"Today, we'll have a slight change in rules," Mu Yue said with a smile. "The winner can assign the number of questions the loser has to answer."
"Huh? Doesn't that mean the loser could end up with eighty questions?" Obito was already starting to panic.
According to Mu Yue's new rule, if the winner chose to waive all their questions and the loser hadn't broken their limit, they would have to answer eighty questions.
Obito hadn't always lost, but his wins were far fewer than his losses. This change in rules would essentially double the number of questions if he lost.
Hearing Mu Yue's words, even Might Guy broke into a sweat. While he had won more often than Obito, he had lost on occasion as well.
"This is a special Sunday activity," Mu Yue explained. "After today, we'll go back to the previous rules."
Both Obito and Might Guy breathed a sigh of relief. It was a relief that this rule would only be in effect for a day; otherwise, the pressure would have been immense.
While they had once endured days of answering a hundred questions after their combat tests, those arduous times felt like a distant memory now, something they preferred to keep buried.
"Why do we have this special activity today? Is today some kind of special occasion?" Obito asked, perplexed.
"Because today marks my 111th day as a teacher," Mu Yue replied.
Although it was an excuse, it happened to be true that it was his 111th day as a teacher and in the Naruto world.
"Alright, let's begin the race," Mu Yue announced.
After a quick warm-up, Obito and Might Guy took their positions at the starting point designated by Mu Yue.
"Good luck, Obito," encouraged Nohara Rin, who was practicing her ninjutsu nearby.
"I've won against Guy in the practical tests, and I won't lose this time either," Obito said confidently.
"With eighty questions on the line and Rin watching, I absolutely cannot lose this time!" Obito thought to himself.
"Get ready... Go!"

As soon as Mu Yue gave the signal, Obito burst forward, channeling his chakra for a super start.
Faced with the prospect of eighty questions, Might Guy was equally motivated. He, too, employed the super start technique, 'Shaving.'
As the sound of their running grew louder, Obito felt a sense of urgency. Gritting his teeth, he ignored the fatigue in his leg muscles and once again utilized 'Shaving' to accelerate.
But Might Guy, driven by his unwavering determination, refused to concede. Seeing Obito's acceleration, he mustered his strength and began to speed up as well, rapidly closing the distance between them.

As they neared the finish line, the distance between Might Guy and Obito narrowed.

The two drew closer, and from the corner of his eye, Obito could make out a flash of green—the telltale sign of Might Guy in his tight green jumpsuit.
"Oh no!" Obito's heart sank as he realized Might Guy had definitely improved again.
Both of them simultaneously employed the Shaving technique, their bodies vanishing from their original spots.
"Who won?" Nohara Rin could only sense their figures blurring, and the next moment, they appeared together at the finish line.
"Obito wins. Guy has to answer seventy questions," Mu Yue announced the results.
During the final sprint, Obito had completely mastered the Shaving technique and grasped the skill of tripling its effect. With a slight advantage in distance, he emerged victorious.
"Huff, huff, huff." Obito collapsed on the ground, panting heavily. He felt a burning sensation in his chest, and even his breath seemed hot.
Though exhausted, Obito was delighted. This meant fewer questions—a reduction equivalent to two losses—and he had won in front of Nohara Rin.
Thinking of her presence, Obito forced himself to stand, despite the trembling in his legs.
"Obito, why don't you rest a bit more?" Nohara Rin asked with concern.
"It's nothing. It wasn't that long of a run. I'm fine," Obito replied, trying to sound casual while struggling to stop his legs from shaking.
"Oh, I see. If it was too short, we can double the distance tomorrow," Mu Yue said with a smile, as if he had just realized something.
Obito: ...
"It seems you still have some energy left, Obito. Let's run again. I feel like I can still improve," Might Guy said, temporarily pushing aside his fear of the questions as his enthusiasm took over.
Setting aside the prospect of answering questions, Might Guy genuinely enjoyed these races. Although he had lost this time, he had undoubtedly made progress.
Obito wasn't sure if Might Guy was trying to tease him or if he genuinely wanted to run again.
"Actually, I was just using a literary expression earlier. You misunderstood me," Obito attempted to gloss over the situation.
Nohara Rin struck again, poking Obito's thigh with her finger, causing it to start trembling uncontrollably.
"Obito, don't push yourself. Look, your legs are shaking so much. If we double the distance, you might not even be able to get up afterward," Nohara Rin sighed.
Obito felt mentally exhausted. He wished for everything to just disappear; he was tired.
Why was it so difficult to show off a little in front of Nohara Rin?
"Alright, take a break, and then we'll start learning a new jutsu. This time, I'll be teaching you an extremely difficult secret technique, so you must learn it seriously," Mu Yue said.

After the two had rested, Mu Yue called over Kakashi and prepared to begin teaching the breathing techniques.
