With each shout, he slapped a card onto his Duel Disk. From the starlight vortex, the components materialized: the white mechanical torso, the steel head with red facial patterns, the machine hands with sword-like lines, and the mechanical legs that allowed the entire body to hover in mid-air.

The five monsters combined into a single, towering mech, known as one of the three Synchro Killers, Mecha Emperor Wisdom!

The Wisdom Attack arm disintegrated into light particles, but they quickly reformed into a new, stronger, and more robust arm.
The components summoned through the Wisdom Core are all 1-star, serving as the base components of the Mecha Emperor. On this foundation, the Mecha Emperor's top, attack, defense, and loader parts all have higher-level upgrade components.
The Mecha Emperor isn't just capable of absorbing Synchro Monsters. Its entire body parts can be replaced and upgraded, and each upgrade grants new effects, which is part of its strength.
Of course, this means that the Mecha Emperor deck in the anime needs to include the core and destruction core magic and trap cards in the deck, along with various Mecha Emperor parts and upgrade components.
Oh, and it also means ensuring that the core and destruction core magic and trap cards are drawn in the opening hand, while the numerous Mecha Emperor parts are not, as drawing them would only clog the hand with useless cards.
Thinking about it, the fact that someone can battle with such a deck is itself a feat worthy of respect.
