Chapter 14: One Life Left

Death can be such a cruel thing in the world, thus you must enjoy your life to the fullest.

Cause you’ll never know when death will come to take you away forever.



A light shined brightly on Fennel, one that enlightened her soul as she could feel her body being lifted up into a stage of peace. At first it was a scary feeling one that made her breath go quiet, but after a moment there wasn’t much to fear anymore.

Soon she had reached the end of the darkness and had entered Heaven. It was peaceful for a moment,but only that short moment.

As she could feel herself falling back down to hell she started in.


Suddenly Fennel awoke in a deep sweat as she looked around and noticed everyone was still sleeping.



Her heart was booming loudly as if it were a large drum being hit repeatedly for some kind of tradition. She calmed herself down as she tried to process what happened.

Was it all a dream? A warning? Or a prediction for the future?

Suddenly a screen popped up in front of her with a digital vibe to it.

This was all so surreal, almost like a game, yet things felt real at the very least. Below the other buttons were two different buttons. One said check skills and the other said change costumes. Her finger shivered as it hovered over one of the buttons. What exactly would this do? What if it was a trap? Yet this curiosity was eating away at her skin.

She pressed the button as an array of words appeared cover her vision of everything around her.

These were all techniques that she had learned across her training in Conton City, but what was “Awakening”? That wasn’t something ever talked about in the time patrol facility. But She moved past it and looked over and pressed the costume button.

This one didn’t have anything appealing except for a section that caught her eye fairly quickly.

Fennel thought carefully as she thought about her dream. If it was real then this choice could make a difference, so this choice had to be taken without her saiyan instincts.
