Paradox roared.
He had been eyeing this Force Executor with disdain for a while. The Executor’s blood advantage had put him in a tough spot, but now that the tide had turned, Paradox was ready to strike back. His first target was this angel.
Youxuan made no move to defend, allowing Paradox’s Rainbow Dragon to unleash a burst of multicolored light that engulfed the Executor. The angel, now powerless due to the skill drain, could only watch helplessly as the rainbow light crushed and disintegrated him.

Paradox’s expression froze.
Dealing 4000 points of damage and it’s just "not bad"? But then, considering Youxuan’s still sky-high Life Points, it wasn’t entirely unfounded.
Paradox, irritated, grunted heavily and said coldly, "I’ll see how long you can keep up this act."
With that, he gestured again.
"Next, Sin True Red Eye Black Dragon, attack Marshmallow!"
Dark flames erupted from the ground, converging into the mouth of the Sin True Red Eye Black Dragon. The dragon’s eyes glowed with molten darkness, and a Sin version of the black flame shot straight at Marshmallow.
Marshmallow looked helplessly at Youxuan. "Skill drain, not faking it. I’m really out of options this time."
"Don’t worry", Youxuan smiled. "You can take a break."
Marshmallow: "Alright, I’ll go then."

The black flame shot forward, annihilating Marshmallow in a transparent shockwave, dispersing him into nothingness.
With the skill drain, Marshmallow had become a blank card, and her small frame couldn’t withstand the black flame’s impact, shattering on the spot.
"Then, Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Paradox continued, "Attack Archangel Cristia!"
The Blue-Eyes let out a thunderous roar, a blinding white light pouring from its mouth, piercing through the air and striking the Archangel’s chest.
But this time, the Archangel, though shaken, remained standing, a translucent golden light enveloping her body. The destructive white light washed over her, but she didn’t budge an inch.
Paradox: "What?"
Youxuan pointed to the back row. "Trap Card ‘Invincible to Attack.’
You can choose to make all battle damage 0 for one turn, or prevent one monster from being destroyed by battle this turn.
I chose to protect Archangel Cristia from battle destruction."
Paradox gritted his teeth, frowning.
Clearly, with his Life Points still high, Youxuan felt it was more worthwhile to protect the Archangel than to save a few Life Points.
Archangel Cristia had been a powerful monster even in the Champion Deck “Executor Angels.” By the late Synchro era, the meta was dominated by decks that could Special Summon multiple monsters and chain Synchro Summons in a single turn, often able to talk for five minutes straight while attacking a wall.
With an Archangel standing, many of these mainstream decks would be silenced. Without the ability to Special Summon, many decks couldn’t even field a monster with 2000 or more Attack Power.
Paradox could already feel the pressure from the Archangel. Although the skill extraction had temporarily sealed Cristia's abilities, just having this entity on the field made him uneasy.
