Chapter 175: The Sacred Fist of the Southern Dipper
Chapter 175: The Sacred Fist of the Southern Dipper
"Pluto"
Robin looked at the blueprints in Sag's hands, astonished. "Sag, are you here for this? No, CP9's attitude towards you is strange. If they don't know, then you shouldn't either. How do you know where Pluto is, and why are you still..."
"Give it back!" Franky shouted and lunged forward.
Just then, two figures moved. Jabra appeared in front of Franky, pressing a hand against his face and forcefully throwing him back.
Lucci, on the other hand, appeared behind Sag, reaching for the blueprints in his hands.
Bang!
Franky's head collided with the wall of the carriage, and as wood chips flew, a dent formed, now marked with a streak of blood.
Franky's face twisted in pain; the back of his head had not undergone any modifications, so he definitely felt the impact.
Lucci also made a sound as he was kicked back by Sag.
Without even looking, Sag delivered a powerful kick that sent Lucci flying. He crashed through two rows of sofa chairs and slammed into the wall by the carriage door.
This display left everyone tense and on guard.
"Ambushes won't work on me, Lucci," Sag said as he turned around and flicked the blueprints in Lucci's direction before casually tucking them into his trouser pocket. He smiled and said, "I know you're all unhappy about this. Even you, Jabra—you've always wanted to make a move against me, haven't you? Go ahead, I permit it."
He was now wearing a frilly shirt similar to Hawkins', but it was obvious that his was of much finer quality. The shirt was open to his chest, the buttons were made of gems, and the collar had a black and gold trim.
He wore pocketed leather pants and leather boots with metallic-looking toes. The stack of design blueprints was casually stuffed halfway into his pocket, showing no fear of theft.
And indeed, there was no possibility of anyone stealing from him.
The 'Nothingness Assassination' technique was the best defense against ambushes.
Jabra licked his lips and said with a dry laugh, "The captain is indeed very generous and considerate of our work. Although this isn't part of my mission, we of CP9 are a united group, fellow countrymen, and partners."
All the current members of CP9 were from Crown Island, the place where they were raised and trained to be assassins.
"Of course, I'm usually very generous," Sag said nonchalantly. "But only once. You can choose when, but after that one time, if you try to come at me again, we'll have to follow the rules of the ship."
Sag showed no concern as he found a sofa to sit on and reclined comfortably.
Lucci climbed to his feet, brushing off the dust while maintaining his usual stoic expression. However, there was a hint of wariness in his eyes now.
The power was too great... even he hadn't been able to react in that instant.
"As expected of a pirate with a six hundred million berry bounty. Well, fighting here would damage the carriage."
Lucci looked out the window. From his angle, he could see a bright light piercing the dark night and stormy clouds in the distance.
Sag also sensed something and turned to look through the side window. His pupils dilated slightly as he took in the sight, "Oh?"
The surroundings were engulfed in darkness and swirling storm clouds, but at the heart of those clouds, the sky seemed to have torn open. A beam of light descended, illuminating an island in perpetual daylight.
But it wasn't just the daylight that was remarkable. From the perspective of the sea train, they could also see a circular waterfall surrounding the island. Below the waterfall, there seemed to be no bottom, only an abyss.
The entire island appeared to be floating in the air.
This was the wonder of the sea—one would never know the incredible secrets this world held without witnessing them firsthand!
"The Island of Daylight, the Island of Eternal Night. That's Enies Lobby, hoot!" said the owl.
The sea train forged ahead, cutting through the raging waves, and arrived at the land of perpetual daylight. Even the storm seemed to calm as they approached, as if no weather could affect this place of eternal day.
The train followed the tracks and curved around the island, soon reaching the front of the island. With a blast of its horn, the train slowly came to a stop on the tracks before the main entrance.
"Looks like we're being greeted," Sag said, glancing out the window at the navy and government officials standing ready. He let out a soft laugh.
"Then let's go," said Lucci. He led the way out of the carriage, with Robin and Franky following.
"That blueprint must not stay in your hands, Sag! As Robin's brother and a survivor of Ohara, don't you know the danger that Pluto poses?" Franky, flanked by Blueno and Kumadori, continued to resist as he shouted at Sag.
Sag bared his teeth in a grin. "I'm illiterate, so I don't know anything about danger. What's mine is mine, and if it's destroyed, then I destroyed it."
Franky was dragged out, still struggling, and chained up. They tried to put sea prism stone handcuffs on Robin as well, but Lucci shook his head. "No need. Take her as she is. Nicole Robin doesn't have any intention to resist. Take them to meet the boss first."
"Yes, sir!"
The leading navy soldier saluted and, armed with his weapon, surrounded the pair and cautiously led them toward the main entrance.
