She knew that a normal Treasure Seeker's eyes were a medium yellow, but golden yellow was still within the yellow spectrum.
People in the Dragon Nation had different pupil colors, ranging from black to light brown and dark brown. To her, it seemed like a genetic issue, but was it more than that?
"No problem, I just think the color is quite beautiful", Liu Yao replied.

She really wanted to facepalm!

After a moment, Liu Yao asked, "You've raised it well. Have you thought about its future Evolution path?"
Qiao Sang was taken aback. The only Evolution form for a Treasure Seeker was the Treasure Hunter Demon, which then had two Evolution paths: Treasure Spirit and Ghost Ring Specter.
Honestly, Qiao Sang hadn't thought about this at all. Both the Treasure Spirit and Ghost Ring Specter were high-level familiars, and Treasure Seeker was still a Basic Familiar.
It felt too early to think about this. She figured she would consider it once Treasure Seeker Evolved into a Treasure Hunter Demon and became an Intermediate Familiar.
"I haven't thought about it", Qiao Sang admitted.
"You should start thinking about it now", Liu Yao said, pausing his examination and looking up. "If you want Treasure Seeker to Evolve into a Treasure Spirit, there's no issue; just raise it normally. But if you want it to Evolve into a Ghost Ring Specter, you need to start a different training regimen while it's still a Treasure Seeker."
Qiao Sang was genuinely unaware of this.
Most familiars' training was aimed at preparing them for their next Evolution stage, but she hadn't heard of needing to start so early.
Qiao Sang thought for a few seconds and asked, "What would I need to do if I want it to Evolve into a Ghost Ring Specter?"
After bonding with Treasure Seeker, she had thoroughly researched the Treasure Seeker species online.
Although she hadn't decided whether to have it Evolve into a Treasure Spirit or a Ghost Ring Specter, she had studied both types.
Treasure Spirit: A Ghost-type and Dark-type double-attribute familiar. With enough accumulation, it would naturally Evolve.
Ghost Ring Specter: A Ghost Familiar, though it lacks the Evil attribute, it is more likely to learn Ghost-type Skills. There is also a chance that it will automatically Awaken Curse-type Skills upon Evolving into a Ghost Ring Specter.
Just like how Fangflare evolved into Flame Listener and awakened Sensitivity, Phantom Flame.
However, to evolve into a Ghost Ring Specter, the Ring on the Treasure Hunter Demon must first split into two. She wasn't sure how to do that exactly.
She knew that the number of Treasure Hunters evolving into Treasure Spirits far exceeded those evolving into Ghost Ring Specters, as the conditions and materials required for the latter were much more difficult.
Comparing the two familiars, Qiao Sang was more inclined toward the Ghost Ring Specter.
Treasure Seeker already had a Psychic-type skill, and skills were about quality, not quantity. The Psychic-type and Ghost-type skills were sufficient for it to learn, and evolving into a Ghost Ring Specter would make it easier to master Ghost-type skills.
Liu Yao wasn't surprised by Qiao Sang's choice. Ghost Ring Specters were far rarer than Treasure Spirits.
