Luffy struck first. His massive fist compressed at the arm like a spring, launching a punch that shattered through the air at blinding speed toward Kuro.
This wasn't his usual fourth gear. The fist's elasticity factor created pressure waves that made Kuro's skin prickle even before impact.

The blade slashed into the fist. The Yokai Blade's edge rebounded from the elasticity, but the counterforce sent shockwaves through both combatants. The deflected fists suddenly expanded, giant fists radiating Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki aura from above.

The twin fists engulfed Kuro's body, driving him downward with earth-shattering force. Rubble exploded outward, carving a massive crater that billowed smoke and dust.

Marco grinned, "How much—"

The crater erupted. Smoke cleared as a figure rose—unscathed save for dust-covered robes.
"Ah well."
The wind carried away Kuro's tattered hooded cloak, revealing his undamaged form.
"Hmph." Kuro exhaled, eyeing Luffy. "You ruined my thirty-million-Beri custom hooded cloak, old man."
"Eh! It was really that expensive?!"
Nami, mid-combat support while zapping Marines with lightning, perked up at the drifting garment.
Usopp smacked her head with a chop, "Now's not the time to geek out over fashion!"
Marco's pupils constricted. Luffy's attack should've been lethal—how could Kuro survive unscathed?
"No good? Then take this!"
Luffy's fists retracted again, but Kuro raised his hand.
"Absolute Domain!"
Chaos erupted around them. Luffy's airborne form spun wildly, his attack rhythm shattered by the spatial distortion.
"Tch, this junk—"
Luffy's chest expanded, elasticity repelling the chaotic air.
But the silk thread had already activated.
Kuro gripped the blade overhead, golden glow intensifying.

Sanji kicked through William's steam, charging forward. William seized the opening, condensing his form into a massive steam blade.

The strike ignited Sanji's body, but instead of desiccating him, the chef's skin turned red-hot as he kept running.
"A Vinsmoke cyborg?" William narrowed his eyes.
"Luffy!!"
Usopp and Nami screamed, rushing toward their fallen captain.
Zoro abandoned his duel with Dracule Mihawk, clashing blades before pivoting.
"What The Hell Are You Doing?!" Zoro bit Shusui, shouting, "You're our captain! The man who'll become King of the Pirates! How dare you collapse here!"
"Luuuuffffyyyy!!"
Jinbei punched away Joe Rudolph, momentarily dazed before charging forward.
Every officer moved as one.
"Tch."
Crocodile unleashed a sandstorm, sweeping attackers back. "As expected... you're not qualified."
Kuro landed beside the fallen Luffy. The boy's mouth hung open, smoke trailing his lips. The blade lifted.
"Must commend you—still clinging to life."
That strike had felled Big Mom herself. Luffy had merely grazed the edge of death—his endurance surpassed even the Four Emperors.
"But this ends now. No one will save you!"
Roar!
Flames engulfed the blade.
"Fire Wall!"
Whoosh!!
The flaming blade slashed forward, erupting into a wall of fire that blocked Luffy's crew.
Kuro raised the blade, eyes cold. "It's over, little brat with a dream."
The Yokai Blade descended.
Crack!
A fissure split the ground. Shockwaves erupted.
Boom! Boom!!
The entire plaza and Kuro's summoned island trembled. The earth cracked beneath Kuro's feet.
"Evil laugh!!"
A familiar arrogant laugh echoed.