And now, all the members of CP9 were standing in the open space, facing the crowd of at least a thousand guards gathered at the main entrance, like sentries, waiting in front of the carriage.
Step.
The sound of boots stepping on the wooden boards came from the direction of the carriage door.
As the sound stirred, the thousand-strong group of Navy and World Government officials swallowed nervously in unison.
They had prepared for this beforehand.
The great pirate with a bounty of 600 million berries, Norton Sag, the 'Natural Disaster', was also on this train!
They had gathered this many people just to arrest him!
Footsteps approached, and a white-haired man with a black and red fringed cloak draped over his shoulders stepped down from the carriage door, his cape swaying with his movements. The crowd's hearts trembled as they watched, feeling a sense of dread grow within them.
Without doing anything, he simply walked forward, yet he instilled fear in everyone.
A 600-million-berry bounty... He was indeed extraordinary!
"No, Norton Sag!"
Finally, a Navy soldier couldn't contain himself any longer. He aimed his gun at Sag and shouted, "You dared to come to Enies Lobby! You are under arrest!"
Like a lit fuse, the people forming the encirclement at the front all raised their guns or gripped their weapons, all aimed at Sag.
"What a welcoming ceremony," Sag said, the corners of his mouth twitching upward into a sinister arc as he grinned malevolently at the crowd. "Let me return the greeting!"
Humm!
A crimson light shone in his eyes, and from Sag, a black and crimson torrent surged forward, like a tidal wave, toward the thousand people.
Instantly, the thousand people trembled, their bodies going limp as they dropped their weapons. Their mouths hung open unconsciously, their eyes rolled up, and they fell to the ground in a heap.
Sag shook his head. "Looks like no one can take my greeting."
Everyone except CP9 was lying on the ground in front of the main entrance, unconscious.
"Gulp," Jabra's body trembled uncontrollably. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and forced himself to swallow, his body stiff as he turned his head with difficulty. "Don't, don't joke around, Captain."
Compared to when he first met Sag on the ship, his aura now was even more formidable!
He hadn't felt any impact,
but it felt like the sky was falling!
Kalifa's sweat dripped down from her temple, and even her action of pushing up her glasses was trembling slightly.
Bruno stood stiff as a statue, his forehead beaded with sweat, indicating that he was still conscious.
Wiper's comical expression had disappeared, replaced by a solemn look.
Hattori tried to cover his head with his hands, but his head was too big, and he could only barely touch his cheeks.
Kaku's pupils had shrunk to tiny dots, and cold sweat dripped down his face from under his hat.
Lucci's face turned completely gloomy. "So this is the power of the Conquering King's Haki? It's indeed very powerful."
They couldn't see the color of the Conquering King's Haki, but they could feel the immense terror hidden within that overwhelming aura.
"And I haven't even used it on you yet. If I did, there would be no need for a second attempt. I'll give you one chance, and I will definitely give it to you."
Sag chuckled. "Right here?"
He hadn't released his Conquering King's Haki on them.
Now, Sag had precise control over his Conquering King's Haki, but the aura he exuded was still palpable to them. After all, they were 'superhumans' and could sense certain things acutely.
The group exchanged glances, and after a moment of silence, Lucci made the first move!
"Shave!"
His body flashed, and when he reached Sag's front, his body suddenly expanded, transforming into a nearly three-meter-tall humanoid leopard. He brought his fists up and down, aiming a punch at Sag.
"Ultimate Art: Rokushiki Ogi!"
He went all out with his first move! In Water Seven, he could afford to underestimate the Straw Hat boy, but against Sag, he had no such intentions.
He was going for a one-hit knockout!
Whoosh!
At that moment, everyone else joined the attack.
A series of air currents surged in the air as Kaku flashed above Sag, his legs moving rapidly.
"Rankyaku: Ran!"
Each kick created a vacuum, turning into scythe-like slashes that rained down.
Jabra appeared on the right, transformed into his werewolf form, one hand on his hip, the other pulling back. With a heavy aura, he threw a punch.
"Tekkai: Juboro!"
He was the only one who could use Tekkai while moving freely and using the Six Styles!
Creak!
An air door appeared behind Sag, and Bruno's upper body emerged, his hands reaching for Sag's eyes.
If he could open the door to his brain, that would be it!
At the same time, Kalifa burst from below the door, her legs whipping like whips as she kicked at Sag's back.
Wiper shook the iron bar, his long hair dancing like snakes. The tips of his hair turned into fingers that shot toward Sag as he shouted, "Yoi! Seimei Kikan: Shishi Shigun!"
Hattori appeared on Sag's left, his round body bouncing as he pounced. His speed was so fast that afterimages flashed around Sag, and his fists continuously threw punches in rapid succession.
"Beastial Ferocity Ultimate Art: Owl Riot Fist!"
