Vivian stepped into the main lobby and swept her gaze around.

When she got back to the private compound of the Temple of Priests, she had breakfast first, did her "night" routine, and then washed some clothes before going to bed. However, once she got to bed, she couldn't sleep and only ended up tossing and turning for about an hour until she decided to just go to the Adventurer's Building.

Looks like the stampede of getting Quest Papers is already over…

There were still several Adventurers in the main lobby but it wasn’t as many during the tie when the new Quests Papers for the day will be posted.

Vivian glanced at Pana's counter.

She began calculating inside her head.

1 platinum coin is 10 gold coins, 1 gold coin is 10 silver coins, and 1 silver coin is 10 copper coins…

And 1,000,000 silver coins is 10,000,000 copper coins…

Her gaze returned to the sketch once more and she squinted her eyes.

Deep within the forest outside Luxen City.

Vivian was running at full speed with a poleaxe on her hand.

Up ahead about 20 meters, she noticed two Brown Kraines playing around with each other.

Vivian stepped on a branch and the two monsters immediately turned to her.

Although she appeared blurry in their eyes, they could still at least see a figure that was heading their way and they also felt a natural aversion towards the figure.

Rawr!

Rawr!

They charged with bloodlust in their eyes.

When the two monsters were about to enter Vivian's attack range, she abruptly stopped.

Whooosh!

She did a spinning attack, slicing open one of the monster's heads horizontally with the axe-head of her weapon and killing it in an instant that it wasn't even able to cry out in pain.

Ba-craaack!

Without stopping for a beat, she spun around once again and then jumped before delivering a downward blow with the hammer-head of her weapon, cracking open the other monster's head.

Vivian quickly resumed running around in search of enemies.

Something suddenly attacked her from above on a tree branch. But due to her speed, the attack missed and she was already a couple of feet away.

Vivian stopped in her tracks, turned around and immediately searched for the thing that tried to attack her.

A 15-foot-long black-colored snake was climbing down the tree.

Woooh!

Chud!

She threw her poleaxe and managed to hit the monster's body with the spear-head of her weapon, pinning it on the tree.

The monster wiggled in pain and tried to break away.

Vivian quickly raised her hand forward.

[Lightning Arrow].

Pscht!

Thud, thud, thud…

A 15-inch-long arrow made out of lightning burst out of her hand, shot through the monster's body and electrocuted it along with the tree. In the end, the monster ended up burnt and hanging lifelessly on the tree with all of the tree's leaves and fruits burned away and there was smoke coming out from the body and snake.

Vivian scratched the side of her face with her finger.

Hmm…

That was destructive…

She let out a sigh and then went over to the tree to retrieve her weapon.

Looks like I really have to be careful in using the right kind of powers…

The last thing I want is to accidentally kill people…

But I like the electrocuting effect though…

It’s like a mini-stun…

And I could follow it up with another attack…

But still…

I still have to be careful in accidentally killing someone…

I’m a beautiful woman right now…

I can only imagine what horrors await me if I get sent to prison…

Chud.

She arrived in front of the tree and grabbed her poleaxe.

In the future...

Maybe I should just try [Wind Arrow]…

Hearing the familiar bird sound, Vivian immediately pulled out her weapon and searched for the bird.

"Ouch…!" she cried out as she felt a sting on her right leg and immediately checked what bit her.

A Paparu stabbed her right calf with its 15-inch-long horn. However, only about 2 inches managed to penetrate her calf and the rabbit-like animal was doing its best to sink its horn deeper.

Vooom!

Splat!

Vivian turned into a blur as she distanced herself from the animal and then twirled her poleaxe before crushing the animal with the hammer-head of her weapon.

Beak!

Beak!

She gritted her teeth as she searched for the bird and saw that it was already about 5ft away from her.

Chak!

She stabbed the bird in mid-air with the spear-head of her weapon.

Beeeak! Beeeeak!

The animal crowed and flapped its wings as it desperately tried to free itself.

Tch!

Vivian clicked her tongue.

This useless weapon…!

She thrust her weapon to the ground, pinning the bird.

Ba-splat!

And then crushed its head with a stomp.

After pulling out her weapon, instead of taking a break, she swept her gaze around her surroundings to see if there were any other incoming enemies.

Looks like it’s clear now…

She glanced at her weapon.

This fucking useless weapon…

Looks cool…

But so useless in close-range that I have to take at least two steps to deliver a proper blow…

She let out a sigh and massaged her temples.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid…" she muttered under her breath.

"Like seriously, why…?

"Why did you choose this weapon…?

“Especially the spear...

"It can't even kill with one thrust...

She shook her head.

"FUCK!"

She crouched down and extracted the tail of the Bukaroo.
