Chapter 1272: Enemies Unite
Chapter 1272: Enemies Unite
2023-12-15
While Su Yu and his companions were immersed in their studies, on a distant planet known as "Kite 02," things were stirring.
Kite 02 was a remote and unremarkable planet located on the outskirts of the Figer Hub's jurisdiction. Similar to Earth, it was a planet that the Figer Hub paid little attention to. Despite its insignificance, Kite 02 was home to a civilization that had developed to a level comparable to that of the Skrull planet.
Although Kite 02 was a minor planet, it was well-known within the rebel organizations. It served as a major stronghold for the "Cultural Preservationists," a group with many active members.
The Cultural Preservationists were one of the five major rebel organizations. While they were rebels, they were much more moderate compared to others. Their primary goal was to preserve their civilization's culture, preventing it from being eroded by the influence of the Holy Silver culture, which could lead to their civilization's "Holy Silverization" and eventual extinction.
Many indigenous civilizations had met this fate. After being exposed to the cultural shock of the Holy Silver Federation, their fragile cultural foundations could not withstand the impact. Over several generations, their original cultures vanished, and even their languages and scripts were no longer used.
The Cultural Preservationists aimed to preserve their culture to the greatest extent possible. They believed that each culture had unique and brilliant cultural treasures that should shine on the grand stage of the universe, rather than being buried in the sands of time.
Thus, they refused to submit to the Holy Silver rule and existed as a rebel organization in various corners of the galaxy and the Holy Silver system.
In the past, the Holy Silver authorities had no intention of dealing with these Cultural Preservationists. These groups were harmless, and the increase in cultural diversity was beneficial for the stability of the civilization. As long as these places paid their taxes on time, the Holy Silver authorities left them alone.
However, the Holy Silver authorities did not anticipate that shortly after their disappearance, the Cultural Preservationists would form an alliance with the notorious Dark Energy Rebels.
In the past, the Cultural Preservationists and the Dark Energy Rebels had a clear boundary between them, and they never interfered with each other's activities.
But with the Holy Silver authorities gone, the suppressed desires began to surface. Who wouldn't want to expand their territory?
Thus, in the northern polar region of Kite 02, a secret meeting between the leaders of both organizations took place.
"Friends from the Dark Energy Rebels, have you found Su Yu's home planet?" In an underground chamber in the northern polar region, a tall, elderly man with a warm smile looked at the three individuals across from him.
The old man's appearance was similar to that of a human, but unlike humans, his race stood over three meters tall, with vibrant red skin and a unicorn-like horn in the center of his forehead. He wore a colorful and elaborate outfit, but his demeanor exuded a solemn and dignified presence, clearly marking him as a high-ranking member of the Cultural Preservationists. Indeed, he was a rare Planetary-level existence within the organization.
Sitting across from him were three ordinary-looking Holy Silver individuals, all dressed in white, representing the Dark Energy Rebels. In fact, over 60% of the Dark Energy Rebels were Holy Silver, a race with exceptional talent and longevity, which naturally produced many extremists.
In response to the question, the Dark Energy Rebel leader sighed and shook his head. "No, we haven't found it. We investigated the coordinates, but there is no star system at that location."
“Oh? So it seems Su Yu filled out false information about his home planet when he joined the Fegor Guard?”
“Yes, it’s definitely false. I can be sure of that!”
“Hmm…” The high-ranking member of the Spark Preservers thought for a moment and said, “Let’s handle this. We’ll both report to our superiors. You inform your leader, the Divine Master, and I’ll inform mine.”
“Alright, then… What about after that… Will we continue our cooperation?”
“After? I think our superiors will still send us Su Yu’s location information. It’s said that the Crystal Blue faction is already making a full-scale invasion of the Saintong Corporation. Once they get the exact coordinates of the teleportation services provided to Su Yu, we’ll be able to find his home planet.”
“Alright, we’ll have to wait until then. I sincerely hope to continue our cooperation, Lord Crow.”
…
…
The scene returns to Su Yu on Blue Star.
Unbeknownst to him, seven days had swiftly passed, and it was now January 1, 2122.
It had been half a year since the battle against the Skrullians.
After seven days of intensive study, Su Yu and his companions had mastered all the knowledge needed to reshape their physical bodies.
Although the weather was bitterly cold, this minor inconvenience had almost no effect on them.
Thus, they were ready to begin the process today.
At 9 AM, Su Yu led everyone out of their tent and slowly made their way to the plot of land where they would construct the "Eternal Spring."
They walked at a leisurely pace, discussing their plans as they went.
“So, it’s settled. We’ll use the template of the SINGER human race to reshape the humans of Blue Star,” Ailiji said as she scrolled through the virtual panel displaying data on various human races.
The SINGER humans were the most talented and had the highest overall stats among all known human races, surpassing even the Saint Silver humans by a significant margin!
On paper, the SINGER humans and the Saint Silver humans were quite similar, and in terms of cultivation, the Saint Silver humans even had a slight edge.
However, the SINGER humans had one advantage that far outstripped the others: they almost never needed to sleep!
As everyone knew, the Saint Silver humans required a lot of sleep, spending 16 hours out of every 24 sleeping, leaving them only half the time to be awake.
In contrast, the SINGER humans almost never needed to sleep. They only required a four to five-day rest every 42 days, and the rest of the time, they were always energetic and alert!
This characteristic made the SINGER humans the superior choice.
Su Yu was determined to use the best template to help everyone reshape their physical bodies.
The stronger everyone was, the stronger Su Yu would be.
However, the SINGER humans had blue skin, fangs, and a face that didn’t align with Blue Star’s aesthetic standards.
So, Su Yu planned to use the SINGER template as the base, complete the basic structure of the body, and then overlay it with a Blue Star human appearance. The final result would be the "New Blue Star Humans"!
Of course, Su Yu and his companions had considered the idea of creating "authentic" Blue Star humans.
"Authentic" Blue Star humans would avoid any discomfort and had the significant advantage of being cheaper to create.
But after careful consideration, they realized that the original Blue Star humans were simply not competitive in the broader universe, being far weaker compared to other human races. Thus, Su Yu opted for the current plan.