This technique involved using his fists as piercing fingers!
Facing CP9's all-out assault, Sag threw his head back and laughed recklessly, "Using Haki is too bullying. If it's just hand-to-hand combat, then let me teach you what true Rokushiki really is!"
Having practiced Rokushiki since youth?
That was nothing compared to the Six Sacred Fists of the North Star!
He took a deep breath, clenched his fists, and shook them downward, "Tekkai: Kongou!"
Bang!
As if striking a resilient, elastic object, Lucci's Six King Guns created a strange, rebounding echo as his fists pressed against Sag's chest, unable to move him an inch. It felt like a child's punch on iron, feeble and powerless.
"Not bad."
Sag praised with a sinister smile, kicking Lucci's massive leopard form.
Bang!
Like a bomb exploding on Lucci's chest, Sag's leg, quick as a phantom, blasted an air wave from Lucci's chest, sending him flying backward. But as soon as Lucci's body moved, Sag casually reached up and grabbed Bruno's wrist!
"Bruno, use Tekkai!"
Hoo!
He forcefully swung forward, pulling Bruno's thick body out of the air door. First, he slammed him into Lucci, adding more force to send Lucci flying, then he swung his arm to the side, flinging Bruno in a semicircle.
Using a person as a shield, this was...
"Nanto Human Shield Fist!"
Sag waved forward, blocking the multitude of Rankyaku slashes from above.
Swish!
As the first Rankyaku slash left a wound on him, Bruno winced in pain and obediently solidified his body, using Tekkai, turning into a human-shaped object in Sag's hand.
Bang, bang, bang!
The slashes struck, ripping his clothes and sending out impact waves, all of which were blocked.
Sag spun again, aiming at one of Owl's afterimages and waving his hand.
"Nanto Human Throwing Fist!"
Bang!
Bruno's body collided with Owl's, and as Sag loosened his hand, they flew away together.
Who says he doesn't know Nanto Seiken!
This thing is just about using external objects and giving them fancy names. If he dismantles the sea train's engine and attacks with it, then it's called Nanto Train Fist!
Sag glanced at the approaching Jabra and clicked his tongue, "One uses Finger Gun as a fist, the other uses Tekkai to punch, why not combine them?"
His right fist extended, slamming directly toward Jabra's fist.
"The hardness of Tekkai, the damage of Finger Gun, plus the power of his own strength, when punched out, it's heavier than a cannonball... Heavy Cannon!"
Bang!
Jabra's thrown punch was directly deflected by this force, exposing an opening, and Sag's remaining momentum punched him straight in the face, sending him flying.
As he twisted his body to throw the punch, Sag lifted his leg and, in a scorpion-like motion, hooked his leg around Kalifa's neck from behind. He then swung his leg upward, flinging Kalifa into the air, where she collided with Kaku.
"Nanto Flicking Maiden Fist!"
As he spoke, he swung his leg and stared at the approaching Hair Needle Gun, flicking his leg from back to front and stomping on the ground.
Boom!
"Even the densest of attacks can be quickly dodged with Soru and Kami-e.
Amidst the extending hair, Sag seemed to move like a wave, smoothly advancing through the hair-like Finger Gun attacks.
Bang!
Sag curled his fingers toward his knuckles, and with the root of his palm, he struck Owl's chin. The tremendous force caused Owl to leap into the air.
As Owl attacked, Sag changed the direction of his attacking palm, cutting it vertically downward, and struck Owl's chest, forcefully slamming him downward, creating a dent in the ground.
Just as Owl landed, Kaku and Kalifa fell from the sky.
Owl and Bruno also crashed horizontally.
Jabra and Lucci, one forward and one to the left, fell heavily to the ground.
"Five seconds."
Sag clapped his hands, looking at the CP9 members lying on the ground, "This is your level. One chance, it's over."
To play hand-to-hand combat in front of him?
They were full of openings!
If he used the secret acupoint strikes of the North Star Fist, these people would already be dead.
Wherever they were obstructing his view, he would strike a point and kill one.
But since he had said he would give them a chance, Sag wouldn't go back on his word; these people were still useful.
Half of his strength lay in Haki, and the other half lay in hand-to-hand combat.
To be precise, half of it lay in that nearly infinite restorative Haki, the advantage being infinite restoration, allowing for infinite use.
However, hand-to-hand combat didn't have anything infinite about it; it was all about raw, hard clashes.
If not for Haki, there wouldn't be anyone on the sea who could clash head-on with him.
Especially after the nourishment of Life Return and the daily striking practice on the main text of history, in terms of hand-to-hand combat, even if he couldn't beat those with abnormally strong bodies, his North Star Fist could still teach those people a lesson.
In pure hand-to-hand combat, he was truly the undisputed...
...Heavenly King!
