Placido continued, "I choose to destroy my own 'Stardust Dragon,' which is equipped to my Chaos Warrior, and one of the two remaining Cover Cards in your back row!"
The red cyclone locked onto Youxuan's back row, whistling as it shot forward.
"In this moment, I activate the Cover Card", Youxuan said. "Trap Card, 'Pandora's Treasure Card.'
When one of my back-row Magic or Trap Cards is targeted, I can transfer that target to this card and then draw two cards from my Deck!"
The red cyclone wrapped around the Trap, shattering it mid-air.
Youxuan drew two cards.
Placido's cyclone was halted, but Youxuan knew his true intention wasn't to destroy his back row. The real target was Placido's side.
The golden cyclone swept past Mechemperor Cognition as he lunged with his sword, taking the dragon soul with it. The Stardust Dragon shattered, its fragments dispersing like stardust into Youxuan's Graveyard.
"As the Stardust Dragon is destroyed, Mechemperor Cognition ∞ loses its equipment, and its Attack Power drops!"
[Mechemperor Cognition ∞, Attack Power 5800 → Attack Power 3300]
"You barely managed to save your life."
Youxuan smiled.
"However, you still have to take the damage from Cognition's Attack Power, 3300 points."
Boom!
The blast from the Magical Cylinder hit the ghost robot square in the chest, knocking it to the ground with a gaping hole in its torso, exposed wires crackling with electricity.
