Chapter 1325: Fight!! Fight!!
Chapter 1325: Fight!! Fight!!
Kas's Devil Fruit grants acceptableacceleration, amplifying speed tenfold. This made the white energy move incredibly fast. However, against three Dougleg Navy members, it wasn't that Kuro lacked confidence—it was simply a matter of objective reality.
If sheer confidence alone could accomplish everything in this world, everyone would achieve their dreams, and there wouldn't be so many unresolved regrets.
Yet the bearded man was brimming with passionate determination, and Kuro had no intention of discouraging him. After all, aside from being a bit of a liability to himself, he was a textbook model Navy officer. Besides, now that he'd become Fleet Admiral, Kas had stopped backstabbing him ever since he himself became Vice Admiral. Kas now treated him as a reliable subordinate—because, frankly, he was just that effective.
But three hundred men...
What could they possibly achieve?
"Moer."
Kuro called out.
Whoosh!
A streak of white light appeared on the execution platform. Moer yawned, scratching his head as he materialized. "Coming, coming."
"Stop slacking off. If Kas and Wilbur run into trouble, you're to step in. Don't crush their morale, but don't let them get hurt either", Kuro said.
Moer was essentially an emergency responder. Though the men deployed were elite, Kuro had prepared for contingencies. Moer's immovable presence here was precisely for this purpose. If any Navy officer sustained Severe Injury and could no longer combat, Moer's role would immediately come into play.
The rear hospital remained on standby. If needed, Moer would teleport the wounded there instantly, ensuring not a shred of combat power was wasted.
"Wait, you want me to rescue Vice Admiral Kas?"
Moer raised an eyebrow. "Me? That doesn't make sense. Vice Admiral Kas is way stronger than me."
"I'm not worried about him in large-scale battles", Kuro replied. "But with only three hundred men, though he claims they're elite, how much impact can three hundred really have? Their courage deserves praise, but strength still requires logic."
Kuro knew Kas's recklessness all too well. During the War of the Best, Kas had once led a ragtag group of small fries to confront Whitebeard's captains head-on. Now, three hundred men taking on over a hundred giants was normal for him—but casualties were inevitable.
Moer scratched his head. "I think it's unnecessary. Those really are elite."
As he spoke, Kuro's eyes suddenly widened. The white energy surged outward, expanding like a tidal wave upward toward Yamato, engulfing all the hundred-plus giant pirates.
His vision was sharp enough to see the truth.
It wasn't just energy—within the white aura, the Navy officers' bodies were rapidly growing, weapons in hand swelling alongside them. They looked as if they'd all consumed the Giant's Devil Fruit, towering like titans.
"Tenfold!"
"Tenfold!"
Inside the white energy, Kas and Wilbur slammed their chests, their forms erupting into Tenfold Speed-enhanced giants. Three hundred Navy officers transformed into colossal figures, eyes glowing white. If not for their Navy uniforms, Kuro would've thought they'd all turned into light itself.
"Ultraman?" Kuro exclaimed, stunned. "Is this a joke? Can they actually do this? Wilbur's ability—it was supposed to only affect himself and objects! Since when could he Amplify others?!"
The concept of giants with Tenfold Speed was staggering.
Kuro couldn't even grasp its full implications. All he saw was the white energy encircling the battlefield. Three giant Navy officers, moving at Tenfold Speed, descended upon a single giant pirate—and the enemy crumpled like dominoes, shaking the plaza with tremors like an earthquake.
"Hey, you've gotta be kidding me!" A pirate's face paled. "That was the Giant Pirate Crew! They collapsed just like that?!"
Before the pirate could process the shock, three hundred white-energy-charged giants turned their direction. Eyes glowing, expressions as emotionless as Dougleg Navy doctrine, they loomed with oppressive pressure.
In that moment, humanity remembered the terror of being ruled by giants...
Well, except there was no such historical precedent here.
Wilbur, now incarnated as a giant, hoisted a rocket launcher onto his shoulder, aiming at the pirates. With a thunderous roar, he bellowed: "Tatakae!! Tatakae!!!"
Boom!!
A massive rocket streaked forward, detonating into a mushroom cloud among the pirate ranks. The plaza shuddered from the shockwave.
"Now this is a spectacle", Kuro said, a malevolent grin spreading on the execution platform. "The pirates are in for a rough time."
The white energy's defensive power alone would have given him pause. Combined with their colossal forms and speed, these pirates stood little chance of survival.
If Big Mom were still alive, witnessing this scene would have made her immediately try to kidnap Kas and Wilbur to become her husbands. It would satisfy both her obsession with childbirth and her giant fetish.
"Final Attack!"
Just as the giant Navy officers prepared to strike, a voice echoed across the battlefield. A swarm of green seeds flew in, landing at the feet of the giants. The seeds fused with the ground, sprouting into thick vines. Each vine bore man-eating plants, wrapping around the Navy officers' lower bodies, pinning them in place.
"Charge forward!"
Usopp appeared on the battlefield, shouting. "Though we can't defeat them directly, restraining them is feasible!"
Under the overwhelming oppressive pressure of the giants, a capable officer from the Straw Hat Pirates stepped forward to stabilize the situation.
"OH!! Godusopp! Godusopp!"
"Truly the Straw Hat Pirates' officer! He actually stopped those giants with one move!"
"Let's rush to the execution platform!!"
The pirates erupted in cheers, dashing past the immobilized giants toward the platform.
"This thing?!"
Kas struggled against the vines binding him. The harder he pulled, the tighter they constricted, preventing him from executing any maneuvers.
Is this the nature of these vines?
As Kas fought the restraints, a group of pirates darted past him.
"Pretty clever—using softness to overcome hardness", Kuro remarked, raising an eyebrow toward Usopp. He then turned to the shoreline. "Hey, it's time. Are you just going to watch from there?"
Whoosh!
A responding gust of sand surged forward.
"Scythe of the Crescent Dune!"
The sand transformed into Crocodile's upper body. With a swing of his arm, a crescent-shaped blade of desert energy sliced through the air. The pirates sensed the attack, covering their weapons with Haki to block.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Even so, the impact sent them flying backward in unison. Arms and legs alike withered slightly from the strike.
Crocodile, cigar clenched in his teeth, hovered midair, silently surveying the battlefield below.
The Seven Warlords of the Sea had arrived.
