Chapter 1029: Falsifying Orders
Chapter 1029: Falsifying Orders
Morgan faced the leaders of the various races, his expression serious. "I have returned to our homeworld because a great war is about to break out between our planet and Blue Star."
"For us Skrulls who have been living away from home, if our people are exterminated by the Blue Star humans, we will become rootless grass and aimless driftwood. This is something we absolutely cannot accept!"
"Moreover, to be honest, participating in this war will bring me considerable benefits."
"Because of these two reasons, I have decided to return to our homeworld, and that is why I am standing here today, speaking to all of you."
"Regarding the exchange students from our various races, if you want them to return, you might consider using these two reasons to persuade them."
"Especially those who are not doing well in the Saint Silver Federation. I've heard that participating in the war can earn them a lot of psychic resources. I believe they will come back."
The entire subspace was already quiet, and Morgan's voice echoed through it, making the already silent space even more hushed.
After hearing Morgan's words, many of the leaders of the various races were initially swayed, but then suddenly realized something was amiss.
After a while, the Mermaid Queen tapped the surface of the psychic water pool with her beautiful fish tail, her voice laced with confusion. "That doesn't make sense, Prince Morgan. Our race has no intention of participating in the war between the nobles and the Blue Star humans. Why would we try to persuade our exchange students to return and join the war?"
"Nalissa is right," the Dragon King Kadrigus interjected. "We have no plans to join the war. Even if the Blue Star humans win and invade our Skrull planet, I believe they will not harm any race other than the Skrulls."
"Our people will not be exterminated by the Blue Star humans, so what is there to worry about?"
"King Dragon is right!"
"That makes sense."
"We will not participate in the war. Whatever happens is between you and the Blue Star humans. Don't drag us into it!"
The leaders of the various races responded loudly, their voices echoing through the subspace.
Now they understood—Morgan and the Skrulls had gathered them here to ask them to join the invasion of Blue Star!
While there were indeed some races that wanted to join the war, such as the Mermaid race, the Crested Bird race, and the Three-Headed Serpent race, their desire to participate did not mean they would immediately agree to the Skrulls' request. They wanted to negotiate a better deal before considering joining.
Thus, the leaders of the various races unanimously declared their unwillingness to participate in the war.
...
Morgan had anticipated this response from the leaders and was not surprised at all.
He smiled slightly and replied, "Everyone, we understand that you do not wish to participate in the attack on Blue Star. However, what about the Dark Energy Rebellion?"
At the mention of these words, the atmosphere in the subspace immediately turned tense, the temperature dropping below freezing. Many of the leaders' faces turned stiff.
Manina continued, "The real reason we called you all here is not to drag you into a fight against the Blue Star humans. Our true enemy is the Dark Energy Rebellion."
"Regarding the Dark Energy Rebellion, I sent you all the relevant information half a month ago. I believe you have all studied it carefully, correct?"
"Um..." The leaders of the various races nodded.
They had indeed studied the information about the Dark Energy Rebellion as soon as they received it, and their conclusion was clear—it was impossible to deal with such a powerful threat.
Facing such a formidable existence, they felt as helpless as ants trying to stop an elephant.
Manina continued, "Regarding the Dark Energy Rebellion, first, the Chant Society will send a Planetary-level powerhouse to assist us. This Planetary-level powerhouse is our greatest asset."
"Secondly," Manina went on, "I just received an order from the Chant Society, instructing all of us on Skrul to form the 'Skrul Defense Force' to actively address the potential threat posed by the Dark Energy Rebellion."
After speaking, Manina gave Morgan a meaningful glance.
Morgan quickly pulled out his communication device and displayed the order from the Chant Society to everyone.
This so-called "order" was, of course, a forgery created by Morgan using materials he found on the Saint Silver Federation's network. He had casually pieced it together.
However, the leaders of the various races never suspected that the order could be a forgery, nor did they imagine that Morgan would dare to forge an order from the Chant Society.
Thus, upon seeing the order, the leaders immediately believed it to be genuine, with near certainty.
The Chant Society wanted them to form the "Skrul Defense Force" to combat the Dark Energy Rebellion?
It seemed that the Chant Society was also stepping in to take action, rather than just standing by and watching.
None of the leaders even considered refusing.
Refuse an order from the Chant Society?
Ha, they wouldn't dare even if they had a hundred lives on the line!
...
Morgan's display of the order caused shock throughout the room.
The leaders of the various races were at a loss, quickly using their mental powers to communicate and discuss what to do.
Manina smiled and continued, "Ladies and gentlemen, I will not ask for your opinions on forming the 'Skrul Defense Force' because you have no choice but to agree!
This meeting is primarily to discuss two matters.
First, we need to find a way to bring back our students who are studying in the Saint Silver Federation, as we mentioned earlier..."
Manina glanced at Morgan, who picked up the thread. "Father is right. We need to bring back as many students as possible.
Yesterday, I conducted a census and found that among the students, there are 68 Seventh-Rank cultivators and 554 Sixth-Rank cultivators. That's a significant force! At this critical juncture for our planet, we must find a way to bring back some of this strength.
However, if we tell them about the Dark Energy Rebellion, it won't work. No one would be foolish enough to return because of that.
Instead, we need to tell these students that there are abundant psychic energies and other resources on Blue Star. If they return, they can share in the spoils of the great battle. Only then will they be willing to come back.
I say all this for the sake of our planet and to better fulfill the Chant Society's mission. I hope everyone can understand."
After listening to Morgan, the leaders fell silent.
Since the Chant Society intended for them to participate in the battle against the Dark Energy Rebellion, they must be fully prepared, even for their own protection.
It seemed necessary to deceive the students into returning.
The White Eagle Clan Leader nodded solemnly. "Alright, I will do my best to convince our students to return."
"I will do the same."
"Our clan will do the same."
"Our students are out of contact, but I will try my best to reach them."
The leaders of the various clans responded one by one.
The Sea Giant King sighed in relief and asked, "Prince Morgan, what is the 'second matter'?"
