He did intend to visit the Team 002 and Team 003's lounges.
Having made this bet, Li Wu wasn't about to hand over his victory to someone else.
Team 001 could go and talk to them, and so could Li Wu.
Given Li Wu's personality, if he didn't have the confidence to persuade those two teams, how could he have easily agreed to the bet with Jiang Beifeng?
"Be my guest!"
Jiang Beifeng naturally understood that Li Wu was about to make his move, but he remained unperturbed.
He was exceptionally calm and gentlemanly.
"Best of luck to you!"
After saying this, Jiang Beifeng tactfully withdrew.
Li Wu watched him leave and immediately sprang into action, heading straight for Team 003's lounge.
Meanwhile, Jiang Beifeng, after leaving Team 042's lounge, made his way to Team 001's lounge.
As soon as Jiang Beifeng entered, Team 001 stood up, and their captain, Zhuang Yan, promptly poured him a glass of water.
"Director Jiang, how did it go? Was it successful?"
"I'd say it was half a success."
Jiang Beifeng took the water, took a sip, and continued, "He agreed to the bet, but the stakes have changed. The bet is now 50,000 points for the winner."
Team 001 gasped at this revelation.
"He's certainly ambitious, but can he come up with 50,000 points?"
Jiang Beifeng smiled faintly, "I'm more worried about him being able to pay up. If he does, things might get tricky for me."
Zhuang Yan pointed out a blind spot, "But what if Jiangnan University pays for him? After all, they seem to value him quite a bit. I think they would cover this amount."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Beifeng burst into laughter.
"That would be ideal! In that case, I'd have more room to maneuver. After all, 50,000 points are no small sum, and Jiangnan University isn't Zhang Wentao's personal playground.
If they pay for Li Wu, who hasn't even enrolled yet, many in Jiangnan University will have something to say about it!"
As Jiang Beifeng spoke, his fingers gently tapped the glass, and in an instant, it seemed like countless calculations were at his fingertips. But soon, he smiled faintly again.

Team 003's captain, Sun Qing, asked, feigning ignorance.
Li Wu, on the other hand, got straight to the point, "I'd like to request that you ensure you win against Team 018."
"Oh?"
Sun Qing smirked, his mouth curling upwards, "Can I take it that you're begging me? If so, your attitude is problematic..."
Before Sun Qing could finish, Li Wu interrupted him with three words.
"Bloodfire Burst!"
At these words, Sun Qing froze.
"What did you say?"
Li Wu, expressionless, recited a set of attributes, "Ironclad Mantis, Elite Rank 2, attributes Metal and Grass, weak to Fire, excels in close combat. Its primary offensive skill is Blade Strike, and its trump card is Iron Man Cuts. However, the Ironclad Mantis has another true trump card..."
The more Li Wu spoke, the darker Sun Qing's expression became. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, he interrupted.
"Alright, that's enough!
I know what to do!"
Seeing that his request was granted, Li Wu's expressionless face finally relaxed into a kind smile, "Thank you. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave. After saying this, Li Wu shook Sun Qing's hand and turned to leave, heading straight for Team 002's lounge.
Watching Li Wu's departing figure, the entire Team 003 lounge fell into a deathly silence.
After a while, Sun Qing, as the captain, spoke in admiration, "I always thought Li Wu's reputation as a breeder was exaggerated, but he's truly terrifying.

His teammates, however, were less than pleased.
"So, what do we do now? Do we just let him manipulate us like this?"
"What do you mean, what do we do? What else can we do? He has detailed information about our Summon Beast, so whatever he says goes.
If we don't follow his lead and he leaks our Summon Beast's information, we'll be at a severe disadvantage."
Sun Qing shrugged, "But what if he makes it to the finals and we face him there?
"That doesn't matter."
Sun Qing, unbothered by his teammate's concern, waved it off. "Have you forgotten his decision when he faced us? If he had the slightest confidence in defeating us, he wouldn't have surrendered. So, don't worry about them too much. At least in this match, they pose no threat to us."
Sun Qing's words calmed his teammates' nerves, and they agreed that it made sense. Despite being underestimated, Team 003 was effectively handled by Li Wu.
All Li Wu needed now was to deal with Team 002, and with the detailed information he had on their Summon Beasts, he felt confident about securing the first round.
However, reality differed from Li Wu's expectations.
When Li Wu located Team 002's resting area and replicated the events that occurred with Team 003, Team 002's captain, Fang Bai, raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?"
Li Wu's heart sank at Fang Bai's expression and tone. He had a bad feeling about what was to come.
What should have been a sure win seemed like it might backfire with Team 002.
And indeed, it did.
"Well, compared to Team 001's approach, you are indeed more cunning," Fang Bai admitted, clapping his hands. "That fellow tried to provoke me with what I consider a worthless bargaining chip. But you, you've brought something substantial to the table. Very impressive, I must say!"
Fang Bai's face grew colder as he continued, "You are impressive, but you've also made me furious. I detest being threatened. Team 001's antics were merely amusing, but I can't take your actions lightly. So, congratulations, you've succeeded in infuriating me. I was planning to give Team 018 a hard time, but now I'm letting them have this victory!"
Li Wu's expression darkened. "Do you understand the consequences of your words and actions? Do you realize what you're doing?"
"I know exactly what I'm doing. You can take your bargaining chip and leave. I, Fang Bai, will not be threatened by anyone!"
With these resolute words, the negotiation between Li Wu and Team 002 officially broke down.
After leaving Team 002's resting area, Li Wu was perplexed. He couldn't understand why his trump card had failed. Were Team 002 members truly that impulsive? Would they risk exposing their own information just to save face? Moreover, he hadn't been particularly rude to them.
Li Wu had approached Team 002 knowing about their overbearing nature, so he had avoided an arrogant attitude and instead discussed the matter calmly. Yet, they still reacted angrily.
The breakdown in communication left Li Wu baffled.
"Wait, something's not right with Team 002's situation!" Li Wu carefully recalled and compared the micro-expressions of the captains of Teams 003 and 002 when he revealed his information.
Sun Qing of Team 003 was shocked, and so was Fang Bai of Team 002, but there seemed to be more to his reaction.
"He hid a sense of pride, confidence, and a well-calculated plan. His shock was genuine, but he was also genuinely surprised by my ability to discern information about the Summon Beasts. Yet, he chose to react impulsively.
This suggests that I might not have the full picture."
As Li Wu said this, he remembered that Su Lan of Team 007 had a second Summon Beast. This realization immediately clarified Team 002's situation for him.
"It's clear that he likely has another, more powerful Summon Beast. That's why he's unafraid of me exposing his secrets. He might even want me to reveal the attributes of his current Summon Beast team to catch others off guard!"
Understanding this, Li Wu couldn't help but curse, "Damn, they say we breeders have dirty minds, but these guys aren't any cleaner!"
Li Wu now understood Team 002's situation, but it didn't change his current predicament.
Unless he found the hidden Summon Beast, Team 002 wouldn't be under his control.
The team had clearly become cautious, making it nearly impossible for Li Wu to obtain their other Summon Beast.
Adding to his troubles, Team 018's third match was against Team 002, and they conceded even before the match began.
With this, Team 018 achieved a 36-win streak, taking the lead in Group A's points table.
Jiang Beifeng, witnessing this, sighed, "Looks like I'll have to secure victory early. How boring!"
Meanwhile, Li Wu activated his backup plan.
