Chapter 159: Who is That Person?
Chapter 159: Who is That Person?
The two girls were stupefied.
Countless possibilities had just flashed through their minds.
Perhaps it had lost its sanity and was here to attack human cities, or maybe it was enraged by humans fishing and had come to inflict punishment...
Yet, they had never considered this particular possibility.
After a brief moment of stupefaction, the two couldn't help but ask, "A companion... who is it?"
"It's a Dragonite that lives with a human," replied Shaymin.
"Huh?" Lisia and Ripley stammered, but then immediately realized something.
This powerful and gigantic Dragonite was looking for its companion. If they could find that human and their Dragonite, would this one leave?
With this in mind, Lisia continued her inquiry, "Does it know the human's name?"
"It said it can't remember," Shaymin answered.
Lisia and Ripley: "..."
They couldn't blame the gigantic Dragonite for that.
After learning from Mew and Teddiursa that there was another of its kind in this world, it had rushed over without delay, thus overlooking the other information Teddiursa had provided.
Although Mew had shown it the route to the Partea region in its mind, such a task was still too challenging for a Dragonite that had been asleep for so many years.
Moreover, the route was intermittent and incomplete, and coupled with the strangeness of this world, it had gotten lost several times before finding this place.
All it knew was that its companion was in the Partea region.
As for other information, it had overlooked or forgotten everything except that its companion was with a human.
Hearing this from Shaymin, Lisia and Ripley glanced at each other, a question mark hovering in their minds.
Who is that person?
What kind of trainer and Pokemon could befriend such a terrifyingly powerful creature?
After a brief silence, Ripley asked, "What should we do now?"
Lisia couldn't help but raise her hand to her forehead. What a mess!
She sighed and calmly said, "Let's ask Shaymin to try and persuade this gigantic Dragonite to stay here and wait while we go look for its companion."
They didn't want to engage in a conflict with such a formidable Pokemon.
So, for now, this seemed like the only option.
Ripley agreed with the plan and nodded, conveying the suggestion to Shaymin.
Shaymin nodded gently and returned to the Dragonite's side to continue communicating with it.
After a while, Shaymin returned and informed them of the outcome.
"It agreed."
Hearing this, Lisia and Ripley breathed a sigh of relief.
Thankfully, the Dragonite was still rational and open to communication.
Now, all they had to do was find that human and their Dragonite.
Once they did, this incident would be resolved peacefully.
The young Pokemon League Champion, the top-ranked Master of the Partea region, pondered for a moment before giving an order through the walkie-talkie, "Contact the major television stations and notify the journalists and media to broadcast this news on TV. We need to find that trainer as soon as possible!"
Miss Junsha, standing guard on the shore, straightened her posture and acknowledged the order with a serious expression, "Yes!"
---
While undercurrents stirred in the Partea region, peace reigned at Naoki's ranch.
It was 6 a.m., and the old-fashioned wall clock chimed the hour.
Naoki opened his eyes, greeted the Pokemon around him, and got out of bed to start a new day.
After a quick wash, Naoki hummed a tune as he prepared sandwiches for a few of his Pokemon.
"Mama~" And so, Frost Cream Fairy closed its eyes, ready to snooze a bit more.
The ranch was always bustling with energy in the morning.
The riding goats crowded around the trough, munching on grass dumplings.
Olney was basking in the gentle sun, clearly enjoying himself.
Glaceon jumped down from the Ice Stone and strolled out into the grassy field, shaking its body with contentment.
Combee and Butterfree gathered in the flower field, happily sipping the flower-scented dew.
Diglett flew to the chicken coop, opened the door, and set the hens free to roam.
Gourgeist, Salamence, and Garchomp made their way to the corridor, stretched leisurely, and then started playing in the ranch.
Frost Cream Fairy, hearing the joyful noises from outside, couldn't fall back asleep.
It huffed and jumped down from the cabinet, intending to scold the three big guys to be quieter, but Naoki noticed.
As he prepared breakfast, he turned and said, "By the way, Frost Cream Fairy, go to the desk and bring out the Salazzle and Salandit Poke Balls. Let them come out and stretch their legs."
So, Frost Cream Fairy had no choice but to obey. It climbed onto the desk and carried the five tiny Poke Balls outside to the grassy field.
The moment they touched the ground, the small Poke Balls automatically grew larger, and beams of white light shot out, forming Salandit and Salazzle.
Seeing them, Frost Cream Fairy's irritation vanished, and it was picked up by a Salandit, playing a game of "lift-the-Frost-Cream-Fairy" in the ranch.
Making sandwiches was simple, and soon enough, Naoki had prepared over a dozen.
He placed them on the table and took out Tree Fruit Juice, MooMoo Milk, and Poke Puffs from the refrigerator, then called out, "Meal time!"
Hearing this, a group of Pokemon rushed over, big and small, gathering around the table and devouring the sandwiches.
Seeing them enjoy their meal, Naoki's appetite was stimulated as well.
He turned on the TV before sitting down to eat.
The TV was broadcasting the morning news of the Partea region.
Naoki wasn't paying attention at first, as he was plucking grass scraps off Diglett's fur.
But soon, a news report caught his attention.
"Early yesterday morning, a sea-faring fishing boat discovered a massive sea beast... Investigations reveal that it is a gigantic Salamence with a body length exceeding 40 meters!"
"We do not yet know where it came from. Currently, our top Champion, Yesi, and the Gym Leader of Bagua Gym, Miss Ripley, are attempting to communicate with it."
Then, a tanned face appeared on the screen.
It was none other than Yesi, the Champion of the Partea League.
However, Yesi at this time looked much younger than in the games, appearing to be around twenty years old.
She had a solemn expression, her eyes fixed on the screen, and her voice was steady and calm.
"We have learned the reason why this gigantic Salamence came to the Partea region. It is here to find its companion."
"If anyone recognizes this Salamence or its human companion, please come to the western shore of Partea West Coast at Lake Big Pot! It is waiting for you there!"
