Vivian was carrying the Physical Force and Magic Force wrapped with a brown paper that she bought from the Blacksmith Shop as she stepped inside the Female Dormitory and headed for the stairs.

Why are there no elevators in this world…?

I’m no expert about medieval history but I believe they had elevators…

Because as far as I know, the Medieval era already had the pulley system…

Is it perhaps because of the Physical Force…?

The envelope was sealed with a seal stamp and there were no other names except hers and the office building’s name.

She pulled her gaze away from the letter and returned her attention to Lorei.

“Is there anything else, sister?”

Lorei shook her head.

“There’s nothing else. I’m going back to my office to have some tea. Care to join me?”

Vivian made a dramatic sad face.

“I swear to the God of Light that I’d love to, sister. However, I still have to train my Magic Arts because I want to reach Gold Cloak as quickly as possible like you. Thank you though.”

A warm smile spread on Lorei’s lips and she nodded.

“I understand, sister. May the God of Light bless you with a fast and quick training.”

As Vivian opened, closed and locked the door behind her, she quickly adjusted the brightness of the lightbulb inside her room from the Magic Panel.

The Magic Panel had a Passive feature and it had two adjustable features that Vivian was aware of -- adjustment of the temperature of the room and adjustment of the brightness of the light on the ceiling.

Meanwhile, the lamp on her desk mirror was a separate thing. And just like the Magic Panel, it had a Passive feature where the brightness of its light can be adjusted.

She went over to her desk mirror and then checked her reflection.

“Beautiful.”

She went over to her bed and threw the Physical Force and the Magic Force Crystals wrapped in a brown paper bag and the envelope on top of it before stripping down to her underwear.

Pop, pop, pop...!

She stretched her body, causing her body to make popping sounds.

That felt good...

She grabbed the letter envelope and then sat down in front of her desk.

Riiip.

She ripped the envelope and took out the letter.

Flip.

After reading the front page, she flipped the letter.

So just one page…

She placed the letter down.

Hmm…

It was from Joshua…

I have to present the letter to the Mission Room to claim my 20 platinum coins reward for assisting in the discovery of the lair of demon-worshipper bandits…

The only difference was that it was shaped into a rod about 10 inches long instead of a rectangular piece of metal that was about 4 inches long.

She placed the Magic Force Crystal down.

“Now let’s try this again.”

The crystal emitted a light.

She closed her eyes as she tried to recall the information given to her through the Memory Crystal from the Blacksmith Shop.

She didn’t dare to use the Physical Force and the Magic Force Crystals there because she couldn’t think of any possible or believable explanation to give to Sike and Grace on how her Physical and Magic Force were growing rapidly.
