Chapter 1335: Capture You!
Chapter 1335: Capture You!
The Crimson-Black Dragon clashed with Kuro’s body, emitting a surge of crimson blood light. Within that eerie glow, Kuro’s eyes widened in shock as his form twisted and contorted. His blood qi armor shifted dramatically, sprouting a pair of gruesome horns from his forehead. The armor became increasingly monstrous, culminating in a fearsome lion’s head motif on his chest.
As the blood light faded, leaving only faint wisps of blood qi swirling around Kuro’s feet, he stepped forward. A smirk tugged at his lips as he pointed his finger toward the sky.
Crackling golden lightning erupted from his fingertip, piercing the heavens. The sky darkened, thick clouds gathering ominously.
“Tenman.”
From the dark clouds, rolling thunder surged.
“Mahātmā!!”
Boom!!
Countless lightning bolts rained down, one of them—a Colossal Thunder—targeting Marshall D. Teach directly.
Marshall D. Teach barely dodged, the thunder striking the ground and exploding into rubble.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
He escaped, but the surviving Blackbeard Pirates weren’t so lucky. One by one, they were struck, their charred bodies collapsing.
Boom!
A wisp of lightning struck near Daidon. She glanced over, sweat trickling down her temple, her eyes wide with shock. “Muruhuhu, terrifying indeed.”
Bang!
Before she could recover from her daze, a powerful force slammed into her, sending her flying.
Boa Hancock stood with a bent knee, her expression icy. “Even while fighting this one, you still dare to look elsewhere?!”
“Evil laugh!”
Marshall D. Teach stared at the crater left by the thunder, his body smoking but his grin unwavering. “You’re truly terrifying, Kuro!”
Even without fully engaging, Kuro’s sheer might was enough to send chills down anyone’s spine.
But…
“If it’s just your ability…”
Marshall D. Teach suddenly lunged, his hand outstretched. “The Old Man won’t fear it! Dark Hollow Way (Dark Hollow Way)!”
The Dark-Dark Fruit’s suction pulled relentlessly. Against Devil Fruit users, it was inescapable—no user could resist its pull.
Even now, as the suction spread, Kuro’s feet cracked the ground beneath him, his body straining. Yet he couldn’t resist the force dragging him toward Marshall D. Teach.
“Blackbeard’s Laugh!!”
Marshall D. Teach grinned arrogantly, his black serpents swaying. He awaited Kuro’s approach, ready to deliver a fatal bite with his shockwave-infused serpents.
“Heat Breath!”
Realizing resistance was futile, Kuro opened his mouth, unleashing a concentrated beam of scorching flame. It shot toward Marshall D. Teach like a cannonball.
Marshall D. Teach’s pupils contracted. Too late to dodge, he instinctively crossed his arms, his serpents coiling defensively.
Boom!!
The beam exploded on impact, engulfing him in flames.
“Damn it, damn it, damn it!!”
Marshall D. Teach’s pained cries echoed as black smoke billowed, extinguishing the fire. He retaliated with a punch, sending a shockwave rippling through the air. His serpents slithered along the cracks, transforming the battlefield into a Black Snake Encasement.
“Dark Flow!”
But by then, Kuro had vanished.
Bang!
Before Marshall D. Teach could locate him, a crushing blow struck his head. Kuro appeared from the side, his heel slamming into Marshall’s forehead. The force sent a gust of wind howling, nearly distorting his face. Marshall’s body flew sideways like a deflated ball.
Crackle!
After kicking Marshall away, Kuro raised his hand, forming a thunder spear in his palm. With a flick of his arm, the spear hurtled toward Marshall’s back. The serpents encasing him immediately bit down, intercepting the strike.
“This again…”
Marshall D. Teach twisted his head, glaring at Kuro. Before he could speak, Kuro smirked, pointing at the spear.
“That’s not just thunder.”
Whoosh!!
The thunder dissipated, unleashing a wisp of wind blades. Sparks danced alongside them, slicing Marshall’s body and drawing blood.
While channeling the thunder, Kuro had also infused it with Destructive Wind.
Marshall D. Teach crashed to the ground, writhing in pain from the cuts.
Kuro landed, his eyes gleaming with malice. “Let’s see how you like this, you bastard!”
Marshall D. Teach sat up, clutching his chest and panting. “Kuro… With your strength, why waste it on the Navy? Rule the Grand Line with me! I’ll even share the Admiral’s position. Together, no one could stop us!”
“Save your breath!”
Kuro raised his hand again, launching another thunder spear.
Marshall D. Teach’s pupils narrowed. Black serpents erupted from his surroundings, intercepting the spear mid-air. The shockwave shattered it like a snake’s bite.
“Still not convinced, Kuro?” Marshall D. Teach’s grin persisted.
“Heat Breath!”
Kuro spat another high-energy beam.
More serpents surged, biting through the beam’s force, shattering it effortlessly.
Marshall D. Teach’s smirk widened. “Evil laugh. You won’t talk to the Old Man? Doesn’t matter.”
Bang!
Suddenly, the ground beneath Kuro’s feet split open. Black serpents erupted, clamping onto his limbs and body.
“Is this all you’ve got?” Kuro narrowed his eyes.
“Evil laugh. Capturing you takes effort.”
Marshall D. Teach rose, extending his five fingers toward Kuro. “But once I touch you, nothing will matter.”
He thrust his hand forward. Black energy surged from his arm, forming a defensive barrier to block Kuro’s counterattacks. Once prepared, he roared, “Dark Hollow Way (Dark Hollow Way)!”
“Evil laugh!!”
Marshall D. Teach’s eyes widened, bloodshot and wild.
Kuro was a Devil Fruit user—there was no escaping the Dark-Dark Fruit’s pull. Once touched, his formidable physique would crumble, just as it had before.
This time, there’d be no escape. No chance for Kuro to recover!
Blade Fusion had been his greatest mistake.
Snap!
In an instant, Marshall D. Teach’s single hand captured Kuro, while more serpents coiled around his body.
“Got you now! You can’t run, Kuro! The Old Man’s going to end you!” Marshall D. Teach bellowed.
The serpents swelled, their bodies pulsating with shockwave energy.
But then—a hand clamped onto Marshall D. Teach’s palm. His fingers trembled as the grip slowly pried his hand away.
Kuro’s lips curled into a smirk. Fixing Marshall D. Teach with a stare, he gripped his wrist and whispered, “I’ve captured you too.”
Marshall D. Teach’s pupils dilated.
How could Kuro’s strength remain so overwhelming within his touch range? Why hadn’t his power vanished?!
