A tyrannical blast of white light erupted from the White Dragon's mouth. In that instant, Dewen felt as if he were about to be blown away by the pressure. He staggered back half a step, barely managing to steady himself as he shouted against the force.
"Activate the effect of 'Third Eye Seer'!
When this card is selected as an attack target, pay 800 Life Points to negate that attack!"
The small, juggling psychic monster stood in front of the Blue Eyes, rapidly throwing mental objects with its hands. A golden vortex-like barrier formed in front of it, and the destructive white light slammed into it, but the tiny monster held firm.

The attack failed, but at least it reduced his Life Points by 800 each time. Thus, Youxuan didn't waste the opportunity and continued, "Now, Sin Cyber End Dragon, attack 'Third Eye Seer'!"
The three mouths of the Cyber End Dragon opened simultaneously, and a turbine-like roar resounded from its steel-fortress body. Blinding flames enveloped in electric light erupted as a powerful cannon blast from the dragon, like a volcanic eruption.

Dewen raised a hand in front of his face, almost unable to look directly at the powerful monster. He shouted, "Pay 800 Life Points to negate the attack on Third Eye Seer!"

The reliable Third Eye Seer once again summoned its defensive barrier, and the Evolution Shockwave crashed against it. Although it was blocked, the shockwave's aftereffects still forced Dewen to take a step back, feeling an overwhelming pressure from both the monster and his opponent.
Looking at his calm and composed opponent, Dewen was now certain.
This was undoubtedly the most dangerous battle and the most terrifying opponent he had ever faced, no exceptions!
"That thing has quite a strong defense", Youxuan chuckled.
The Third Eye Seer's ability to negate attacks wasn't limited to once per turn, making it a decent defense for a psychic monster.
"Activate a Cover Card!" Dewen panted, "The Trap Card 'Sacrificial Treasure Card'. If the combined Attack Points of my monsters are lower than the lowest Attack Points of the opponent's monsters, draw two cards from my Deck!"
Dewen drew two cards.
Youxuan: "I will Cover two cards. My turn ends."
From a competitive player's perspective, the Sin Deck was far from impressive, barely reaching the threshold of competitive play. While it seemed to summon high-attack monsters with ease, their weaknesses and limitations were obvious.
These powerful monsters had few advantages beyond their high attack power. They lacked the ability to disrupt the opponent's actions and had no inherent resistance. A single trap or removal effect could easily take them down.
Moreover, their biggest flaw was the "Sin World" field. Without it, all Sin monsters would self-destruct.
However, in the animated world where duels often involved powerful monsters clashing, the Sin Deck had a near-dominant advantage over average Duelists. The Sin Deck's monsters, all collected by Paradox from different dimensions and timelines, were top-tier warriors. Their overwhelming presence and the boost they provided to the Duelist's momentum were enough to overwhelm most opponents.
Dewen was in such a situation now.
"Don't underestimate me!" Dewen shouted, "My turn, draw!
I Normal Summon 'Mental Guardian'!"
A not-so-intelligent-looking psychic monster was summoned to the field, electricity flowing from its forehead to its hands, forming a transparent shield.

"Next, I'll activate the Quick-Play Spell 'Emergency Teleport' from my hand!"
This card allows me to Special Summon a Level 3 or lower Psychic-Type monster from my hand or Deck. However, the monster Special Summoned this way must be banished at the end of this turn!
Youxuan rubbed his chin. "Emergency Teleport, huh."
It had been a while since he watched the 5D's anime, and he had forgotten that this card was part of Dewen's deck. But the card's power was still impressive, even in modern Yu-Gi-Oh.
Being able to directly summon a Psychic-Type monster from the Deck, with precise retrieval and a cost-free summon, was undeniably strong.
Youxuan couldn't help but smile as he thought about it.
He had always thought Dewen's deck was nothing special, not worth much in terms of collecting. But it seemed there were some unexpected treasures here.
"By the effect of Emergency Teleport, I'll Special Summon a second 'Mental Guardian' from my Deck!"
The second Mental Guardian appeared on the field, hands outstretched, releasing an electric barrier that seemed to connect with the one from the first Mental Guardian.

The Tuner and the two Mental Guardians vanished in a burst of Synchro light, and a vortex of dark matter appeared in the center of the Duel field. The demon's body was encased in skeletal armor, with dark green bone wings emerging from the cracks, and golden lightning crackling around it.

"Ah, so your ace monster is making an appearance", Youxuan said with a smile. "With an Attack Power of 2700, that's quite impressive."
Dewen sneered.
"Don't get too cocky, Godwin!" Dewen shouted. "I'll activate the Equip Spell 'Gigantification' from my hand and equip it to 'Spirit World Demon'!
When my Life Points are lower than my opponent's, the equipped monster's Attack Power doubles!"
At this moment, Dewen's Life Points were 2400, lower than Youxuan's. The Spirit World Demon was enveloped in green energy, and its size rapidly increased, doubling in size as it roared defiantly at Youxuan's two dragons.

"I don't know what tricks you used to build such a ridiculous deck, but it won't be enough to beat me!
With the power of the Spirit World Demon, feel the might of my strongest psychic force!"
Godwin raised his hand.
"Attack!
Spirit World Demon, attack 'Sin Cyber End Dragon'!"
The Spirit World Demon, now empowered, felt invincible. Its massive claw, wrapped in electric energy, struck through the air, slicing through the light beam emitted by the Cyber End Dragon and piercing it through the chest. The Cyber End Dragon burned and crashed to the ground.

"Not done yet! I'll activate the monster effect of 'Spirit World Demon'!" Dewen laughed. "Spirit World Demon can absorb the Attack Power of destroyed monsters and convert it to my Life Points!
The original Attack Power of Sin Cyber End Dragon is 4000, so I'll gain 4000 Life Points!"
