The sword light descended, and the defense position monster was destroyed once more. However, another beam of golden light shot out immediately after.
"This time, I Special Summon 'The Stubborn Old Magician' in face-down Defense Mode on my side of the field. He's a Level 2 Dark Attribute monster."
"I use 'Demon Axe' to attack!" Moonwalk declared.
The humanoid figure constructed of energy wielded its axe and brought it down with the force of splitting Mount Hua. The Old Magician was instantly cleaved in two. Before leaving the field, the Old Magician mustered his remaining strength and swung his staff, shooting a curse of light at Moonwalk's monster.
"The effect of 'The Stubborn Old Magician' activates when it is destroyed," You Xuan explained, "I can select and destroy one of your opponent's monsters when this card is flipped face-up. I choose to destroy 'Mage Power' which is being treated as a monster!"
The curse of light pierced through the translucent energy humanoid, and the last remaining equipment monster on Moonwalk's field, 'Mage Power', shattered and dissipated.
"You've defended against all my attacks. Impressive. This means I have no monsters left to attack with."
Moonwalk drew two cards.
"I'll Set two cards and end my turn." He smiled faintly, "No wonder Nightwalk speaks highly of you."
"At the start of your End Phase, I activate my Set Trap Card, 'Judgment of the Scale'!" You Xuan declared, "When the number of cards on your opponent's field is greater than the combined total of cards in your hand and on your field, draw cards from your deck until you have that difference in number."
"I have four monsters and two Set cards on my field," Moonwalk stated.
"I have two cards in my hand and only 'Judgment of the Scale' on my field," You Xuan continued, "So, I draw three cards."
You Xuan drew three cards in one breath, and the image of the Trap Card in his backrow gradually faded and disappeared.
"Now it's my turn. I draw a card."
You Xuan drew another card.
"I Summon 'Nephthys, the Supplicant' in face-down Defense Mode."
