Chapter 1333: You Dare to Dance Too?
Chapter 1333: You Dare to Dance Too?
Kuro's body trembled under the shockwave, but his Yokai Blade precisely locked onto Marshall D. Teach's fist, halting the blast's spread.
"Let me disable your ability first!"
Marshall D. Teach extended his other hand, already shrouded in black smoke, and pointed at Kuro. "Darkness!"
Hiss!
Kuro slashed his Yokai Blade, carving straight through the shockwave and into Marshall D. Teach's palm—a strike sharp enough to sever it, sending a spray of blood into the air.
"Damn, that hurts!"
Marshall D. Teach instinctively recoiled, blood streaking his palm as his face darkened.
"After all this time, you still haven’t learned your lesson."
Kuro twisted his body mid-strike, then swung his leg upward in a brutal kick aimed at Marshall D. Teach's torso.
"You damned brat!"
Teach gritted his teeth, thrusting his bloodied fist forward to meet Kuro's leg.
Strength-wise, you’ll never match me—
Crash!
The kick slammed Teach’s arm backward, slamming both into his body. The force sent him flying like a cannonball, skidding across the ground for over ten meters, scattering rubble and carving a deep trench before crashing into a chunk of earth upheaved by the quake. A cloud of smoke and dust erupted on impact.
The thunderous collision drew everyone’s attention.
Crocodile’s crescent-shaped sand dune attack had narrowly missed Laffitte, who dodged mid-air. Now, Crocodile turned toward the commotion, exhaling smoke in surprise.
"Hey, I thought his strength wasn’t that overwhelming before."
They hadn’t noticed during his earlier clash with Luffy, but now, in close combat, they finally realized the truth.
They acknowledged Kuro’s unmatched lethality—even surpassing Sakazuki, the Grand Line’s strongest single-strike force. While Sakazuki’s scorching blows were devastating, Kuro’s piercing slashes held the edge, especially after eliminating Big·mom and Kaido. No one in the world could rival his killing power now.
Yet physical resilience was another matter. Among their ranks, it was common knowledge that Kuro’s durability paled compared to past Emperors and Admirals. That was his price.
Strength-wise, he was formidable, but how could he compare to Marshall D. Teach, who’d proven his durability at G-3?
Yet now—Kuro had just kicked Teach flying, even as the latter resisted.
"Damn, damn, that hurts!"
The smoke cleared, revealing Teach half-buried in the crater he’d made, clutching his chest and writhing.
Kuro flicked blood off his Yokai Blade, scowling. "Tch, you’re all the durable type. Real pain in the neck."
Marshall D. Teach’s endurance was legendary. Thanks to the Dark-Dark Fruit, he couldn’t elementalize, but he also suffered no residual damage—no severed limbs, just pain. Luffy, too, was a cockroach with regenerative energy. Both were freaks of resilience.
"Want to be Pirate King? You two should fight for Cockroach King instead", Kuro growled.
Teach staggered up, panting with blood dripping from his mouth, yet laughing. "That does hurt, you bastard!" He cackled, "Blackbeard’s Laugh!"
Whoosh!
A blood-red slash edged in black gold answered him.
Boom!
Teach’s laughter died as he shattered the slash with a punch, his fist erupting in black smoke—"Darkness Hollow Way!"
Before the technique could activate, Kuro vanished.
A gust of wind howled from Teach’s side, a razor-sharp aura slicing toward him.
Kuro reappeared, blade raised.
"Haa!"
Teach spun, catching the blade with his palm and redirecting the strike. His other hand shot out—"Darkness Hollow Way!"
A violent suction yanked Kuro forward, unavoidable for any Devil Fruit user.
Teach bared his teeth, clenching his fist. "Taste your medicine, Kuro!"
Crack!
The punch halted mid-air, blocked by an invisible force—Haki. A foreign pressure crushed Teach’s fist, halting its advance.
"You’re—"
Kuro twisted his wrist, flipping his body mid-air. His knee smashed into Teach’s skull.
"Idiot!!"
Crunch!
Teach’s massive body slammed into the ground, cratering it. Kuro hovered mid-air, blade aimed at Teach’s skull.
Clang!
The blade halted—a Haki barrier deflected it. Teach spun, springing sideways as his fist exploded into empty air, shockwaves rippling.
Kuro landed, absorbing the shockwave, then kicked Teach’s grounded body.
Boom!
The impact sent another shockwave outward. Teach flew, crashing into his own Blackbeard pirates rallying against the Navy, bowling them over like pins.
Before the pirates could react, Kuro exhaled sharply, eyes blazing with carnage. His body blurred into an afterimage, charging the group.
Hiss!
No visible slash—just a flash of crimson light. Heads soared into the sky.
The pirates finally rallied, gripping weapons glowing with Haki. "Protect the Admiral!"
Teach’s thousands of New World elite pirates formed a human wall, shielding their fallen commander.
Kuro emerged, voice icy. "You trash dare to dance too?"
"Shut up! Even if you’re strong, you’re just—"
The pirate’s "scared" died mid-sentence as Kuro’s blade cleaved him and his comrades, slicing through them with sheer air pressure.
Blood misted as Kuro’s expression twisted into a feral grin. He crouched, a panther poised to strike.
"Then dance for me!"
Whoosh!
Kuro launched forward, blade carving a spiral slash that bisected the front line. His mid-air form twisted, his palm slapping sideways, unleashing Haki to scatter another cluster.
"Aaaaah!!"
A pirate swung his blade, but Kuro landed, unmoving. His eyes locked onto the attacker—Killing Intent solidified, freezing the pirate in place, trembling, mind blank.
Hiss!
Kuro’s blade reduced them to pulp.
"You’re not worthy to dance!"
A crimson gleam flashed in his eyes. Yokai Blade swung—"Lion·Thousand Cutting Valleys!"
Hiss-hiss-hiss-hiss!
Spiraling slashes tore through the pirate wall, carving a bloody corridor.
Kuro strode down the carnage-littered path, eyes locked on Teach staggering to rise. He roared, "Marshall D. Teach! Today, you die here!"
