The Three-Eyed Ghost Cicada is one of the more troublesome High-Rank Ghost-type Companion Beasts.
Most familiars grow larger as they evolve, but a small number of familiars remain the same size or even shrink after evolving.
The larger a familiar is, the stronger it generally is. Even if its speed doesn't change, its size makes it easier to target.
From a natural perspective, larger familiars have significant advantages, whether in attack or defense.
However, this isn't an absolute rule. Familiars don't determine their strength solely by size.
Many small familiars can unleash powerful attacks and use their size to dodge attacks more easily.
The Three-Eyed Ghost Cicada falls into this category.

When she saw the Three-Eyed Ghost Cicada attacking Qiao Sang, she nearly wet herself with fear.
Fortunately, Treasure Seeker intervened, but before she could calm down, she saw the Three-Eyed Ghost Cicada launch another Shadow Orb at Qiao Sang, followed by a burst of flame exploding in front of her.
Then, she saw Dreamless Tot being knocked out and Flame Listener bravely charging at the Three-Eyed Ghost Cicada. The adrenaline was almost too much for her to handle!

After releasing Black Gaze, the Three-Eyed Ghost Cicada turned its gaze to Qiao Sang.
