Chapter 131: The God of Cursed Techniques
Chapter 131: The God of Cursed Techniques
Six kilometers, seven kilometers, eight kilometers...
The expansion of his domain showed no signs of slowing down. The sheer volume of cursed energy pouring in made even Luk feel a bit overwhelmed. He exhaled, feeling a strange transformation taking place within his body.
Every inch of his skin glowed with a radiant light, and every part of him was undergoing the finest adjustments. His senses became so acute that it was hard to describe, and a flood of information surged into his mind.
The sensation was akin to being dragged into an endless void, but the key difference was that he could now handle the vast amount of information with ease. The essence of a cursed spirit was still a spirit, and while the energy it contained was significant, the nourishment it provided to the soul was even more substantial.
Nine kilometers, ten kilometers, eleven kilometers...
The expansion of his domain continued without pause, but the rate at which cursed spirits emerged began to slow. When the number of cursed spirits he absorbed reached ten million, Luk felt a jolt in his heart.
Boom—
His thoughts suddenly expanded infinitely, and he felt his soul undergo a profound transformation, as if breaking through a significant barrier. An indescribable sense of comfort and relief washed over him.
The range of his perception technique expanded and expanded, encompassing the entire country of Japan and the surrounding seas. In that instant, the radius of his domain surged from eleven kilometers to one hundred kilometers, then stabilized.
The final few techniques were also completed simultaneously.
Naruto Luk's technique—【Master of All Techniques】: Ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, secret techniques—everything is a technique, allowing him to use a vast array of techniques from other worlds that he has memorized.
Bleach Luk's technique—【Eternal Shinigami】: Can transform into a spirit body, reducing cursed energy consumption by half and increasing speed, while techniques deal double damage to spirit bodies.
Elden Ring Luk's technique—【Data Visualization】: During use, both enemies and allies are immune to fatal injuries. Killing a certain number of enemies grants a minor boost.
His vision rapidly ascended, and with a shift of his consciousness, he found himself back in the pure white space.
The Hall of Creation, the Chamber of Truth, the Crown of the Gods...
Or, the Source of Techniques!
"Meeting again."
The boy, with his gentle features, black eyes, and wine-red hair, lounged casually on the ancient stone chair, just as he had before. He smiled at Luk.
"You've come faster than I expected, new god."
"I didn't think I'd be back here so soon either."
Hearing the title, Luk tentatively asked, "Am I considered a god now?"
Could he now chat with other Lucks and casually mention his godhood?
Thank you for the invitation, I'm in the world of cursed techniques, and I just became a god!
"Ah... You should know that the definition of a god varies from world to world. In some worlds, gods can be born, age, and die. In others, gods will fade away if no one worships them. In some, gods are all-powerful." The boy explained gently.
"According to this world, if the quality and quantity of energy within your body meet the criteria, you can be called a demigod. If the quality further improves and you master a concept, or become the source of a concept, you can be considered a god."
"So, am I a demigod now?" Luk counted on his fingers.
"The quantity has met the criteria, and the quality has improved significantly, though it's still a bit short. You are now considered a quasi-god."
The boy lifted his head slightly, giving him a gentle smile, then raised his hand, causing the pristine white space to glow. Countless light orbs appeared in the air.
"Remember these light orbs?"
"Yes."
Luk looked at the orbs and said, "Each orb represents a technique."
"Last time, you didn't have the necessary permissions to read them, but now you do. There are a total of thirteen thousand techniques here. Once you master all of them, you will become the God of Cursed Techniques."
"Thirteen thousand..."
Luk couldn't help but twitch his lips. How long would it take to learn all of them? He only had a dozen or so techniques so far!
"Don't worry too much. Techniques are like other knowledge—once you master one, the others become easier. You'll learn faster and faster."
The boy winked at him, "This world has never had a god before. If you ascend to the throne, you will be the only god of this world. Congratulations."
"Aren't you the god?"
He remembered the boy calling himself the 【God of Earth】, which sounded more prestigious than "God of Cursed Techniques."
"I'm not a god of this world. I'm just filling in for someone else."
With that, the boy stood up from the chair and stretched lazily.
"Alright, it's time to go. After I become a god, feel free to drop by if you have the time."
With a final wave to Luk, the young man's figure slowly faded away.
