"I apologize, Third Hokage-sama," Mu Yue said, his face filled with guilt as he looked at Hiruzen Sarutobi.
"There's no need for you to apologize, Mu Yue. Instead, I should be thanking you for helping with Asuma," Hiruzen Sarutobi said with a kind smile.
Their relationship had been a bit strained over the past few days, but after Mu Yue's lesson during the weekend, it had improved significantly. Hiruzen Sarutobi naturally knew whom to credit for this change.
Asuma also had some influence in this matter, as he held a certain degree of authority.
"Actually, I was sent to the Ninja Academy by the Root Organization..." Mu Yue confessed guiltily.

By feigning indifference, Danzo believed he was securing a better future for Mu Yue under the Third Hokage's guidance.
Mu Yue couldn't help but feel exasperated. After a day of having his favorability increased by the Third Hokage, he now had to endure Danzo's manipulative scrolls in the evening. It was indeed an eventful day.
By the end of the day, Mu Yue felt his acting skills had improved significantly.
Mu Yue spent ten minutes practicing calligraphy to calm his mind before delving into the study of contract seals.
