"Sun Dragon Inti's direct attack!"
Godwin waved his hand and declared loudly.
The sun at the center of the Sun Dragon ignited, and endless flames quickly spread from the sun to the mouths of the four dragons. Four streams of fire merged into a burning current, surging toward Youxuan's defenseless field.
Youxuan snapped his fingers.
"Activate my cover card, Trap Card 'Earth Captor.' This can be activated when the opponent declares a direct attack. The battle damage I receive is halved." (Original card)

The Trap released a translucent barrier. The intense flames from the Sun Dragon were partially nullified by the barrier before landing on Youxuan. The explosive shockwave lifted the hem of his coat, and the powerful impact forced Youxuan to take a half-step back.
"An impact from the Shadow Markers' Darkness Duel, huh." Youxuan brushed off the dust from his clothes and said, "The sensation is quite interesting."

"Furthermore, after the battle damage is calculated, if the damage is 1000 or more", Youxuan continued, "I draw one more card from my deck."
Youxuan drew a card.
Godwin said, "Then I place a card face-down. My turn ends."
As he declared the end of his turn, a faint blue glow emanated from the Moon Shadow Dragon Kilia. The four dragon heads, along with the moon core, slowly sank as if they were disappearing into the underworld.
"The Moon Shadow Dragon Kilia's monster effect", Godwin explained calmly. "If the Moon Shadow Dragon is on the field at the end of my turn, it automatically destroys itself." (Original effect)
Although the Moon Shadow Dragon Kilia had been cardized, it differed significantly from the anime version. The cardized version lacked the peculiar Dark Synchro summoning method and the scientifically dubious concept of negative-level Dark Synchro monsters. As a result, the cardized Moon Shadow Dragon was a regular 6-star Synchro monster with adjusted effects.
"I just heard you say you plan to have someone take care of Yusei Fudo."
Youxuan asked coolly, "Why?"
In the current storyline, Yusei Fudo was arrested by the Security Bureau and taken to a holding facility. In the original story, Godwin intentionally released Yusei to participate in the Lucky Cup tournament he organized, to gather the five Dragon Signers.
If not for this purpose, Godwin could have easily eliminated Yusei at this stage.
"This isn't your world, so it's none of your business", Godwin replied coolly.
Youxuan said, "Then an outsider from another world coming to my world to try to release the Three Yeshen doesn't count as an invasion?"
Godwin's brow furrowed slightly.
"I don't understand what you're talking about", Godwin said, not wanting to continue the conversation. "Your turn. Let's continue the duel. I have no obligation to tell you anything, as you are a man who is about to die."
"Are you that confident?" Youxuan smiled. "If you say so, I'm even more intrigued.
Now, my turn, draw."
Youxuan immediately revealed the card he had drawn from the merchant's effect last turn.
"Activate Magic Card 'Famous Deduction.'
The opponent declares a monster level, then I flip cards from the top of my deck until I find a monster I can Normal Summon.
If the level of that monster matches the declared level, all the flipped cards are sent to the Graveyard.
If it doesn't match, that monster is Special Summoned, and the rest of the flipped cards are sent to the Graveyard."
Youxuan gestured with a "please" motion.
"Go ahead, declare a level."
Godwin didn’t think much about it. "Level Four."
In the absence of knowing the opponent's Deck composition, Level Four was generally the safest call.
"Alright. Then I’ll flip."
Youxuan flipped over five cards in quick succession.
The five cards were Gigantes, Rock Spirit - Titan, Gigantic Rock Dragon, and Magnet Warrior - Electromagnetic Deity, along with a Trap Card.
While four of them were monsters, none of them could be Normal Summoned.
Gigantes and Rock Spirit - Titan both required the banishment of an Earth attribute monster from the Graveyard to Special Summon from the hand. Gigantic Rock Dragon could Special Summon by banishing any Earth attribute monster from the Graveyard, and its Attack Power would then become 700 times the number of banished monsters. Magnet Warrior - Electromagnetic Deity, a classic monster from Yusei Fudo's Deck, required sending three Magnet Warrior cards to the Graveyard to Special Summon.
Godwin couldn’t help but frown.
Was it a coincidence that so many of these monsters couldn’t be Normal Summoned?
"Sixth card", Youxuan revealed the sixth card he drew, "Electromagnetic Warrior - Gamma. This is a monster that can be Normal Summoned, but it’s Level Three, so you’re out of luck this time.
Thus, Electromagnetic Warrior - Gamma Special Summons!"
A crackling of electricity filled the field, and a small, green Magnet Warrior appeared, brandishing a large fist.

The Electromagnetic Warriors were an upgraded version of the classic "Magnet Warrior" series from Yusei Fudo’s Deck.
This was a project that Youxuan’s research team, dedicated to studying Yusei Fudo’s Deck, had been working on for a long time. They had recently achieved significant progress, and Youxuan had brought the completed cards with him on this interdimensional journey.
Now, Youxuan had multiple enhanced versions of classic Yusei Fudo cards, allowing him to build a modern, hybrid version of Yusei’s Deck.
And today was the Electromagnetic Warriors’ debut in battle.
"Electromagnetic Warrior - Gamma, when Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, can Special Summon one Level Four or lower ‘Magnet Warrior’ monster from the hand, except itself."
Youxuan revealed another Magnet Warrior from his hand.
"Special Summon Electromagnetic Warrior - Beta!"
It looked very similar to the old Magnet Warrior Beta from Yusei’s Deck, but with a different color scheme, now primarily red instead of yellow.

"Electromagnetic Warrior - Beta’s effect", Youxuan explained, "When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, it can add one Level Four or lower ‘Magnet Warrior’ monster, except itself, from the Deck to the hand."
Youxuan’s Deck automatically searched and ejected a card, which he drew. The Deck then automatically shuffled itself.
"Add Electromagnetic Warrior - Alpha to the hand."
Youxuan searched and displayed another Magnet Warrior.
Alpha, Beta, and Gamma were the classic trio of Magnet Warriors from Yusei’s Deck. While the original versions were basic monsters, they had now evolved with the times, each gaining new effects.
"Magnets need a magnetic field", Youxuan smiled, "I activate the Field Spell—
—Hyper Electromagnetic Field!"
