you could just step aside, I'd be very happy", Kuro said with a smile. Suddenly retreating, the opening he created erupted with countless laser beams.
"Yata Mirror Beads!"
Lucius Kro soared into the air, unleashing a torrent of laser beams directly at Whitebeard.
Whitebeard's eyes narrowed. His Nitoryu released a shockwave, swinging forcefully forward. As the air shattered, the incoming laser rain and even Lucius Kro's body shattered like glass.
A yellow glow landed beside Kuro, reforming Lucius Kro's body.
"Oh~ That was scary", Lucius Kro said with surprise.
Whitebeard planted his Nitoryu into the ground, laughing loudly at Kuro and Lucius Kro. "Gurararara! Are the two of you really trying to stop me?"
"Facing you, two people still feel a bit risky", Lucius Kro scratched his head and replied.
The two faced Whitebeard without attacking, and Whitebeard didn't attack either, creating a stalemate.
"Superspeed Shave!"
Lida suddenly burst into high-speed movement toward Klah.
"Don't think you can escape!"
Fossa, the fifteenth crew captain, wielding his blade, swiftly appeared behind Lida and swung horizontally.
Lida ducked low, placing one hand on the ice to flip sideways, then kicked out her leg.
Fossa twisted his blade mid-swing, redirecting its path to strike at Lida's leg.
Clang!
Lida's leg didn't get sliced as expected - her foot blocked the strike instead.
"Haki?!"
Fossa recoiled in shock, seeing Lida smile at him. Her other hand pushed off the ice, launching her other leg straight at his face.
"There's no way I'll let you touch me!"
Fossa leapt backward, gripping his long sword with both hands for a thrusting strike.
Lida pushed off with both hands, dodging the blade while continuing her dash forward.
"I've got her!"
Spade Gill suddenly charged ahead, his knightly long spear striking like lightning.
Lida bent her body slightly, dodging the spear thrust. She covered her hand in Armament Haki and grabbed the spear shaft with a resounding slap, leaving five distinct finger marks.
Lida advanced half a step, her right fist rocketing toward the man.
Gill raised his shield, completely covering his body.
Boom!
Her punch struck the shield without leaving a dent. Lida blinked in surprise. "Haki again?"
"You're not the only one who can do that", Gill grinned at her.
"Is that so?"
The fist on the shield suddenly pushed with full force. The ice beneath her foot cracked with a wisp of depression. With a bang, she sent the fully armored man flying backward for ten meters.
"This strength..."
Spade Gill stumbled backward, almost falling. "Watch out! This woman's physical strength isn't low at all!"
"Tch, so troublesome!"
Kicking Gill away, Lida continued forward. She glanced back toward Kuro's direction, seeing him and Lucius Kro standing there like bystanders. Her temper flared. "Hey, Kuro! Are you going to help or what?!"
"Gramps, you hold him off. I'll go assist."
Kuro watched carefully, confirming Whitebeard had no immediate attack plans before slowly retreating.
"Oh~ Kuro, leaving this poor old man alone against this terrifying opponent? So heartless", Lucius Kro scratched his head, facing Whitebeard. "Well then, what shall we do now?"
Whitebeard's captains weren't pushovers. Lida had only achieved her previous feats through sneaking up on Izou and Marco's carelessness, draining enough energy to break through Jozu. But if these captains seriously fought back, touching them would become much harder.
And without her ability, Lida's unarmed combat skills could handle one captain at most - more than that would overwhelm her.
"Don't think you can escape!"
Curiel was among the pursuing captains. He pulled out his rocket launcher, aiming at Lida to fire.
Suddenly, he felt a chill and dodged frantically.
A wisp of black light flashed past him. Kuro landed in Lida's path, Autumn Water sweeping up to block the captains' pursuit.
"It's you!" Curiel gritted his teeth.
This man wouldn't be easy to handle.
Kuro scratched his head. "Er, you don't need to chase so recklessly. Your main objective isn't us, is it? Instead of chasing us here, why not check what happened to that Oz over there?"
He pointed toward the harbor with his finger.
"Shadow Horn Spear!"
At the harbor, Gecko Moria's hands thrust outward. From Oz's fallen chest rose a wisp of shadow spear, piercing through him.
Oz was already covered in wounds.
After Kuro's slash, Bartolomeo Bear launched another air bubble attack. Donquixote Doflamingo sliced off one of Oz's legs. Gecko Moria finished the job, delivering the final blow that left Oz incapacitated.
"Oz!!!"
The captains shouted in unison. Curiel looked at Kuro, clenching his fist in frustration. "Damn it!" He sprinted toward Oz's direction.
Boom! Boom!
Whitebeard's eyes narrowed at Oz's direction. The surrounding air rippled with a shockwave.
"Get lost, glowing brat!"
His Nitoryu, with its shockwave, slashed toward Lucius Kro.
Lucius Kro transformed into light beams, dispersing from the shockwave. He reformed on the seats beneath the execution platform.
"Woah, Whitebeard's angry now", Lucius Kro scratched his head, shouting upward. "Hey, Sengoku Mr., are you ready yet?"
Above the execution platform, Sengoku observed the battlefield and nodded. "Order the Navy to retreat. Initiate the plan."
Let's defeat those old men.
I haven't published a chapter doesn't mean I planned to update twice in one day. I'm genuinely unable to update more than I already do. I remember every debt I owe.
