Synchro Departure, a Trap used by Yusei in the anime, is essentially the Synchro version of “Synchro Release.”
In fact, there is a real card called “Synchro Release,” a Normal Spell with a similar effect. However, it can only be used during the player’s turn and is not allowed in Riding Duels, which is why the anime created a similar Trap.
