Chapter 1332: Let's Go!
Chapter 1332: Let's Go!
"And", Marshall D. Teach turned toward the gaping fishman, "Lar Gale."
"Ahh!" The Lanternfish Man opened his mouth wider, and from the depths of his throat poured thousands of pirates, each wearing confident, cruel smiles as they stood on the plaza shattered into massive segments.
"Old Man brought backup too!" Kuro glanced down at the seawater surging through the cracks, narrowing his eyes. "So that's how it is. No wonder we couldn't detect them—coming through the fishman's mouth."
This enormous fishman was acceptably large for a Seaundercover operation. They'd dug a hole underground, allowing Marshall D. Teach to use his ability to breakthrough from below.
Perhaps that's how Impel Down had fallen too.
A single Magellan couldn't stop the Blackbeard Pirates now.
But—
"Old Man isn't like Magellan."
He glanced at the Seven Warlords of the Sea ahead and barked, "Stop playing around!"
Whoosh!
The first to break through the battlefield was a swirling Sandstorm. Crocodile appeared beside Marshall D. Teach, biting his cigar as he sneered, "Tsk—Marshall D. Teach? I'd love to deal with you."
Next, a plume of steam drifted over. William, no longer facing Sanji, had found a new target—Blackbeard's crew. Fighting them was just as satisfying as fighting Luffy. Since Fleet Admiral Kuro had given the order, he didn't mind switching opponents.
Sharing the same thought was Joe Rudolph. Now staring at the massive fishman, he frowned, "Lanternfish Man? Another ancient type like the giants?"
Just as giants had ancient demon types, the oldest fishmen from the deep sea might've survived too. None were supposed to still be alive.
"He's called Lar Gale!" Marshall D. Teach slapped the fishman's cheek, shouting, "Old Man's new ally! And there are others too."
The middle-aged man with snow-white sideburns bowed to the approaching Seven Warlords of the Sea, smiling, "I'm Harald Reis. Some of you should recognize me. Right, Katakuri? Long time no see."
"Hmph, you're still alive?" Katakuri, scarf wrapped around his neck, held his trident upside-down, his voice icy. "Didn't Mother kill you back then?"
"How should I say it?" Reis's smile turned gentle. "Maybe I just have nine lives, or perhaps Big·mom never cared whether I lived or died. Either way, I survived—and"
His gentle smile suddenly twisted into a gruesome grin. His eyes bulged, his mouth stretching to his ears, "I've been dreaming of killing you bastards every second!"
Harald Reis—once Big·mom's husband. Under his hand, the Big Mom Pirates had grown strong. But he'd harbored forbidden ambitions, deluding himself into challenging Big·mom for supremacy. She'd put him on trial, yet somehow he'd survived.
Katakuri pointed his trident at Reis, "He's mine."
"No one's stealing him", Crocodile said coolly.
"Hey now, no need to get so tense. Blackbeard's Laugh."
Marshall D. Teach spread his arms, gesturing at the encircling Seven Warlords of the Sea, "You're pirates at heart—why sell your souls to the Navy? Join Old Man instead! Defeat Kuro, and we'll control the world! This opportunity won't last!"
"Cut the crap, Marshall D. Teach!" Buggy snapped. "What qualifications do you have to say that after killing your own captain?!"
He'd known Marshall D. Teach since childhood, back when the sleepless monster had left him with nothing but terrible impressions.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Crocodile's laugh rang high and sharp. "You're too arrogant, Marshall D. Teach. I don't think you have a chance."
"This one refuses to sink to your level", Boa Hancock, arriving at the edge, wore a disgusted expression.
"Blackbeard's Laugh—negotiations failed. If the Seven Warlords attack together, it'll be troublesome, but I don't care anymore."
Marshall D. Teach's smile turned gruesome. "Diverting the Seven Warlords to deal with me? Your own fronts will collapse too. Our goals align—right, Beckman?"
Ben Beckman, cigarette dangling, said nothing but aimed his gun at the Navy.
Even if their crews clashed, their current goal was the same—rescuing their captains required defeating Kuro. As pirates, their priority was clear: fight the Navy first.
Daidon pointed his spear at Boa Hancock, "Muruhuhu. Negotiations failed? Then I'll take that face!"
"Oh? Can't you handle Zoro for now?" Dracule Mihawk gripped his massive black blade, smirking at Shiryu. "Switching opponents works as a warm-up."
Didn't I sense you'd be eager?
"Let's go!"
Kuro charged straight at Marshall D. Teach without another word.
Fist clenched, Marshall D. Teach threw a punch toward Kuro.
"Krrrsh!!"
A shockwave erupted as air shattered, sending a massive tremor through the battlefield.
Within that shockwave, the seven beside Marshall D. Teach acted in unison. Their first instinct was to strike Kuro, but they were quickly intercepted.
Shiryu's blade met Dracule Mihawk's, "Hmph—Rainbow Shiryu? I've wanted to fight you for a while."
"Is that so? Don't get killed, Dracule Mihawk." Shiryu, cigarette in mouth, replied casually.
Laffitte found himself entangled with Crocodile.
"Oh huhu!" Laffitte spread his wings, soaring above Crocodile's sand-transformed lower body. "Sand Crocodile—choosing me as your opponent?"
"Hmph. You were the one who suggested giving my position to Blackbeard back then, right?" Crocodile sneered. "Time to settle that score."
"Muruhuhu." Daidon lunged at Boa Hancock with his spear. "I want your face, Boa Hancock!"
"Disgusting!" Boa Hancock spat. "Daring to covet this one's beauty? You're unworthy!"
Harald Reis faced off against Katakuri.
The massive fishman Lar Gale targeted Joe Rudolph.
And the Greasy Fat Man found himself opposite William.
"A clean, handsome man." The greasy man grinned disgustingly. "I hate them!"
"Is that so? Coincidentally, I hate you too." William's voice was cold.
Van Augur aimed his sniper rifle at the stunned Buggy, "Fate!"
"Eh? Why am I fighting you?!" Buggy screamed.
The Seven Warlords of the Sea faced off against seven captains. In Marshall D. Teach's faction, a blade emerged from the shockwave's path, slashing fiercely at its epicenter.
