While Boma’s explanation mentioned "Level 5 or higher monsters", the Dark Carrier, with its Level -8, should not count. However, in the anime, when both the Giant Bomber and the Dark Carrier were destroyed, this Trap successfully activated.
As a card specifically printed for the Dark Signers, it was likely designed to be used when both the Dark Carrier and Giant Bomber were taken down together. Therefore, the destruction of the Level -8 Dark Carrier might also satisfy the activation condition.
"Earthbound God!?"
Yusei and Jack, hearing this concept for the first time, were both shocked. The next moment, they instinctively clutched their arms, the pain from the Red Dragon Mark reaching its peak.

"Go, Earthbound God Chacu Challhua, attack Godwin directly!!!"
Each Earthbound God possesses the ability to attack directly, ignoring any defenses the opponent might have, regardless of the monsters on their field. With an Attack Power of around 3000, in a 4000 Life Points environment, the direct attack from such a powerful monster is a formidable threat.
In addition, the Earthbound Gods in the anime have universal resistance. They are immune to the effects of any magic or Trap Cards, making their resistance far stronger than in the real card game.
The Earthbound Gods' biggest weakness, however, is the field. As their name suggests, they are deities bound to the earth. Without a Field Spell Card on the field, the Earthbound Gods will self-destruct.
This major weakness is mitigated in the anime due to the special rules of a Ride Duel.
From the start of a Ride Duel, the Field Spell "Speed World" is automatically in play. This field cannot be removed or destroyed; it is required by the rules to remain on the field at all times. In other words, the Earthbound Gods' dependency on the field is eliminated, giving them a significant advantage in a Ride Duel.
