Chapter 1109: The Dark Thunder Dragon Graveyard
Chapter 1109: The Dark Thunder Dragon Graveyard
"Over 200 years? That's way too long!"
Morgan had originally thought that his teacher, Alice, had been recently tempted by Dalak to join the Dark Energy Rebellion. He never imagined she had been a "long-time employee"!
"Yes, over 200 years," Alice sighed softly, her gaze drifting to the distance, her eyes gradually losing their sparkle.
"For the past 200 years, I've been an external member of the Dark Energy Rebellion, responsible for gathering intelligence from our school and selling it to the rebellion to earn some resources.
It wasn't until recently, when you invited me to the battlefield on Blue Star and Skrull, that the Dark Energy Rebellion took an interest in this place. Dalak then reached out to me, proposing that I come with you."
"I see," Morgan nodded gently.
He had brought his teacher along to vie for the throne, never expecting that she was already a member of the Dark Energy Rebellion. The rebellion's timing to launch an attack was shockingly convenient.
However, Morgan didn't think Alice was lying to him. He knew her character well; if she was being honest now, there was no reason for her to deceive him.
"However, there's one thing I still don't understand," Morgan, lying on the sofa, turned to look at his teacher, Alice, and asked seriously, "Teacher, be honest, how did you manage to persuade Plante and my ancestors? Just saying you can help them ascend to the Planetary Stage before their lifespans end isn't enough to convince them. From what I know, they aren't that foolish."
In the Holy Silver Federation, every cultivator knew how difficult it was to ascend to the Planetary Stage.
To achieve this, one needed unimaginable resources, exceptional talent, the favor of fate, and unwavering determination, among other things.
Each being who ascended to the Planetary Stage was blessed with great fortune, and Plante and Manina III were well aware of this.
With only a couple of hundred years left to live, they were in a position where even the gods would find it hard to save them. Crossing such a significant barrier at this stage was nearly impossible.
Moreover, Dalak himself was only at the Planetary Stage and didn't have the resources to cultivate two more to the same level.
Therefore, Morgan truly couldn't fathom how his teacher had managed to convince his ancestors and Plante to abandon their entire race and everything they had, to join the Dark Energy Rebellion willingly.
Facing Morgan's serious gaze, Alice smiled faintly.
"Morgan, do you really think Plante and your ancestors are the type to grasp at straws, willing to sacrifice their entire civilization for a glimmer of hope?"
"Of course not."
"You know they aren't, and I know they aren't. Lord Dalak also knows this.
Just yesterday, Lord Dalak personally promised them a chance to enter the 'Dark Thunder Dragon Graveyard' secret realm. It was this promise that made them agree to stand with us."
"The 'Dark Thunder Dragon Graveyard' secret realm? What is that?" Morgan looked perplexed.
He had lived in the Holy Silver Federation for decades and had never heard of such a place.
Could it be that he was just ignorant?
"It's normal that you haven't heard of it," Alice sat up straight on the sofa. "This secret realm is exclusively controlled by the Dark Energy Rebellion. You won't find any information about it in the Holy Silver Federation's databases."
"So, what exactly does this secret realm do?" Morgan asked patiently.
"The effect of the secret realm is simple," Alice narrowed her eyes slightly. "It extends one's lifespan."
