Chapter 122: Words on Going Live!
Chapter 122: Words on Going Live!
After about two months of writing, it's finally time to go live.
This is my first signed book and my first book to go live. I want to thank Editor Xiao Yuan for recognizing the book and supporting it all the way.
Let's talk about my thoughts on writing this book—
If any reader has the idea of starting a book, perhaps this will be of some help.
The first few ten thousand words were relatively easy for me to write, as the focus was mainly on the main character, and I didn't interfere much with the plot. This stage went smoothly, and I was confident in saying that my writing speed wasn't slow.
But that's just my black history...
As the main character became more involved in the plot and had a greater impact, the writing became increasingly time-consuming.
By around 160,000 to 170,000 words, this issue became very apparent.
While typing, I often had to consider whether the characters were aware of certain plot threads, what a young wizard's opinion of the main character was, and whether their actions were reasonable.
Or, for a minor character mentioned in passing, I had to use limited information to deduce their personality.
Or, if I had a new idea, I had to figure out how to logically incorporate it, ensuring it didn't conflict with the original work.
All of this, plus the time spent repeatedly revising chapters...
And so on.
I originally set my update times for 6:30 AM and 11:41 AM, but these times often slipped a bit because I was still making last-minute revisions.
Of course, through this process, I've also experienced a lot of joy. The encouragement and support from readers, and the satisfaction of telling an interesting story, have been very fulfilling.
I love the feeling that Harry Potter gives me, so I've poured that love into this book. I hope that every kind person in the original story can have a better ending.
Thank you all for your continuous support and encouragement. Every step I take now is breaking my personal record, and this wouldn't be possible without each reader's love for the book.
I hope you will continue to support the book and me, even if it's just your first subscription.
The first subscription and the 24-hour subscription are very important, as they largely determine the book's future recommendations. So, I sincerely ask for your support once again!
Now, let's talk about the important update issues.
Going Live—Mass Updates—
Today, I plan to update six chapters. The first update will be around noon, and the subsequent five chapters will be released gradually.
Patron Extra Chapters—
Regarding the additional chapters for patrons, I have set it to seven chapters, which will be completed within this week (since I don't have any saved chapters).
Regular Updates After Publication—
I hope to maintain a stable update of three chapters per day, with the possibility of taking a one or two-day break occasionally, but I will ensure at least two updates.
...
Finally, I must emphasize that the author values subscriptions the most. The more subscriptions, the more motivated the author will be.
I'm begging for your first subscriptions!
Han Yousi, bowing in gratitude.
