Chapter 1052: Alice's Plan
Chapter 1052: Alice's Plan
"Ahem." Kusman forced a smile, but his words were laced with sarcasm. "Most of the equipment used by the Blue Star forces is from your Scorch Empire, Your Majesty Manina. There might be some internal issues on your side!"
Kusman really wanted to mock the Scorch Empire, as they and the Linkter Alliance had been at odds for a long time. However, he had just taken office and still lacked the seniority to make such a bold move. So, he held back his sarcastic remarks and only gave a mild jab.
If the late former Speaker Kas were still around, he would have already started making sarcastic remarks at this point.
Manina's face darkened, and his lips twitched. "I'll have someone investigate this matter right away."
As he watched the video feed of the Blue Star forces in their gear, Manina's expression grew even darker.
Moreover, the equipment seen in the footage wasn't second-hand; most of it was brand new, straight out of the warehouse, and even better than what their front-line troops received!
Regardless, they needed to find out where these supplies had leaked from!
...
Before long, the Blue Star forces in the video feed noticed the micro robot that was spying on them.
A few fifth-stage powerhouses in mechanical suits flew over and quickly dismantled the robot, cutting off Manina's line of sight.
However, Manina and his team weren't too concerned, as they still had numerous other reconnaissance drones and micro robots providing surveillance of Blue Star.
By now, most of the small reconnaissance drones and micro robots had been lost.
Scrool had deployed about two million small reconnaissance drones and micro robots in total. But in the first wave, 99.9% of them were destroyed, leaving only about 2,000 to successfully fly out of the Rainbow Pillar Island.
Moreover, Blue Star's seventh-stage and higher powerhouses were relentless in their pursuit, continuously destroying the small drones and micro robots. The footage sent back to the Scrool base was dwindling. By the time they reached Chinese territory, only a few hundred remained.
...
Despite the decreasing amount of footage, the information Scrool obtained was still substantial.
First, they discovered the ten defense lines set up by the Blue Star forces, which they had no prior knowledge of. They only knew that the Blue Star forces had set up defenses outside the hot spring.
With enough surveillance footage, they could now analyze the scattered information and deduce what the Blue Star forces were doing, and how the ten defense lines were likely arranged.
Second, the reconnaissance drones and micro robots that made it into Chinese territory provided a wealth of useful information.
From the surveillance footage, they learned that the Blue Star forces had not set up defenses within Chinese territory but had instead concentrated all their efforts on the ten defense lines around Rainbow Pillar Island.
Now, China had become a thorough logistics and training base. If Scrool's forces could break through the ten defense lines, occupying Blue Star would be a smooth process!
...
The information Scrool gathered was just that much.
After more than an hour, the last reconnaissance drone was destroyed by the Blue Star forces.
Watching the final footage disappear, Manina sighed in the video conference room. "It's over. All the resources we spent on these reconnaissance drones and micro robots were in vain."
"Alas, our plans couldn't keep up with the changes," Kusman sighed. "We launched all our reconnaissance drones at the same time, which resulted in a 99.9% loss in the first wave."
"If we had followed the original plan and released the reconnaissance drones at a greater distance when the Blue Star forces were weaker, we would have gathered much more intelligence!"
A divine powerhouse, Sibo, interjected, "That's true," but now that the reconnaissance drones are gone, we can't use them again.
By now, the Tixin Defense Network had already covered three-quarters of the sky, and it wouldn't be long before it made contact with the ground.
Once it reached the ground, it would be nearly impossible for them to learn what was happening outside the network!
Manina could only shake his head helplessly. "Let's end this for now. I'll go and catch the traitors. Goodbye, everyone."
"Goodbye."
"Goodbye."
...
The video conference ended, and Manina and the others went about their tasks, each with their own concerns.
However, they were unaware that not all of the reconnaissance drones and microbots on Earth had been destroyed.
One reconnaissance drone and one microbot were still operational, but they hadn't sent any signals back to the Skrull base.
These two devices had been tampered with by Alice.
On the surface, Alice's strength was only at the lower god tier, but in reality, she was a seasoned peak god. Her true strength even surpassed that of Plante and the First Emperor of Qin. Even two newly ascended peak gods like Manina III combined might not be a match for her.
Alice had meticulously modified the small reconnaissance drone and microbot. Now, these two devices were no longer under the control of the Skrull base but obeyed her commands.
After the modifications, the drone's flight speed and stealth capabilities had dramatically improved.
The small reconnaissance drone had already reached the headquarters in Yan Mountain.
Upon arrival, it didn't hesitate and crashed directly into the protective shield of the Yan Mountain base.
Boom!
The reconnaissance drone shattered into pieces, exploding against the shield.
Meanwhile, the microbot entered space.
Under Alice's control, the microbot passed through the atmosphere and reached Earth's low orbit, where a fleet from the Holy Silver Federation was stationed.
The microbot didn't just crash into the fleet. Instead, it lingered nearby, carefully observing.
It's worth noting that the Holy Silver Federation's fleet was equipped with numerous reconnaissance facilities, all running at full capacity to monitor the spatial travel coordinates of the Dalak.
However, these facilities failed to detect the microbot. Alice had put a lot of effort into enhancing its anti-detection capabilities.
After 10 minutes, the microbot had gathered enough information. Alice then controlled it to self-destruct, breaking down into individual molecules that fell into the atmosphere.
...
In a secret room of the Skrull expedition's headquarters, Alice, sitting with her legs hugged, opened her eyes and a faint smile appeared on her lips.
The plan had gone much smoother than expected, and she easily obtained the information she needed.
A while back, she and Mona had visited Earth to gauge the strength of the Holy Silver Federation's fleet.
To get closer to the Holy Silver fleet, she pretended to fly outside the atmosphere to avoid disturbing Earth's inhabitants.
That time, she had only a distant view of the fleet, too far to see clearly.
But this time, on a whim, she controlled a microbot and completed her mission, giving her a clear view of the Holy Silver fleet.
