Level Eater is a card frequently used by Yusei Fudo in the anime. By reducing the Level of a five-star or higher monster on the field by one, it can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Even more incredibly, this effect isn’t limited to once per turn.
Its power is self-evident. In the modern Yu-Gi-Oh! world, this card is practically a world-destroying artifact, capable of being repeatedly Special Summoned from the Graveyard without limit, whether used as a speed-up tool, a burn card, or as material for various plays.
Of course, in the 5D’s era, it hadn’t been banned yet, indicating that the Yu-Gi-Oh! environment hadn’t yet spiraled out of control as it would in the future. Even so, this insect has already shown considerable potential in the current version.

A fist engulfed in rocket flames burst through the light, followed by a blue-armored warrior with a trail of flames and electrical arcs swirling around him. He performed a stylish split in mid-air, a move that has earned him the nickname "Split Warrior" among card enthusiasts.

"Attack!" Yusei Fudo commanded. "Use 'Junk Warrior' to attack 'Chaos Phantom'!"
While Chaos Phantom’s effects are powerful, they can only be activated during its controller’s turn. Outside of its turn, it reverts to its true form, a puddle of slime with 0 Attack Power. This is one of the card’s key weaknesses.
Yusei Fudo raised his hand and shouted, as if his voice could enhance Junk Warrior’s punch.
"Waste Fist!"
"Predictable, Yusei Fudo. You always seize every opportunity to forge your own path", Youxuan smiled.
"But letting you pass so easily would make me look careless."
With that, he snapped his fingers.
"I activate my face-down Trap Card, 'Magic Cylinder'!"
The crowd gasped.
Youxuan flipped his backfield, indicating his direct inheritance of the original king’s will, and unleashed a "Too Strong.jpg" effect.
A pair of magical cylinders appeared on the field, and Junk Warrior’s punch was absorbed into one of them. The energy was then channeled into the other cylinder, which began to reverse, preparing to retaliate.
"Magic Cylinder negates the attack of the monster that declared the attack and deals damage equal to that monster’s Attack Power to the opponent."
Youxuan explained.
"Take 2300 points of damage from 'Junk Warrior'!"
"Nice try!"
Jack Atlas barked.
"You’re not just facing Yusei Fudo alone!
I activate my face-down Counter Trap, 'Crimson Inferno Ball'!"
Yusei Fudo looked at Jack Atlas with gratitude.
"Jack Atlas!"
"‘Crimson Inferno Ball’ can only be activated when 'Red Dragon Archfiend' is on my field and the opponent activates a card that would inflict damage. As a substitute for the damage I would take, I reflect double that damage back to the opponent!"
Red Dragon Archfiend let out a fierce roar, its dragon’s cry dispersing the stars. Flames erupted from the dragon’s body, forming a transparent barrier in front of the three duelists. The rebound from Magic Cylinder hit the barrier, converting into flames that were absorbed by Red Dragon Archfiend and then reflected back as a burning breath!

Though Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, and Crow Hogan later went their separate ways, they had grown up together and formed the "Satisfactory Alliance" in Satellite, becoming unbeatable in duels there.
"Exactly!" Yusei Fudo agreed. "This bond is our strength to overcome any obstacle!
Thanks to Jack Atlas’s ‘Crimson Inferno Ball,’ Goodwin, you’ll take double the Attack Power of Junk Warrior—4600 points of damage!"
Red Dragon Archfiend’s flames surged through Youxuan, dealing double the damage of Junk Warrior!

Youxuan closed his eyes calmly, accepting the double blast of red flames. "I see. Through the combined efforts of comrades, you can indeed achieve strength beyond your individual levels.

This made Youxuan realize how overconfident the original Goodwin was to take on all three protagonists at once. If he had faced them one by one, he might not have lost, especially since the protagonists were still in the early stages of their development.

Yusei Fudo glanced at his hand, pondered for a moment, and then selected two cards, inserting them into his Duel Disk.
"I set two cards. My turn ends!"
"Phew, that was intense. The Signers working together are not to be underestimated", Youxuan sighed, smiling.
"Well then, it’s my turn again."
