Chapter 1324: Chaotic Battle
Chapter 1324: Chaotic Battle
Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!
The moment the two armies clashed, blood sprayed violently.
Aokiji’s hair whipped wildly behind his head, twisting into six delicate arm-like tendrils that coiled around incoming blades. With his dual blades flashing, he sliced through the enemy ranks, leaving trails of blood in his wake.
Togeko Vice Admiral surged forward, darting across the battlefield. Each swing of his blade sent arcs of blood soaring.
Dalmatian transformed into his beastman form, his fists smashing through pirates who flew backward like ragdolls.
Though not all the veteran elite Vice Admirals had arrived, their combat prowess was undeniably formidable.
Hiss!
Blue Demon Dorry struck first, cleaving down a charging giant Navy soldier with a single sword slash. His massive longsword, which seemed disproportionately large compared to others, swung sideways to target Aokiji.
The air pressure from that strike momentarily froze Aokiji in place. The descending longsword, far from sluggish, moved with blinding speed.
Aokiji grunted coldly, raising eight blades to block the blow overhead.
Boom!
The ground beneath him erupted in smoke and dust, sending rubble flying.
“Bap-bap-bap-bap!” Dorry laughed as he landed the hit.
Whoosh!
But in an instant, Stress leapt from the crowd, driving a blade into Dorry’s shoulder. Blood gushed as the wound opened.
Yet the moment Stress landed on Dorry’s shoulder, a massive axe slammed down, sending Stress flying.
“Lalala, don’t get careless!” Brook chuckled.
Below him, Navy soldiers drew firearms, unleashing bullets. However, a flurry of afterimages blocked the shots—Mink Tribe warriors, their animalistic features prominent, shielded the group. After repelling the bullets, they surged from all directions, overwhelming the shooters.
“Impact Tide: Chaotic Winds!”
As the Mink Tribe charged, a voice rang out from the Navy ranks. A chaotic shockwave erupted, blasting the Mink Tribe warriors backward like leaves in a storm.
Sazil emerged from the blast, clenching his fist with a malevolent grin.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
On another front, pirates fired pistols at advancing enemies. One pirate, gripping his gun tightly, unleashed a Haki-infused shot that struck a Navy soldier’s waist mid-duel with his comrade. The Navy soldier recoiled in pain, only for an arrow to pierce his forehead, blooming a crimson flower.
Ju Geng loosed several arrows with precision, each finding a pirate’s vital spot. He exhaled sharply, shaking his head before drawing another arrow from his belt.
“Oh? You want to take me on?”
Fen Ni, clad in a flowing robe, stood with arms crossed, tilting her head at the encircling pirates. Her Devil Fruit-enhanced chest swayed with the motion, ripe and alluring.
The pirates tightened their grip on their blades, advancing step by step.
Fen Ni sighed, raising her palm toward them. “Then go ahead and catch a nasty illness. Once you’re bedridden, you’ll have nothing left.”
Cough! Cough! Cough!
“Haaah… I can’t breathe!”
“My body… it’s burning up!”
One by one, the surrounded pirates clutched themselves, their faces contorting in agony before collapsing with wails.
Bang!
A bullet zipped from afar, targeting Fen Ni’s chest. But in the next instant, a flicker of energy deflected it, sending the projectile flying.
Klah, in beastman form, charged forward across the battlefield, glancing at Fen Ni. “Don’t get careless!”
Boom!
Hardly had the words left his mouth when a giant’s foot came crashing down. The impact sent Klah airborne, spinning mid-air before landing.
Before him stood nearly a hundred giant pirates, weapons raised, glaring with murder in their eyes.
They’d been watching him. He’d already claimed many of their lives since the battle began. Now, they wouldn’t let him escape.
“Tch, you giants again.”
Klah cracked his neck, eyes hardening. “You’re not getting past me!”
The Giants—Grand Line’s strongest race. A single giant’s strength could rival a Navy Vice Admiral. A hundred of them? Overwhelming combat power.
To face them, he’d have to fight with everything he had!
Whoosh!
A giant pirate lunged first, swinging his blade downward.
Klah moved to counter—but a surge of white energy blocked the strike.
Clang!
The blade rebounded from the energy, vibrating the giant’s arm.
“What the hell is this?” The giant shook his wrist, staring at the white energy.
To the giant’s eyes, it resembled a shimmering pool of water, faintly distorted. Within its depths, shadowy figures seemed to shift.
Klah blinked. “Kas? Wilbur?”
“Leave them to us!”
Wilbur’s voice echoed from within the energy. “Handle the rest of the battlefield—we’ll deal with these giants!”
“Got it. Stay sharp!”
Klah didn’t hesitate, darting behind the energy shield. Like a wolf among sheep, he tore through the pirate ranks, leaving a crimson storm in his wake.
“Get out of the way!!”
The sword-wielding giant struck again, but the white energy held firm, absorbing the blow. The recoil sent tremors up his arm, numbing his fingers.
“Of course not, you wicked pirates!”
The energy solidified into a shield, revealing faint outlines of a bearded man and a mustachioed officer within.
“I am the Justice Shield! In the name of Justice, you will not take a single step past this point!!”
“Little pests! Don’t dare hinder us!”
The giants behind roared, launching their assault.
Within the white energy, Kas inhaled deeply. “We said you won’t pass! Wilbur—show them the might of our Justice and Greatness!”
“Oooh!!”
Wilbur crouched low, his eyes blazing with white-hot intensity beneath the energy.
The white energy spread, engulfing the giants’ feet.
Now the giants saw—the energy contained dozens of Navy soldiers, each trio encircling a single foe.
Kas, a commander, had brought roughly three hundred men.
Kuro, watching, furrowed his brow. Given Kas’s nature, he’d usually bring overwhelming numbers. Why only three hundred this time?
Three thousand would’ve been ideal, a force capable of matching Lucius’s legendary defenses.
But with just three hundred, could this elite formation even hold?
Yet Kas and Wilbur stood resolute. Kuro said nothing—he’d already decided not to rely on Kas as the main force.
The true core, Kuro had already chosen for himself.
As the white energy expanded, Kuro narrowed his eyes. “This number… can it really harm giants? Can it truly hold them back?”
