"Package?" Qiao Sang blinked in confusion at first, then realization dawned. Her eyes lit up with delight as she hurried to the door and flung it open.

"Not so fast", she cautioned.
As the words left her mouth, a streak of purple light sliced through the package box from the direction of the Open Training Ground, returning to the training area as swiftly as it appeared.
Qiao Sang remained silent, mentally praising:

"Chief Steel", Steel Treasure responded calmly in her mind.
She inhaled deeply, then carefully removed the box lid. Now a Beastmaster with four Royal Beasts, evolving a General-Class familiar should've been routine. "Hello Grandma." Qiao Sang answered, recognizing the number.
"Has the Fairy's Tear arrived?" Lin Expert's voice came through the speaker.
"Just now", she replied. "I'm about to open it."
"Good, good, that's perfect timing." Lin Expert chuckled. "When will Clear Hidden Sprite's evolution begin?"
"Tonight", Qiao Sang declared. Qingbao had already reached peak Enchantment Mastery Level, and with additional Misty Field training, his evolution would be flawless. Even without max-level stats yet, the Fairy's Tear would trigger perfect evolution.
"Tonight?!" Lin Expert sounded surprised, then excited. "Can I record the entire process?"
"Absolutely", Qiao Sang agreed. "Your high-grade Fairy's Tear made this possible."
"Wonderful! I'll stay up all night waiting for your video!"
After a brief chat, Qiao Sang hung up and reached for the package. The two familiars leaned in again.
Migala descended the stairs, asking, "What's that?"
"Qingbao's Evolution Artifacts", Qiao Sang replied.
Migala's expression remained neutral—she already knew Lin Expert from Dragon Nation had sent them. The familiars' ears drooped slightly, their anticipation fading.
"Qingqing!" Qingbao couldn't wait anymore. He snatched the black box from the package, revealing a password-locked case made of black metal composite materials.
Qiao Sang chuckled, "So impatient."
The box chimed, "Password correct", followed by a mechanical click.
Qiao Sang retrieved the fist-sized Fairy's Tear crystal. The familiars leaned in, mesmerized.
"Qingqing..." Qingbao subconsciously reached out with his claws, but Qiao Sang pulled the crystal away.
"Not yet. Wait until evolution time." Contact with Evolution Artifacts would trigger immediate transformation if Qingbao's energy levels were full, which they weren't yet.
"Qingqing?" Qingbao's eyes sparkled with expectation.
"Tonight", she confirmed.
Migala frowned slightly, "Is Clear Hidden Sprite's energy already at Advanced limits?"
Qiao Sang nodded. "I've been using energy detectors to check Qingbao regularly." Though these checks were actually to disguise the Golden Finger's training capabilities, even regular scans showed Qingbao's progress.
"Why not evolve immediately?" Migala asked.
Qiao Sang smiled. "I want to record the evolution ceremony properly."
"Qingqing..." Qingbao looked touched, then zoomed to the bathroom mirror, adjusting his Cloud Steps pattern under his hindquarters to look his best.
In the garden, Qiao Sang set up her camera. At Treasure Seeker's call, Fangy and the others stopped training and gathered around.
"Perfect angle", Qiao Sang guided Qingbao through the camera lens as he stood among the flowers.
“Qingqing.”
Qingbao adjusted the Cloud Steps around his lower body and obediently floated in place.
Qiao Sang finished setting up the camera, then focused her consciousness into the Beastmaster Codex, furiously allocating points.
She pushed the Level value to just one point shy of maximum, then without hesitation upgraded Misty Field to Mastery Level.
Points could always be accumulated again, but if she missed this perfect evolution opportunity, there would be no second chance.
Qiao Sang’s consciousness returned to reality as she approached Qingbao, extending a Fairy’s Tear the size of a fist.
Qingbao accepted it solemnly.
The instant his claws touched the Fairy’s Tear, brilliant white light erupted.
At the same moment, Qiao Sang’s consciousness dove back into the Beastmaster Codex, pouring that final point into Level.
The radiant white light expanded steadily.

Tingbao stared blankly at the scene unfolding before him.

“Was that Jacqueline Teacher?” Qiao Sang asked.
“Exactly,” Migala confirmed. “I’ve summoned her. With the Clear Hidden Sprite’s evolution, we must promptly update the Energy Pills formula.”
Truly efficient… Qiao Sang mused internally.
So focused on Qingbao’s evolution, she hadn’t even considered the Energy Pills adjustment.

A sudden gale roared up, whipping dust and debris. Flowers and grass bent at ninety degrees.
“Xiaxia!”
On the verge of being uprooted, Xia Lala’s face twisted with distress as she cried out.
Qingbao turned toward her, inhaled deeply, and forcibly restrained himself.
The gale ceased instantly. Vegetation returned to its tranquil swaying.
“Xiaxia…”
Xia Lala exhaled in relief.
“Xunxun…”
Treasure Seeker quieted his laughter, drifting silently to his Beastmaster’s side.
Qiao Sang almost asked about Qingbao’s new legs when she caught herself. She recognized the reason behind his sudden temper.
“Ya Ya!”
Fangyu’s face lit with surprise as she called out to Qingbao, communicating So you actually have legs?! She hadn’t known this before.

Steel Treasure regarded his own Beastmaster silently.
“Qingqing,” Qingbao addressed Fangyu, his tolerance clearly higher than toward Treasure Seeker. He feigned shyness, implying he hadn’t realized legs would emerge from this evolution.

Fangyu nodded as if to say That makes sense now.
“Tingting…”
Tingbao nodded thoughtfully, his hand unconsciously drifting toward his lower abdomen. Wondering if legs might sprout during his evolution—and how much faster movement would become with them.
Qingbao turned to his Beastmaster.
“Congratulations on your evolution,” Qiao Sang smiled.

Qingbao’s eyes crinkled happily as he chirped.
A gentle breeze stirred, flowers and grass swaying in harmony.
Beside them, Migala couldn’t resist snapping a photo of Qingbao with her cellphone.
Qingbao’s gaze shifted back to Treasure Seeker. His eyes gleamed mischievously as a playful breeze carried him alongside his target.
Though Qingbao’s general-class stature wasn’t particularly large—even smaller than most general-class familiars—he dwarfed Treasure Seeker noticeably.
“Qingqing?”
Qingbao blinked his crystalline eyes, feigning innocent surprise. How come you seem so… tiny now?
Treasure Seeker: “…”
Why does this sudden animosity feel so palpable…?
“Xunxun…”
Treasure Seeker drifted sideways, glancing upward at Qingbao.
Qingbao floated closer.
Treasure Seeker moved again.
Qingbao followed once more.
“Xunxun!”
Treasure Seeker barked, Stop tailing me! and accelerated away.
“Qingqing!”
Qingbao chirped joyfully, giving chase.
The stationary camera captured their aerial chase, preserving every moment.
“Xiaxia…”
Xia Lala gazed upward, smiling at the heartwarming scene.

Air conditioning hummed, cool breeze stirring curtains.
Except for Treasure Seeker, Fangyu and the others had all drifted to sleep.
Qiao Sang lay awake, mind buzzing with excitement.
After teleporting Qingbao’s evolution footage to Lin Expert, she logged into the Beastmaster Center’s official site, posting a mission request: Seeking a familiar capable of Ten Thousand Volts.
Qingbao had evolved—now it was Tingbao’s turn.
