Chapter 1162: Blood Oath Scroll
Chapter 1162: Blood Oath Scroll
"Redeem yourselves by atoning for your crimes?"
"Yes." Sid the Lucid Locust pulled out a crimson scroll from his spatial ring.
The scroll was about thirty centimeters wide, not very large, but it emitted a startling crimson glow!
The light was almost tangible, forming a dazzling halo that lingered around Sid’s claws.
Seeing the scroll, the six Dark Thunder Dragon Gods’ pupils constricted.
They were all too familiar with this item! It was the Divine Lord’s most commonly used method to deal with traitors. They never imagined it would be used on them one day.
"There’s no need for me to explain this, right?" Sid’s sharp claws gently shook the scroll. "The Blood Oath Scroll. It can be exchanged for 30,000 points within the Alliance."
"No need." The eyes of the Dark Thunder Dragon Gods went wide, and the leader spoke up. "The Blood Oath Scroll is one of the Divine Lord’s favorite methods. Once you write your oath on the scroll, no cultivator can violate it. If they do, they will suffer the scroll’s backlash. The consequences range from losing a thousand years of life to... death."
The leader didn’t finish his sentence. The worst-case scenario was obvious: death.
"Good to know." Sid looked at them solemnly. "I can let you go, but there’s a condition—you must swear an oath on the Blood Oath Scroll. You must do everything in your power to delay Drakul when he emerges from his seclusion, until it’s no longer possible.
If you agree to swear, I will let you go right now."
Hearing Sid’s words, the other Dark Energy Gods’ eyes lit up!
That’s right!
Killing these six Dark Thunder Dragon Gods wouldn’t benefit them much; it would just be a way to vent their anger. But forcing them to sign the Blood Oath Scroll would maximize their remaining value!
Every day they could delay Drakul was a day gained.
The Dark Energy Gods chimed in:
"Right, sign the scroll quickly!"
"Once you sign, we’ll let you go."
"If you don’t sign, we’ll take action!"
The Dark Energy Gods also began to release their auras, a massive, Formless Crushing Pressure coalesced into a single force, bearing down on the Dark Thunder Dragon Gods.
The Dark Thunder Dragon Gods felt an overwhelming pressure. They couldn’t withstand the combined auras of so many God-level beings!
After a frantic mental discussion, the leader of the Dark Thunder Dragon Gods immediately exclaimed, "I’ll sign, we’re willing to sign!"
Sid, expressionless, tossed the scroll to him.
After supervising the signing, Sid took the scroll and vanished into the distance.
With the last task completed, there was nothing left for him to linger on Earth. He had to leave the planet’s surface as quickly as possible.
Sid’s vehicle transformed into a streak of light, almost instantly reaching the spring at the base of Mount Fuji.
Passing through the portal, his vehicle immediately sped off into the depths of space, heading for the Skrull Planet, escaping with remarkable speed.
The other Dark Energy Gods followed suit.
Within minutes, all the Dark Energy Gods had left, leaving the six Dark Thunder Dragon Gods standing there in a daze.
"Where... do we go now?" one of the Dark Thunder Dragon Gods asked.
"Do we even need to think about it? Of course, we’re going to the Skrull Planet," the leader of the Dark Thunder Dragon Gods said, his face full of worry. "I originally planned to take advantage of the main force’s departure to loot both Earth and the Skrull Planet.
But who has the mood for that now?
Let’s head to the Skrull Planet first and figure out how to fulfill the content of the Blood Oath Scroll."
