Chapter 1127: The Sky Changes
Chapter 1127: The Sky Changes
The ambushers in the subspace dimensions quickly responded. As soon as the gates opened, they immediately flew out.
In these five subspace dimensions, the two easternmost were occupied by Hayden Solstice and his subordinates.
Hayden Solstice was the first to emerge from the subspace.
After exiting, his eyes immediately filled with venomous hatred as he glared at Manina without restraint.
His hatred soon turned into intense fury. The spiritual energy around him surged, and his form expanded. Thinking of his slain children, Hayden Solstice wished he could tear Manina apart with his bare hands!
Following Hayden Solstice were the mercenaries he had recruited by spending his entire fortune, along with some individuals who had been persecuted by Manina and sought revenge.
However, these mercenaries and avengers were not very powerful. Most were only at the fourth or fifth rank, with only four leaders possessing abilities above the sixth rank.
But they all wore a uniform of blood-red mechs, their crimson capes fluttering in the wind, giving them a formidable presence.
At least, they were quite intimidating to Manina's guard.
The soldiers of the guard clutched their weapons tightly, their eyes fixed on the sky, while they huddled protectively around Manina.
Compared to the solemnity of the guard, Manina himself was much more relaxed.
He didn't take Hayden Solstice and his lackeys seriously, but he was genuinely surprised by Hayden Solstice's appearance!
"Hayden Solstice? I didn't expect you to still be alive," Manina said, his voice tinged with surprise.
"Heh, disappointed, are you?" Hayden Solstice's aura was thick with anger, his eyes turning completely blood-red.
His voice was icy and menacing, like a ghost risen from the underworld: "I didn't die, and I'm back for revenge! Do you know why Morgan returned to Skrull? I called him back!"
Hayden Solstice wasn't lying; he had indeed called Morgan back.
If not for the expensive interstellar call Hayden Solstice and Cindy Doppler made to Morgan, he likely wouldn't be here now.
"Did you call Morgan back?" Manina gasped, his voice betraying his shock.
Manina still harbored a deep sense of guilt towards Hayden Solstice.
Although Hayden Solstice had once killed a dragon to obtain valuable materials, Manina had blamed him for the death of the Red Dragon King and had his children slaughtered. It was impossible for him to feel no remorse.
But he never expected Hayden Solstice to still be alive, and it was because of him that Morgan had returned to his home planet to seize the throne.
...
While Hayden Solstice and Manina were conversing, the other three subspace dimensions also quickly released their ambushers.
The two westernmost dimensions were occupied by members of the Anti-Alliance, specifically Cindy Doppler and Zhu Yuanzhang's subordinates.
The next western dimension was filled with the mercenaries Morgan had recently recruited on Skrull.
Together, these two dimensions held only about three hundred people, roughly half the size of Hayden Solstice's "Crimson Mech Army."
Notably, the people in these four subspace dimensions were unaware of each other's existence (except for Hayden Solstice). Thus, when they emerged, they all looked at each other in surprise.
However, their goal was the same: to assist Morgan Solstice in seizing the throne.
After a brief moment of mutual scrutiny, they quickly united, their eyes fixed on Manina in the distance.
Manina had ruled the throne for 636 years, but now, the sky was about to change!