"Thirteen thousand... of them..."
Luk rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on as he looked at the glowing orbs, each one reminding him of a high school exam review book.
Well, it's best to head back first. I can learn the spells anytime!
...
After returning to his body, Luk felt the oppressive weight lift from his shoulders. The world seemed exceptionally welcoming, and the surrounding curse energy eagerly responded to him without any effort on his part.
He quickly subdued the last few dozen special-grade curse spirits, or rather, special-grade ingredients, using the Spirit Summoning technique. Luk then calmed his breathing, retracting the radiant light that had enveloped his body.
"Woof! Woof!"
A few barks echoed, and two dogs, followed by Nanami Kento, Yosuke Nails, and Satoru Gojo, ran over. They eagerly circled around Luk, rubbing their heads against his legs.
Nobara Kugisaki and Yuji Itadori, carrying Rimuru, also approached.
"Luk."
"Luk-sensei, my curse hammer is broken."
"Explain this to me. How did I end up with a slap mark on my face?"
"Wait, wait, wait."
Luk raised a hand, "One at a time. Let's deal with Sukuna first."
Sukuna, with his two faces and four hands, stopped resisting. He looked at Luk, whose eyes now held a divine indifference, and gave a self-deprecating smile.
"Are you a god?"
At this moment, Luk's incredible display made him seem like a god on earth.
"Not yet, but I'm working on it."
Luk answered honestly. The thought of those thirteen thousand orbs made his head ache. Even as an adult, he couldn't escape the destiny of learning, which was quite a headache.
"Why did you create me like this?" Sukuna clearly didn't believe him, staring straight at him.
Ugly, deformed, yet powerful.
"My dear, this is a genetic mutation, not my doing."
Luk didn't want to take the blame for something he didn't cause. Besides, he wasn't a god, let alone one who controlled childbirth. And Sukuna was born a thousand years ago, so it wasn't like he could have influenced that.
"Besides, you ate your twin brother while still in the womb. Now you're acting pitiful?"
Sukuna was a born evil, and there was no need to explain it further.
Luk, tired of the banter, stepped forward and swiftly extracted Sukuna's soul.
He hadn't done this before because Sukuna's soul was too well-integrated with Yuji's, making it impossible to separate them precisely. He had to wait for Sukuna to transfer his consciousness to another body, which was why he had stopped Nobara Kugisaki.
Otherwise, why would he let Sukuna possess Megumi Fushiguro? Was he trying to make Satoru Gojo's job harder?
He wasn't that kind of person!
As Luk moved, Megumi's body trembled and expelled nineteen fingers, gradually returning to its original form.
While the fingers could be handled by Food as Heaven, Luk still had a bit of a phobia about human flesh. Peppered chicken feet were his limit.
Looking at the restless spirit of Sukuna, who was still trying to bite with his two mouths, Luk pulled out the Prison Gate and tossed him inside.
Killing him outright would be too easy. He planned to stuff Sukuna's soul into a Fijian Cup, which had two openings, and then give it to a homeless person.
He could make it durable, adding antibacterial and drainage functions, so it could be passed down as a family heirloom.
From generation to generation, forever and ever.
"Sukuna-sama!"
Rimuru, in Nobara Kugisaki's hands, let out a shocking scream.
"Too noisy." Luk's gaze shifted to Rimuru, and the next moment, her head exploded, splattering Nobara Kugisaki with blood.
"Hey, hey, hey! You can't treat a beautiful lady like that!"
Nobara Kugisaki was furious, lodging a complaint.
"Shut up, you insignificant extra."
Luk's gaze turned to Kento, who flinched and lowered his head. He placed the body of Yuta Okkotsu on the ground, then undid the sutures, allowing the writhing brain to come out and curl up, awaiting judgment.
"Not bad."
He nodded, "Kakashi, take care of this."
Satoru Gojo didn't speak. His eyes were cold as he lifted his foot and crushed the brain, grinding it into the ground.
"I didn't even know when he sacrificed himself."
He looked at the body of Yuta Okkotsu, his eyes filled with sorrow, "I wasn't a good teacher."
“Don’t be so pessimistic. It’s not like we can’t save them.”
“Save them?” Satoru Gojo stared at Luk with surprise and hope.
