Chapter 1351: Just a Matter of Killing
Chapter 1351: Just a Matter of Killing
Kuro aimed Autumn Water at Luffy's Crew on the Headquarters Battlefield, his figure instantly transforming into a blur of afterimages as he surged forward.
The first to meet him was Franky, locked in fierce combat with Sazil. Their battle had reached a fever pitch—Sazil's Punch-Punch Devil Fruit, an inferior variant of the Paw-Paw Devil Fruit, had proven capable of deflecting many attacks through its development. Franky's own mechanical enhancements held strong too, allowing him to withstand Sazil's assaults in an endless clash... but now, it was ending.
Kuro materialized before the mechanical human who had completed his "Franky Shogun" form. Autumn Water sheathed itself with a flash of blade light, unleashing countless beams of Black Radiance that slashed through Franky's mechanical body.
Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!
The hardened mechanical frame shattered under the Black Radiance, reduced to scattered fragments. Kuro extended his hand, conjuring a pillar of high-energy flame that erupted onto the wreckage, incinerating it completely.
"Franky!!"
Another anguished cry rang out.
Nami's tearful eyes glared at Kuro, her Clima-Tact summoning thunderclouds that coalesced into a humanoid face.
"Zeus! Help me!!"
Her voice cracked with desperation and rage.
Three companions had already fallen—Luffy, Usopp, and now Franky. This couldn't continue. It was unacceptable!
Crackle!
Boom!!!
The black thunderclouds expanded, darkening the sky as they gathered electric energy. Thunderbolts concentrated below, forming an enormous lightning sphere capable of obliterating the entire plaza.
But Kuro would never allow that.
"Homies?"
Kuro vanished, reappearing beneath the thunderclouds. His left thumb flicked Black Blade outward. The right hand raised, releasing a crescent-shaped wisp of light.
"Big Mom is dead—you should've vanished with her!"
Slash!!
The black light cleaved through the massive storm cloud, splitting it in two. A dense network of slicing beams erupted within the divided clouds, shredding them into mist. The concentrated thunder dissipated alongside them.
Homies were just living thunderclouds—nothing he couldn't cut.
Nami staggered, her thundercloud gone. Her legs buckled as Kuro reappeared before her.
His blade tilted sideways.
Hiss!
Her head flew, joining her headless body in falling.
To Kuro, this woman was merely an attractive pirate. Beauty meant nothing—she was still just a pirate.
"Nami!!!"
Klah, who had been pinning Sanji, felt a violent surge erupt. The force broke his restraint. A black shadow exploded from Klah's claws at extreme speed, igniting into blazing flames as it surged forward.
"Gaaaahhhhh! Golden Lion! I'll kill you!!"
The flames roared as Sanji's body spun midair, delivering a kick of tremendous force toward Kuro. A shockwave rippled through the air.
"Meat Burst!!!"
The flames transformed him into a blazing shuttle, radiating raw power.
Kuro simply raised one hand. Five fingers clenched, piercing through the flames to seize Sanji's foot.
Boom!
A shockwave erupted from his palm, scattering dust and rubble.
The kick was caught.
"It's impossible! My attack can't do nothing!!" Sanji shouted.
"Strength, speed, hardness—Vinsmoke's technology is mature in you, but it's still nothing. Compared to me, you're far behind." Kuro said coldly.
The Azure Dragon Devil Fruit's physical enhancement dwarfed Vinsmoke technology. Even at his peak, Sanji's strength was no match for Kuro's current power. Blocking was effortless.
Kuro raised his blade. Black Light slashed across Sanji's neck.
Hiss.
A soft sound echoed. Another head flew.
Kuro released his grip. The headless body wavered, then collapsed.
"Moo!!"
A colossal shadow engulfed Kuro. He frowned, turning to see an enormous humanoid reindeer charging forward, its jet-black palm crashing down.
"Zoan Awakening? Interesting."
Kuro became a blur, dodging the strike and darting to the reindeer's side. His figure soared, landing before the giant's head.
"But no matter who you are—cut off the head, and you die! Crescent Moon Slash!"
A crescent of Black Light encircled the reindeer's neck, spraying a torrent of blood that drenched Kuro. The massive body crashed down, shrinking mid-fall into Chopper's form.
Kuro flashed through the air, appearing before Robin. His blood-soaked figure struck with immense force, making her instinctively retreat. Her hands crossed, summoning countless arms that merged into a jet-black giant.
"Nico Robin. Enough—this is troublesome. I apologize to Kuzan, but he'll understand."
Hiss!
The blade flashed, severing Robin's head and dissolving the giant.
"Soul Reaper Slash!!"
A frigid aura surged as Brook charged forward, his cane-sword raised.
"Skull, soul? Same as Homies."
Kuro didn't even look. His blade swept downward, releasing an indescribable 'force' that shattered Brook's skeleton under the onslaught of Killing Intent and air pressure, scattering bones in all directions.
"Hmph."
He exhaled, raising his blade. His eyes narrowed as a ribbon of energy wrapped around the blade, fusing into it like an imprint.
Simple slashes wouldn't suffice to kill them all. But Autumn Water, enhanced with this power, could certainly do the job.
Kuro had no intention of letting anyone escape. He'd spent so long preparing this battlefield, even abandoning Headquarters itself, all for a decisive victory.
In this, he was even more ruthless than Sakazuki.
"War is something I'll teach the world not to start lightly. Once begun, it ends only when blood stops flowing. No matter the cost—even if every Navy soldier here dies—we'll bury the pirates here. This isn't a game. It's not something you start and abandon at will."
Kuro gripped his blade, his voice icy. His bloodstained form made him a gruesome sight.
Every pirate here...
Would die.
Death would end everything.
