Chapter 1028: Subspace
Chapter 1028: Subspace
The meeting took place in a sub-space located behind the Royal Palace of the Blazing Sun. This sub-space was roughly the same size as the palace, spanning about 1.5 square kilometers.
This sub-space was not created by the Skrul people, as they had not yet mastered spatial technology. Instead, it belonged to Morgan Blazing Sun. After returning to Skrul, Morgan placed the sub-space behind the palace for the meeting's use. The sub-space was completely isolated from the outside world, ensuring perfect confidentiality, making it ideal for the meeting.
In fact, this sub-space didn't belong to Morgan Blazing Sun either. Although he had studied in the Holy Silver Federation for nearly 80 years, buying such a large sub-space was still beyond his financial means. The sub-space was actually rented by his mentor, Alice, from the school. They had rented a total of three, and these sub-spaces played a significant role in the recent power struggle.
Upon entering the sub-space, one could see that its floor was as hard and smooth as diamond, with a watery blue color that was both clear and translucent. The ceiling of the sub-space was a thick, fog-like substance that was dense and solid, like an inverted canopy covering the space. Neither sight nor mental power could penetrate this layer of "fog."
As for the interior of the sub-space:
Since it was newly rented, the space initially had no furnishings. However, due to the needs of the conference, Morgan had his subordinates move in some items over the past half-month.
These items primarily included brown plush cushions, providing a comfortable resting area for the 23 races attending the meeting. Additionally, the Skrul people arranged various facilities according to the preferences of each race. For example, they set up a spirit energy pool for the Merfolk, high-hardness branches for the White-headed Eagles, a gold mountain for the Dragon race, and a gemstone pile for the Rhinling race, ensuring each race had the most comfortable resting experience possible.
The leaders and their accompanying elites were guided to their respective resting areas by attendants. Upon seeing the arrangements made by the Skrul people, though they didn't say it out loud, they were quite satisfied.
The White-headed Eagle emperor tested the high-hardness branches prepared for her, gently gripping them and finding them satisfactory. The Merfolk empress splashed around in the spirit energy pool, pleased by the abundant spirit energy in the water, which gave her a delightful sensation as it flowed along the edges of her body. The Dragon emperor, Cadrigus, was also very satisfied with the resting area, as the "gold mountain" prepared by the Skrul people contained a substantial amount of real gold, unlike the copper and alloy imitations of the past.
Each race marveled at the thorough preparations made by the Skrul people, while also marveling at the vast sub-space itself. When did the Skrul people ever have such a large sub-space? They had never heard of anything like this!
In front of each race's resting area stood a podium, approximately one meter high and draped with luxurious blue fabric with golden edges.
On the podium, the seven Skrul god-levels, excluding the injured Vidolia, were all present and seated according to their status.
In the center of the podium sat the two peak god-levels of the Blazing Sun Empire, followed by Sidim, Seb, Lei, and Othas.
Behind the podium, there were three additional seats reserved for the Blazing Sun Emperor Manina, the Runkte Council President Kusman, and Morgan Blazing Sun.
Seeing that all the leaders had arrived at their resting areas, Plante cleared his throat twice, stood up from his seat, and slowly floated into the air.
Facing the representatives of various races, he said sternly, "Since everyone is here, let's officially begin the meeting!"
The room fell silent, and all eyes The representatives' gazes focused on Plant.
However, before Plant could speak, the Dragon Emperor Kadrigus interrupted, "Sir Plant, can I ask a question before we start the meeting?"
Plant was taken aback but quickly smiled and replied, "Of course, what would you like to ask?"
"I want to ask about this subspace." The Dragon Emperor swept his gaze around the entire subspace and inquired, "Why haven't we heard about such a valuable asset among the human race before?"
"Ha ha, this subspace was actually brought back by Mogen." Plant turned to Mogen behind him and said, "Mogen, why don't you explain it to the Dragon Emperor?"
"Sure." Mogen floated up from his seat and smiled at the Dragon Emperor, "Sir Dragon Emperor, this subspace is something I acquired using academic credits at our Merlonde Academy.
The subspace isn't very useful on a regular basis; it's mainly used to store larger items that aren't frequently needed.
However, this space has excellent privacy and is isolated from the outside world, making it perfect for hosting large, confidential meetings like this one.
When I heard that Father was planning this conference, I offered to use the subspace for the meeting."
"Oh, I see." The Dragon Emperor nodded, understanding the situation.
If it's something Mogen brought back, it's not surprising at all. After all, the Holy Silver Federation is vast, and valuable assets are as numerous as stars.
"Tsk, Mogen Prince truly exchanged for a great asset!"
"A space this large is considered a clan treasure in our race!"
"Truly befitting for a Holy Silver Federation exchange student, his first move has made us all feel ashamed!"
The leaders of the various races all sighed in admiration.
On Skrul, a 1 cubic meter spatial ring could sell for 100 million Ryayang coins last year! The largest spatial storage equipment on the entire Skrul planet is only about 500 cubic meters, and it can't even store living creatures.
But now, the subspace Mogen casually pulled out is comparable to the entire Ryayang Palace! And it can even allow people to enter without feeling cramped at all.
Comparing this, they felt like frogs at the bottom of a well!
Hearing everyone praise his son, Mogen's father, Manina, felt very pleased.
He stood up and said, "My son has made a good start, and I think we can use this as an opportunity to call back the students studying in the Holy Silver Federation."
"This... might be quite difficult," many of the leaders' expressions darkened upon hearing Manina's words.
Many races, especially the larger ones, have sent a significant number of students to the Holy Silver Federation over the past 100 years, hoping they would return and revitalize their races.
The number of exchange students is still quite large, including the Skrul humans, who have sent about 1,300 students, averaging 13 per year.
The problem is, once these students reach the Holy Silver Federation and experience the vast world outside, almost none of them are willing to return.
Currently, out of the approximately 1,000 students, 90% have lost contact, and it's unknown whether they've died in a foreign land or simply don't want to communicate with their home planet.
The remaining 10% who can still be contacted are mostly just going through the motions, and only a very few are considering returning because they can't make it in the Federation.
Someone like Mogen, who has excelled in his studies and is willing to return, is truly a rare exception!