Luk stroked his chin, “Remember when Yuta Okkotsu was attacked? The Spirit Summoning Ritual could even bring back Fushiguro Megumi, who had been dead for over ten years. Why can’t we summon Yuji, who just died recently?”
The same logic applied to Juzo Shinohara. Even though they weren’t friends, and he wasn’t the one who killed her, she was caught up in the chaos because of him. Resurrection was necessary.
They needed their own version of the Edo Tensei!
“The Spirit Summoning Ritual will continuously drain cursed energy. Once it’s depleted, the person will…” Gojo stopped mid-sentence.
With Luk’s cursed energy, it would likely take a lifetime to deplete it.
“As for complete resurrection, I’ll start preparing once I learn the Reincarnation Jutsu. It won’t be long.”
Luk patted Gojo’s shoulder, answering with confidence.
Gojo interpreted this as Luk planning to develop a resurrection technique. While he found the idea absurd, he couldn’t help but believe that Luk might actually pull it off.
“Teacher Luk, save Suzume! Please save Suzume too!”
Tsubaki heard this and quickly chimed in, afraid of being left out.
Shichimiya finally couldn’t hold back either, “Can you save Hiyori?”
“Save, save, save. I’ll save everyone, okay?”
Luk’s head was starting to hurt from all the noise, so he decided to agree to everything.
Saving one person or a group of people didn’t make much difference in a world where the line between life and death wasn’t so rigid. Resurrection wasn’t that difficult.
Fushiguro Yuji, who had just regained consciousness, was awakened by the commotion. He looked at Tsubaki, who was unharmed, and then at Gojo, whose upper and lower body were still connected. He hesitated before speaking.
“Teacher Gojo, I dreamed that I summoned a full-curse and it crushed Tsubaki, and then cut you in half.”
“It wasn’t a dream.” x2
Tsubaki smirked and cracked her knuckles, while Gojo smiled and raised his finger, a small blue curse forming at the tip.
Yuji’s expression turned to one of sheer panic, “Tiger, save me!”
Tiger didn’t move, laughing heartily as he tried to mediate, “Teacher Gojo, Tsubaki, don’t be too angry. You only lost your lives, but Yuji was possessed by Sukuna!”
Yuji looked at Tiger in disbelief, unable to believe he was being betrayed by his best friend.
Amidst the chaos, Luk pulled Shichimiya to a different spot and pointed to the immobilized cursed spirit on the ground.
“This one is for you to exorcise.”
Shichimiya Kenjou pushed his glasses up, a bit confused, “Aren’t you going to eat it?”
“I had a plate of vegetable salad. This human-type cursed spirit isn’t on my menu.” Luk waved his hand, urging him on, and even pulled out his phone to record the process.
“Hurry up, hurry up.”
Shichimiya still didn’t understand, but he obediently picked up his blade and used the Ten Slash Cursed Technique with precision.
Thud—
The sound of the blade slicing through the body echoed, and the cursed spirit dissipated into the air.
“Phew~”
Luk let out a long breath and looked up at the blue sky.
Finally, he felt at ease.
I won’t go into the later parts of Jujutsu Kaisen. The anime adaptation is pretty good, so it’s best to end it here.
Honestly, writing a fanfiction about Jujutsu Kaisen has been a headache. The ratings have been dropping, but no matter what, a story needs a proper beginning and end.
To be frank, the issue with writing fanfiction is that many people haven’t read the original. Aside from the big-name series like Death Note, Naruto, and One Piece, there are always people who haven’t seen the anime.
If they haven’t seen it, they won’t understand or be interested. Even if they do get into it, you have to keep explaining the setting, but if you write too much about the setting, the fans of the original will find it too watered down. It’s a bit of a headache.
To be honest, writing about Jujutsu Kaisen wasn’t a must.
I used to be a fan of the anime and thought it was pretty good. Before writing, I watched Jujutsu Kaisen five times and read the manga explanations three times, referencing the timeline compiled by the Jujutsu Kaisen community. I wasted a lot of time, so even though the later parts were a mess, I felt it would be a waste not to write it. (╥╯﹏╰╥)
Regardless, thank you to all the readers who have stuck with me until the end. I’m grateful to those who are fans of the original and have read this far.
And to those who haven’t seen the original but have still read this far, I really appreciate your support! Thank you!
